Well it is my first story by my self princess firefly help on the last one. it is a sad story it is about Serena's dad and he die's and her mom and brother and her all are so sad at that and derien kinda help her but not to much.Well what made me do this is my friend's said that i have to write a story about something on my own and i think if i put my mind to it i can. And well it happend to me and my family i have 4 sister and 4 brother but two is not my dads they are my moms first marrage and it did not work. and then she meant my dad and then they got marry and they where together for 16 years and then the police came and told us that he died in a car wrake and it was so bad for me because i was the last to talk to him and it hurts but on to the story. The night it happend By:Princess Shy Rated:PG/13 ***** It all happened so fast. I was at my grandma's with Sammy. We were spending the day with her because we were helping to make Halloween cookies. It was October 19. My name's Serena Tskunio. I'm 16 right now. I still have my permit, though. I have the world's best boyfriend! His name is Darien Chiba. I have a handful of close friends too, but that's another story. Anyways. We were about to put another batch of cookies in the oven when my mom's best friend, Sis showed up. She took my grandmother into the other room for a moment then ruturned. She was so pale looking. My grandmother stayed in the living room, though. I thought that was a little strange, but oh well. "Kids, come with me, ok?" She said in a sincere tone. She was on the verge of tears. "What?" Me & Sammy asked at the same time. She looked even paler now. She didn't respond at all. She just took our hands & lead us out the door to her car. There was an erie silence in the car. I could tell we were heading towards my house across town. Why? We finally arrived. She parked in the driveway & we quickly got out. Looking around, we noticed a few state troopers & an ambulance. We gave Sis a look. She just nodded towards the front door. We went in. There was three officers standing in the hall talking to each other. One noticed us & walked over. "Are you the children of Irene & Ken?" The tall, younger man asked us. We nodded. He sighed & looked at the ground for a moment. Then back to us. "What is it? What's wrong?!" I asked, impaciently. He looked me in the eyes & said, "There's been an acciedent. Your father was killed. Your mother is in ICU at the hospital. She's in a serious condition. Your old enough so we'll let you stay with a friend until she recoveres." He said & looked at me. Then to Sammy. "We'll arrange for a tempory foster home for Sammy until she's out & able to take care of you two again." We stood there, unable to move. Just letting everything sink in. "Do... you have a place to stay?" He asked. I nodded, not really hearing him. A million thoughts shot through my mind. I ran. Away from that house, away from those officers, away from my problems. I cryed my heart out but didn't quit running. I pushed past hundreds of people rudely & continued down the crowed sidewalk. *SLAM* "Stupid BITCH! Watch where-" It was Raye, of all people. She stared at me intensly. "-Serena?! What's wrong?! Are you ok?!" She half yelled at me. "I-I'm fine. Just gr-great!" I choked out & pushed her aside like everyone else. I continued to run, ignoring her yells & shouts. Thank god she wasn't going to follow me. Always count on Raye to not be there. But I'm glad this time. I needed to be alone. I end up leaning against a large oak tree. I was in the park. I'd stood there, crying uncontrollably for fifteen minutes or so. I didn't care. What else could I do? It started to rain. Wow. It had gotten dark already. How'd that happen? Who cares? Lightning crashed through the black skys. Normally, I'd be scared out of my wits by it. But not today. I slowly pushed myself into walking away from the park. The rain was freezing & the wind was even worse. I stumbled the now empty street. Towards the only place I could think of. Darien's. I eventully end up at his apartment complex. I walk slowly down one of the long empty hallways on the fifth floor. I used the wall for support because it was difficult to see through so many tears. Or pain for that matter. I knocked lightly on a familar door. I start to feel dizzy. My knees felt like they're gonna give out any second. The door opens. I didn't even get to gaze at his face before I passed out. I knew I didn't hit the floor, though. He probably caught me & completely flipped over my state. Soaked, shivering, & extremely red around my eyes. ~~~DARIEN'S POV~~~ "Serena?!" I yell. She fell fowards. I grabbed her. She was soaked! And her skin was freezing to the touch. Oh god! What happened to her?! She was out. I carried her to my bedroom & layed her down. She was shivering & her lips were a pale blue color. I unbuttoned her wet shirt & threw it on the floor. Along with the rest of her soaked cloths & wrapped her in the covers. She still shivered under all the thick blankets. What happened to my angel? I swear, if someone hurt her, they'd pay. ~~~SERENA'S POV~~~ It must have been a few hours before I woke up. I knew I was ok since I felt Darien's warm arm wrapped around me protectivly. He was asleep, laying next to me. I could still hear the storm outside. The memorys came back instantly. I guess he heard my sniffles because he woke up. I quickly wiped away my tears. "What happened?" He asked, concerned. I looked away. I didn't want him to see my tears. I mumbled what happened. He said nothing. Just stared into my eyes. ***** Till next time! hahaha.
