  • Tien's Story Chapter 1:Hidden Powers

    A young boy was laying beside a clear stream that was bounded on both sides by miles of dense forest. This was his quiet place where he always goes for a break from his tough life as an orphan. The boy's name is Tien. He was not really thinking about much, just resting when suddenly, he heard a scream. The ear-piercing shriek came from deep in the forest. Tien immediately jumped up and ran towards the sound. When he got to the area where the ominous chaotic scene awaited, he saw a young girl, with brown eyes and brown hair that was about shoulder-length, up in a tree with a humongous Grizzly bear at the bottom. It was growling and ramming it's 15 foot, 2 ton frame against the tree. The tree cracked with each blow and before Tien could do anything, the tree started to fall. The huge brown grizzly bear drooled with anxious anticipation of the oncoming meal. At that point, something changed in Tien. He felt enraged and ran at the tree, jumped to the girl, picked her up, and jumped back down to the ground with her in his arms. The grizzly didn't know what happened. It looked around and around trying to see where she went but it couldn't find her. After the tree fell with a crash, Tien yelled to the bear, "Over here ya big oaf!". The girl looked at him like he was crazy. The bear roared a mighty roar that made Tien jump back and started charging at the two children. It's eyes were glowing red, like a fire, from the bears' rage. It lunged forward at Tien and the girl but they disappear with a blur. The bear then roared in pain because Tien had shot it in the back with an energy blast! The bear fell with a deafening boom. The girl stared at Tien in amazement and asked, "How did you do that?!?" Tien replied, "I don't know really, I just got mad at that bear for trying to kill you and WHAM something happened. My insides felt like they were burning and..." ..... "YOU'RE FLYING!!!" interrupted the girl. "Huh?"says Tien as he looked down and saw that he was floating a couple of inches off the of ground. "Wow!" he exclaimed, "this is so cool!". "What's your name?" asked the girl. "Tien" he replied, "and your's?". "Tracy" she replied "LOOK OUT!!!" she squealed as the grizzly bear slashed Tien's back with it's, nearly a foot long, claws. Tien screamed out in pain as he fell to the ground, unconscious. Tracy then screamed and passed out.

  • Tien's Story Chapter 2: New Friends

    In a nearby field, a small boy who had just recovered from a terrible head injury, heard a scream come from the forest. He quickly ran to get his grandfather. "Grandpa Gohan!" the boy yelled. Gohan asked, "What is it Goku?". Goku answered, "I heard somebody screaming in the forest!". The two of them ran into the forest where they saw the two children laying on the ground with a wounded grizzly bear advancing towards it's newfound prey. Goku yelled and disappeared and so did the two other young people that had been laying on the ground. Goku then reappeared, standing next to his grandfather, holding the two children in his arms. They were about his age. The bear, remembering what happened the last time someone disappeared, turned tail and ran away. Goku and Gohan took the strangers back to their hause and began treating the boys wounds. Goku, remembering what he saw on television once, dumped an ice-cold bucket of water on the girl's face. She woke up with a jump and asked in a scared voice, "Where am I?". Goku looked at her and smiles his goofy little smile while Gohan told the girl how they had rescued she and her friend from the grizzly bear. Gohan then said, "Who burned that bears back?". The girl replied, "Tien, the boy that was with me, did". She pointed at Tien. Gohan looks amazed and asked, "What is your name little girl?". She answered, "My name is Tracy and I'm not a little girl, I'm twelve years old.". Gohan said, "Sorry Tracy, that boy, Tien was it?, is a very talented and special young man, he has powers that he can use to either help to protect people or to destroy them. Goku has these powers too. Tien will be training to use his powers as soon as his wounds heal. He'll have three long scars on his back for the rest of his life.". Tracy gasped.
    *Two Weeks Later*
    "Hi Tien!" yelled Goku as he saw his new friend walking by himself for the first time in two weeks. "How are you feeling?". "Better," replied Tien, "My back is really sore though. Where's Tracy?". Goku answered, "I think she's still asleep but you don't have time for that right now, my grandfather wants to talk to you now, it's about those powers of your's, he can teach you to fight and control them. I have powers too. I'm training to control my ki, or those energy blasts, with Master Roshi on an island not too far from here. Anyway, grandpa says that you will need ot start training tomorrow.". Tien exclaimed, "Maybe, when I'm ready, Gohan will let us train together.". He walked back into the house. In the living room, Tracy was just starting to eat breakfast. "Hi Tracy!" said Tien. "Hi Tien," she replied, "thanks for saving me from that grizzly bear.". Tien replied, "You're welcome. I'm just glad you are okay.". Tracy blushed at his comment. "Yes I am okay, but only thanks to you. Did you know that you blew a hole in that bear's back?!?! And you're only...How old are you?" she asked. "I'm twelve." said Tien. "Me too." said Tracy. Then she hesitated. She galnced up at Tien and said "Thank's again." and then she walks back to her room.

  • Tien's Story Chapter 3:The Training

    Tien stretched and yawned as he woke up for his first day of training with Mr. Gohan. As he opened his eyes, he saw Gohan standing in his doorway. "First you eat breakfast, then you stretch, then we train." said Gohan as he threw a pair of baggy green pants and a white sleeveless shirt to Tien. "These clothes are weighted and they are all you will wear for the rest of your training.". Tien took one look at the pants and said, "I don't like them. How about turning my old clothes into weighted ones. Keep the shirt though, I like it. I want you to add the most weight that you can to my cargo jeans and my leather jacket, okay?". Tien threw the clothes to the old man. "Sure, but you'll have to wear what I gave you for today." said Gohan as he walked off with the jeans and jacket. Tien walked into the kitchen and got himself a couple of granola bars and some 2% milk and ate his breakfast. When he finished, he walked outside and began to stretch. He did his stretches for nearly an hour before Gohan told him that it was time to begin training. Tien showed Gohan that he already could fly so he taught Tien various punches and kicks and techniques of many different kinds. At the end of the day, Tien slowly walked back to his room to find the new weighted clothes laying on his bed. Gohan then walked in and said, "I hope you like them. Your training will start at 6:00 tomorrow morning, sleep well.". Tien sighed and tried to pick up the clothes. He couldn't lift them. He was too tired and they were too heavy. He heard Gohan laugh and say, "200 pounds my boy! That's the most I could add!". Tien sighed again and slid the clothes off of the bed and went to sleep.
    *The Next Day*
    Tien awoke with a jump and looked at his alarm clock. It read 5:55. Tien put on his super heavy clothes and sort of walked, more like scooted, into the kitchen and ate a granola bar and drank some milk. He then walked outside and started to stretch. He found it extremely hard to stand up with the new weighted clothing on. It was twice as heavy as him. He was a 95 pound, twelve year old boy. He felt like he was going to die. Then he began his second stretch. After an hour of this painful toil, Gohan came outside, chuckled and told Tien it was time to begin the training. Tien trained for 12 long hard hours before going to his room for the night. Tien took off his weighted jacket and shirt and put on his old white t-shirt. He then took off his weighted pants and started to put on his boxers but before he could completely get the boxers on, Tracy came into the room to give Tien his dinner. When she saw Tien's .....nakedness she gasped, blushed, and turned around. Tien blushed and quickly put on his underwear. Tracy then said, "Here's your dinner Tien, you didn't get to eat with Gohan and I so I thought I should give it to you, er I mean, your dinner that is.". She gave the food to the now dressed boy and started to walk away. As she was leaving, Tien grabbed her arm, spun her around, and planted a kiss right on her small pink lips. She stared at him in amazement and then ran to her room. When she got there, she layed on her bed and smiled. The next two days went basically the same way as the first two. Tien noticed that the weighted clothes wer slowly feeling lighter and he was beginning to muscle up. He wasn't as tired as he used to be after training. After another week of his training, he was able to take the weighted clothes off of himself and fling them over 100 feet away with ease. Gohan noticed Tien's strength growing and decided it was time for him to face an opponent. "Tien!" Gohan yelled, "Come over here for a minute!" Tien stopped his training and flew over to where Gohan was standing and said, "Yes sir?". Gohan said, "I think you're ready to fight my son, Goku.". He then sent Tien to bed for the night. Tien was very excited about the fight to come because tomorrow, he would face his very first huuman (or so he thought) opponent.

  • Tien's Story Chapter 4: Tien's First Opponent

    Tien took off his weighted jacket and shirt and threw them on the ground. Goku did the same with his shirt. They flew towards each other at blinding speed. All Gohan and Tracy could see was Goku flying towards the Earth and then the huge explosion he made as his body came crashing into the hard dirt. Goku got up, brushed himself off, smiled and then cupped his hands behind him. He yelled “Kame...Hame..HA!!!”. Gohan yelled “NOOOOO!! GOKU!!!!” just as the gargantuan blue energy blast was released. Tien just stared at the approaching energy wave in disbelief. Tien barely dodged it. Goku chuckled and said, “There’s more where that came from.” and then started forming another energy beam. Tien then thought to himself, I don’t think I can dodge another one of these attacks. Maybe if I...He then disappeared and then reappeared behind Goku and then kicked him in the middle of the back. Gohan told them to stop their fight immediately. He picked up Goku and carried him into the house. Tracy ran to Tien and hugged him and then exclaimed, “That was wonderful! I thought you were going to die When Goku shot that big blue beam at you. I was proved wrong though!” Tien, surprised at the sudden showing of affection from Tracy, blushed and said “Thanks.” Then he went to Gohan and saw that Goku was OK, after that he asked, “When will I learn to shoot beams and that kind of stuff?” Gohan looked tired and said “Tomorrow you will go with Goku to train with Master Roshi to learn how to control your powers and ki. Tien and Goku were flying to Master Roshi’s when they saw an old man that had gotten his right leg smashed underneath of a tree. They stopped and helped the him. Tien lifted the tree up off of the ground while Goku pulled the man out from underneath of it. The old man was very grateful to the two young men for saving his life. It turns out that this man was extremely rich and gave Goku and Tien 1,000 dollars each! The two boys were extremely surprised by this gift and said that he didn’t have to give them anything but the Old man insisted on it. Tien and Goku said thank you and flew away. They got to the island a little late so Master Roshi made them run 500 laps around the island. The running wasn’t bad but that little bald-headed boy kept laughing at them. Tien and Goku finally finished their laps and walked over to where the bald kid was standing with Master Roshi. “Well Goku,” said Roshi, “Who’s your friend?”. Goku smiled and said, “ This is Tien, He is very strong for someone who has only trained for about a week. Actually, he’s very strong, period.” Tien smiled and asked, “Hi Master Roshi, who’s the bald kid?”. Tien looked at the short boy while Master Roshi said, “His name is Krillin.” Krillin chuckled and said, “You don’t look so strong to me!”. It was Tien’s turn to laugh so he did and said “Krillin, could you hold these a second?”. He took off his weighted shirt and jacket and threw them to the short, balding boy. Krillin caught the clothes but didn’t stop them. He flew back with the force of the heavy clothes. After skidding for a few yards, he fell with a crash. “Help me!” he gasped, “I can’t breathe!”. Tien walked over, picked the clothes up off of Krillin and put them back on. “You wanna test me again?” said Tien as Master Roshi just stood there with his mouth gaping. Tien broke the silence by asking, “Are you going to train me or what?”. Master Roshi nodded and began teaching Tien and Goku to control the Kamehameha wave. They continued to learn moves for a few more years. Tien and Goku learned techniques such as the Masenko, Destructo Disk, Dodonpa, and Solar Flare. They also learned how to detect powerlevels.

  • Tien's Story: Chapter 5:The BIG Question

    After two years of intense training at Master Roshi’s Island, Tien and Goku were finally able to go home and train however they wished. They now knew the Masenko, Destructo Disk, Dodonpa, and Solar Flare but they only mastered a few of them. Goku mastered the Kamehameha, Masenko and the Solar Flare techniques while Tien mastered the Dodonpa, the Destructo Disk, and the Solar Flare techniques. Goku could detect powerlevels slightly better than Tien though. Tien and Goku were now 14 years old and Tien couldn’t wait to see Tracy again. He had called her almost everyday for the past 2 years. He had secretly developed feelings for the girl. When Tien and Goku landed in the large green field in front of Grandpa Gohan’s house, Tracy and Gohan came running out to greet the two young men. Tien was amazed! Tracy had developed a flawless body. She had the GREATEST curves he had ever seen! She smiled and hugged him. Tien sighed and melted inside. He squeezed her gently and said, “Tracy, I need to talk to you...alone.”. She said O.K. and followed him into the house. “What is it Tien?” asked Tracy as her beautiful brown eyes looked into Tien’s stone grey ones. “Well,” said Tien as he blushed, “I really like you and was wondering if you wanted to, you know, go out with me?” Tien looked at her for what seemed like an eternity. He got extremely nervous. Then it happened. Tracy jumped forward and threw her arms around the boy and said, “I was hoping you would ask! Of course I will!” Tien smiled and kissed her forehead and then took her hand and walked outside to see Goku and Gohan. Goku smiled and said, “So I see that you two are hooked up now huh?” Tien said, “Yep!” answered Tien. Gohan looked at everyone and then said, “I hate to interrupt but I’ve been anxious to see what you all have learned these past few years. Tracy will go first.” Tracy smiled and started to fly around the house at incredible speeds. Tien and Goku were impressed. Tien said, “Good job Tracy!” and Goku finished the statement with, “but now it’s our turn!” The two boys started to fight. Goku landed the first punch and sent Tien flying. Tien thought he saw a kid with freaky looking hair in the sky but he figured he got hit in the face too hard. Goku kicked Tien in the back. Tien had enough of the beating already and threw off his weighted jacket and shirt. He started to yell and a large blue light surrounded him. He flew towards Goku and kicked him in the stomach and then in the nose. Goku didn’t know what had hit him. Gohan murmured, “Tien is still the strongest, darn.” Goku smiled but then got blasted with a weak dodonpa from Tien. Goku coughed up a little blood and then threw off his weighted shirt, or what was left of it anyway, and began to yell. A big blue light surrounded Goku just as it had Tien and Goku smiled again. The two boy’s both disappeared and started to fight at such high speeds that Gohan and Tracy couldn’t see them. Just then, Tien came crashing into the Earth. Tien opened his eyes and saw a blue streak of light where the boy had been. *I’m just hallucinating* he thought as the yellowish light of an oncoming kamehameha came whizzing towards him. After the explosion, Tien threw a destructo disk at Goku but the little guy dodged. Goku then used a solar flare, which blinded Tien, and followed up with a Masenko. Tien felt a burning sensation all around him. He began to regain his vision. After he had fully recovered, Tien used a solar flare that blinded Goku and pummeled him with various punches and kicks. Goku fell to the ground because of being knocked out. Tien fell because of pain and exhaustion. Tien's 6 foot, 200 pound frame was covered with cuts and burns. Goku's 5 foot 8 inch body was really bashed up as well. I might as well include everyone's heights so far. Tracy is 5'6" and 115 lbs and Grandpa Gohan is 5'2" and 180 lbs. Anyways, it took a week for the boys to heal completely.

  • Tien's Story Chapter 6: Another Kid in Distress

    Gohan and Tracy were getting berries for lunch when the girl saw a small boy with funny hair and a tail laying near some bushes. She called Gohan over and the old man picked the child up and carried him back to the house. Tien and Goku were sparring again when Tracy and Gohan came running with the injured boy. Tien, Goku, and Tracy ran and got their first aid kit for Grandpa Gohan to use. Gohan cleaned the child up and bandaged him. In the process, the kid woke up, yelled, and punched Gohan. He didn't know where he was. He walked through the halls and discovered that he was in the house of the people he had been watching a week before. He slowly stumbled into the kitchen and fell as he reached the doorway. That girl with brown hair had been cooking something. She saw the funny kid and asked for his name. "Vegeta he answered. "Vegeta, I'm Tracy and those guys over there are Tien and Goku." *Kakkarott* thought Vegeta as he looked at Goku. Tracy then stated, " The old man is Gohan, Goku's father but we all call him Grandpa because he's so old. Would you like something to eat?" Vegeta's stomach growled. He said yes and began to eat. Just then,the two boys and the old man came in and introduced themselves to him. They all ate dinner and had a conversation which Vegeta didn't participate in. Vegeta then went to bed. "What's with him?" asked Tien. "He's probably just shy Tien." said Tracy, "I think it's about time for us to go to bed too." Tien agreed and went with Tracy to their room and got into their bed. "Tien," said Tracy. "What?" asked Tien. "We need to be kind to Vegeta or else he might try to kill us. You said that you saw him fly away. That means that he probably has powers like your's." Tien looked at her and then said, "Don't worry, he'll be fine! I'll be nice." Tracy smiled and kissed Tien. *Meanwhile* Vegeta was thinking about Goku, or I mean, Kakkarott. He came up with many ways to kill the tailless saiyan. His thoughts drifted though, to the beautiful Earth girl named Tracy. *Who cares if she's 2 years older than me, and 6 inches taller, I'll claim her regardless.* thought Vegeta. At that moment, he heard her with Tien in the next room. He became enraged and decided that Tien had to go.

  • Tiens Story Chapter 7: Goku... the Hero!

    Goku and Tien were sparring when suddenly, Goku heard a girl scream and a crash as rocks fell from the mountain nearby. The two boys flew towards the mountain as fast as they could. When they reached the entrance, they saw Vegeta standing in front of it. He then smirked and said, “I knew this would work!”. Tien yelled, “VEGETA!!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!” Vegeta smiled and said, “You’ll have to kill me first!” Tien glared and said, “Goku, leave him to me, you help those people.” Goku nodded and flew inside while Tien removed his weighted jacket and shirt and threw them on the ground. Vegeta kept on smiling and said, “Tracy will be mine!”. Tien yelled out curses and flew towards the short boy. He threw punch after punch at Vegeta but the saiyan dodged them all. Tien then recognized that he needed to use his full power against Vegeta to defeat him. Vegeta turned his scouter on and watched the numbers quickly grow as Tien powered up. Vegeta kept smiling even though Tien’s powerlevel was more than 2 times his own. “Is that all you’ve got?” smirked Vegeta, “Tracy must not know how weak you are. If she did, she’d have left you by now.” He laughed, then his scouter blinked a power of 6,000! Vegeta was only 2,000 MAX! Vegeta then thought *Uh-oh, I think I went too far.* Then, Tien began beating the life out of the younger boy. After landing thousands of punches, Tien stared at the motionless, bloody child. Vegeta opened his eyes, smiled, and said, “My Grandmother hits harder than that!” Tien laughed and then split into 4 versions of himself and surrounded Vegeta. The saiyan trembled and began to power up. Two of the Tiens started to form Destructo Disks while the other two formed Dodonpas. They fired the blasts at the now fully powered Vegeta. He dodged the destructo disks but got leveled by the two dodonpas. Vegeta got up clutching his arm and twitching a little. “How dare you!” said Vegeta as he put all of his power into forming a Galick Gun. Tien turned back into his original (only one) self and fell down because he had put all of his power into his last attack. Vegeta began to laugh maniacally as he fired his energy beam straight at the helpless Earthling’s head. Just then, Goku jumped in front of the blast and took all of the damage. Vegeta gasped and screamed “NOOO!!!” as Goku fired a kamehameha while in midair. Vegeta couldn’t move out of the way in time and was hit by the beam. As Vegeta and Tien were lying on the ground motionless. Goku flew over to Chichi, the girl he had just rescued, and told her not to be afraid. She nodded. Goku gave Tien a sensu bean. Tien stood up and said thanks to Goku who then picked the girl up and flew home. Tien followed.
