*Lina is lying in her bed wondering where he went and why he left.*

Lina- Oh he's still not back. When will he return? For the world can have no happiness until he returns....*sweatdrop* Oh I feel like Juliet!!!

*The wind then blows the curtian with a gentle breeze. The breeze dies away.*

Lina- Will he not come? Leaving me to wait until eternity! Well I won't! I'll leave if.....

*Lina notices a dark figure near the door.*

Lina- You're here. How long have you been standing there?

*The guy steps forward into the light.*

Xelloss- Long enough to know how you feel about me.

*Lina looks at him and notices that he is injured.*

Lina- You're hurt! What happened?

Xelloss- Nothing more than a scratch.

Lina- A scratch! If you call that a scratch then what's a wond to you?!

*Xelloss looks her in the eyes*

Xelloss- Being without you.

*Lina hugs him*

Xelloss- You know the world does not want me Lina.

Lina- That's not true. Don't go!

*Xelloss turns to the door about to walk out. Lina drops to the floor.*

Lina- Don't go! I love you!

Xelloss- I love you too Lina. That's why I'm leaving. If I was to stay, you would be hunted and much worse killed. If you were killed, I'd have no reason to live.

Lina- They'll never kill me. Just stay with me....just tonight.

Xelloss- Alright.

*Xelloss sits on her bed and Lina lies in his lap. The night grows on and the candle burns out.*
