The Mauser-Taxischied is an advanced technology sniper rifle (I mean, come on. Anyone that's seeen this gun in the movie can tell it ain't from the 90s'). I asked a friend about this sniper rifle's nickname "Kompromisslos" and he said it means 'uncompromising' or 'unagreeing' he didn't know exactly which. The Mauser is used in the movie by Section 9's sharpshooters. There's a bar underneath the barrel that contains an adjustable tuning rod which can dampen the barrel vibrations when being fired, which would increase the accuracy of the gun. The Mauser-Taxischied also has a bi-pod that can be mounted at the end of the tuning housing so it won't interfer with firing, or reloading, the gun. On top of the barrel is a 'floating' sensor suite, which has several terminal input connection for visual interface. The sensor plate includes a binocular IR (InfaRed) scope, which is also known as a CCD. The CCD can be adjusted manually or throughcybernetic assistance. It also includes a chronometer which tracks the muzzle velocity. The scope are powerful and can see through thin opaque materials (for instance the windsheild of a armoured car). This rifle can also shoot right through amrour plating (ie. the end of the movie where the snipers shoot right through a bullet proof window and make quite a mess of the person.)
