New Year's Disaster (PG 13)
Chapter 2: Strange Discoveries

	"Well obviously the first thing we ought to do is let the other
senshi know." concluded Ami. "Well duh!" said Minako. "I'm talkin about
how to stop them!" "Oh, well that's something we're gonna have to think
over. Better call a meeting." "Hey, Ami I'm gonna grab a bite to eat,
you want anything?" asked Greg as he got up to leave. "No Greg, I'm
fine, but be on the lookout for..." before she was finished Greg kissed
her and said, "Don't worry I'll be on the lookout for some alien
seductress trying to tempt me away from you, and I won't let her get to
me, I promise." He then walked off towards the refreshment table. 
	Meanwhile in the bathroom Rei was still furious over the episode
with Chad. "Oh I hate him! He thinks he owns me and can keep me from
seeing other guys! He acts as if we're dating and I'm cheating on him!"
Rei exclaimed. "But ummm...Rei you are or rather were going out, so to
tell you the truth you were cheating on him." pointed out Usagi. "No we
weren't!" said Rei. "Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Usagi saw
something glint in the light. She looked for the source and found it was
coming from Rei's ear. As she closely examined it she thought it looked
sort of like an antenna on a remote control. "What are you doing
Meatball Head?! Quit staring in my ear! Is there something so absolutely
fascinating about it?!" Usagi ignored her and reached her hand to pull
out the object. "Usagi, what are you doing?! You're starting to scare me
now! Stop it!" 
	Usagi continued to ignore her and then suddenly grabbed the
object, which turned out to be an antenna on a remote control, and
yanked it out of Rei's ear. "Owwwww!!! What the..." suddenly Rei stopped
in midsentence. She looked around at her surroundings and asked "Usagi,
what am I doing here?!" Usagi was just about to explain the occurrence
when their communicators went off. Ami's face appeared as she said,
“Usagi, Rei there's something weird going on that involves some new
enemy! We're having a meeting in the lounge, so get here pronto!" "No
time for explanations right now Rei! I'll fill you in later, now c'mon
let's go!" said Usagi. Rei, still clueless to what was going on followed
Usagi out. 
	Back at the dance hall, Hotaru, who hadn't been paying much
attention to the current events, was startled by the scene caused by
Rei, the man she was with, and Chad. "That's odd," she thought, “Rei
would never do that. Something funny is going on, but I don't quite know
what." She went out onto the balcony to think, the folds of her dress
swishing softly as she walked. She leaned on the railing gazing out into
the night sky filled with stars. She sighed wistfully wishing she had
someone special to share the night with. Suddenly she heard whimpering
in the garden below. She leaned further over and strained her ears to
listen. "Everything is going according to plan." she heard a voice
whisper. 	"Perfect, we'll have them out of the way in no time." added
another in a hushed tone of voice. "What an odd conversation" she
thought. Suddenly her imagination, which tended to be overactive at
times, kicked in. "What if...they're a bunch of psycho serial killers
who plan to kill us all! Or maybe...maybe they're planning to pull of a
burglary and a murder! Or maybe or maybe...maybe they're evil aliens
bent on world domination whose plan is to eliminate all the sailor
senshi so we won't get in their way! Or maybe...maybe..." she didn't get
to find out what her next thought was for at that moment she had leaned
to far over, lost her balance, and toppled from the balcony. "Oof!" she
cried as she landed on her butt right in the middle of the alien agents
discussing their plans to take over the world and get rid of the sailor
senshi. 
	"Who are you?!" demanded the blonde haired female who seemed to be
the leader of the group. "Oh just an innocent passerby who just happened
to fall from the balcony while gazing at the stars, who didn't happen to
hear any of you conversation whatsoever. Lovely evening isn't it?! I
think I'll go for a stroll, anyone care to join me? No of course you
won't. How silly of me. You all have more important things to do than
worry about a silly girl like me. So ummm... I'll just be going now!
Bye!" said Hotaru too innocently right before she took off running.
"After her!" yelled the blonde. "Why? She said she didn't know
anything." said the tall dark brown haired man. "You nincompoop!"
shouted the blonde whacking the man on her head with her purse. "Now
after her you fools!" With that the whole group took off after Hotaru. 
	"Oh crap it all! I knew this was gonna happen. It's just my luck
that they don't believe my story and start chasin' after me!" she
muttered under her breath. "Over here!" whispered a voice. Hotaru turned
to see who it was. She heard shouting and saw that the group was closing
in on her. Quickly she felt a pair of strong hands grasp her wrist and
pull her behind a curtain of Wisteria. (yeah I know they aren't in
season right now but I love 'em all the same and couldn't resist
including them in my story!) The group ran past the vines not bothering
to peer behind them. "Where is she?!" screamed the blonde. "I think we
lost her!" shouted another voice. "Well find her! She knows too much!
She'll ruin all our plans, and she's probably one of those pesky sailor
pumpkins that always interfere with our plans! FIND HER!" exclaimed the
furious blonde. "Whew!" said Hotaru wiping a bead of sweat from her
head. She turned around to see and thank her mysterious rescuer, and
found herself face to face with a really cute guy.

And this concludes chapter 2! My mom has been yelling at me to go to bed
for like ever now but I had to finish this and wouldn't listen thereby
making her very mad! O.o So no time for a big long author's note just
