At the age of sixteen, Aeris was disowned by parents that originally never wanted her.
Why did this happen to such an innocent girl? She was attacked and brutually raped by two
drunken men that cornered her in a dark alley. She was forced to drop her family name of Masquerade.
She moved to Japan and took the surname Kyoki. After being raised by a family friend that secretly
took her in, she happened upon an abandoned dojo in the middle of a beautiful traditional style Japanese
Garden. She's lived there ever since. Single handedly, she repaired the dojo and gardens over the years.
Her favorite place was the cherry blossom tree by the river in the garden. She's stay there for hours and
plays the koto.
