ANIMERICA

A few months ago I wandered into a Suncoast store, which I visit a lot, and I was looking at the Sailor Moon toys and anime videos. I had about 30 bucks with me, but I didn't see anything I wanted to buy. Finally I found a deck of Sailor Moon cards, and I went to the counter to buy them. But I felt disappointed, I finally had more than 5 bucks with me! I couldn't just spend $6 at my favorite store! So my sister pointed out to me an anime magazine on a rack. I picked it up and put it on the counter with my cards. After purchasing my things I felt a little better, I had spent about 11 of my 30 dollars. I got back to my sisters house and began to look through my magazine. And I liked it! It was called Animerica and it had all kinds of neat articles about tons of anime I had never even heard of! I especially liked reading about Magic Knight Rayearth! Anyways you may find this story boring, but I just want to use this page to say how great Animerica is!

Since that night in the middle of February 2000, I have bought a couple more of those magizines. I buy them just when I have an extra 5 bucks on me and I want something good to read. It's a great magazine to read if you want to learn about the latest in anime! It even has some old stuff in it! Animerica has been around for 8 years (released in November 1992). You can find Animerica at comic book stores, Suncoast Video Stores, and other places that carry anime. They cost $4.95 and they have about 96 pages in them. A subscription for a year (12 issues) costs $50, and for 2 years (24 issues) it costs $90. It's too expensive for me, but you may think it's worth it!

To sum this all up, all's I'm saying is that Animerica is a great, very entertaining, anime magazine! I love it and it's always fun to read through it and look at the pictures! I recommend this magazine to any anime lover!
