Ryo of Wildfire took on the role of leader at the start of the long battle. Ryo's armor of Wildfire draws its power from fire and lava. While Ryo wears the armor he can go through any kind of fire and can even withstand extreme heat from a volcano. If his armor comes near any kind of fire source, it increases the power of the armor for a shot time. The closer he comes to fire the more power the armor has, but the farther he is, the weaker the armor gets. If Ryo ever fought in a volcano, the armor would reach maximum power and he would become unstoppable. The spirit of Absolute Virtue is what keeps the armor's evil controlling side from taking over Ryo's mind. The armor has two Katakana swords when in battle can either be held in to hands to fight multiple enemies or connected at the handles to form a long sword staff. If the blades of the swords are broken, they can be reformed by the power of a volcano. Together with the armor and the swords, Ryo can use the special attack "Flare Up Now" (a huge slash of fire raining down upon the enemy). If Ryo of Wildfire and Cye of Torrent combine the special attacks of their armors a huge cyclone can be formed.
