The story of Sailor Moon is rather simple. It's about a young girl named Usagi who is the reborn Princess of the Moon. Her talking cat Luna finds her (Actually, in the manga Usagi runs over her with her bike. In the anime, Usagi saves her form a bunch of kids picking on Luna.) and realizes who she is and gives her the power to transform into Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon finds the other senshi=soilders who become her close friends. In every episode they fight a new enemy and the enemy always attacks someone the senshi know. It gets a little boring, until they actually go after the big enemy it gets good. Over all, Sailor Moon has a original plot and is very famous, almost everyone knows what is it and has seen it at least once (that's the impression I have gotten). On Anime Turn Pike it is normally in the top 5 animes at least. It is very popular and has many fans all over the world.
