Yuna is the galaxy's guardian of light & greatest hero. She protects the world from darkness, with her special powers, and all of her friends. She is also a pretty clueless schoolgirl, whose carefree when it comes to just about everything. It seems like the only goal Yuna has is to become friends with everyone. (yes including the enemies.) With just this alone, you can tell this is one of those incredibly happy anime's that really don't make too much sense. Now your going to here me say this a few times in this review, but Galaxy Fraulein Yuna has soooooo many rip-offs from Sailor Moon, it is a joke! I'm not sure if it is intentional, but it is pretty funny.

The Animation of Galaxy Fraulein Yuna is very colorfull, and cartoonish in general. All of the characters have that basic, semi-new, anime look. Nothing above and beyond, but not bad in any respect. During action scenes, the animation is definatly stepped up alittle. Everything looks smooth, even with a lot of things happening. Setting animation is alos very basic. I never really noticed anything special about it, but once again, it wasn't really bad.

The biggest pro for this series are its great selection of characters. Even though some of them are annoying, as a group, a healthy medium, of character balance is reached. Yuna is an overly happy young girl, who definatly doesn't have her priorities strait. Yuri, (Yuna's best friend,) is my favorite character in the show. She eats far too much, and is always extremely hyper. (She's great allready! ^_^ ) There is also the pretty, and cordial Lia, and her alter-ego Polylina. Man if that isn't the biggest Tuxedo Mask rip-off I've ever seen!! (With the exception of her being a girl.) This series has so many characters, it's kind of hard to name them all, but i'll end by saying if you ever do see this series, watch it for it's characters.

The Music of this series is another giant Sailor Moon rip-off. although I never did actually check, I'm almost posotive that this series used Sailor Moon's japanese musical composer. That music sounds so damn familiar!! So no problems there, now onto the J-Pop ... Why the hell did they have to dub the music!?!?! I really hate it when animes do this. I can understand doing that for TV anime, but why ADV, Why? Luckily, they didn't touch the opening, and ending themes, which I might add, aren't too bad. The first video's ending song Good Night Moon Shadow", was a pretty catchy tune, as well as the second video's theme "Lightning Heart". Finnaly, the voice acting was kind of annoying. ADV is funny cause they use the same voice actors for just about every video, and this one was no exception. The difference here was the constant squeeling from the majority of the characters, at just about all times. (I guess I should have listened to the warning on the box.) ^_^

I'm not too sure why, but I kept on getting bored with this series. Maybe it was the mood I was in when I watched it, but nothing really got me hooked on it. For one, it's a short series, so it didn't really give you a chance to get into it. Secondly, despite there being no extremely hard story to follow, I failed to understand what was going on in the first place. And lastly, this show was just far to happy for my liking. (Sounds wierd doesn't it?) The redeaming points are the few, but nice action scenes. They were short, but were very nice looking, and fit in nicely. The other thing that was pretty entertaining was the whole lesbian inuendo between Yuna, and a lot of her friends. I thought that was funny as hell. The downer to that was the fact that nothing really happened. (AW DAMN!) But oh well ...
