Hime: Ahh that was really nice of you Keely-san! Keely ^_^ I know! Now on with show! PS: THIS DOES CONTAIN SOME WORDS AND STUFF SO DEAL WITH IT OR NOT. THANK YOU. ::::::::::::::::Serena, Born a slave Ch.3::::::::::::::::::: The scouts were too late…. A large golden ball froze the knives and place and sent the daggers flying at the king instead, barely missing their mark. Every one looked up at the small corners and found three figures standing there. Jumping down the figures stared at their princess who smiled softly at them with gratitude. They were the princesses of the outer planets. Haruka from Uranus, the planet of strength. Micharu from the Neptune, planet of song. And finally the scout as old as time as its self, yet never aging, Setsuna of Pluto, planet of silence. Of the many sailors, these were the strongest of them all, ruling the outer galaxy with a strict but fair rule, much like the Moon Kingdom. Serena turned to the king and smiled, her eyes holding a sympathetic look. The king, who had by now gotten rid of the last dagger holding his cape glared at her his voice shaking as he spoke. “Why are you looking at me!? Do you whish to pout your little lips and ask to kiss up to me?” Haruka growled and took a step forward before being frozen by force of gravity. Turing a heavy head to his princess he saw her put her hand down. “No Haruka. Don’t let little comments overrule your life and anger your emotions. This is my fight.” Turning back to the king she took a step forward. “Your majesty I stare at you not because I want to fight, but because I feel sympathy for you.” “Sympathy?” he spat, his eyes showing nothing but hate. “Yes, because you have never had a good heart. Since you were born you have never really meant the things you had said or done. Your married only for power, had a son who you never did anything for, you lived an infinitesimal life and had no love. I pity you.” The gravitational spell had worn off and Micharu held Haruka’s hand with a gentle smile. “Princess Serenity is right. You have never been loved, therefor you never learned love another. Princess, can you save his soul?” Serenity’s eyes filled with tears and she gently shook her head, a tear caught by silver light hit the red carpet floor. “No. His soul is too blackened to be saved. I’m afraid if I use the crystal he will instantaneously combust from to much light. There is only one thing I can do.” The king shrunk in his seat and put his hands in front of his face. “C-Can’t we talk this out? Maybe if I pay you? Promise to denounce my thrown? I-I’ll give YOU the thrown!” Serenity a step towards his majesty, tears trailing down her ivory face. “I’m sorry.” “Sorry for what you bitch!?” “Sorry you could not defeat the evil within yourself.” Serenity raised her hands and conjured a sleeping spell. Before the ball of light could be thrown a hand grabbed hers. Looking up she saw matching blues eyes that cried tear for tear with hers. “Please don’t do this Princess. I know father is a good man. Can’t you at least try to help him?” Serenity closed her eyes, tears still in her eyes. It was so dark, not a spark of light. Everything was lifeless, proving that the king’s soul had nothing good. "But it can’t be!" Thought Serenity as she drifted through the dark webs that tried to hold her back. "There is always good in person. No matter how small!" And then there it was. A glimmer. Not a very big or bright glitter, but a glitter still. Floating down to it she picked it up and reached inside the light, looking at the memory it held. “Mama! Mama! Look what I found!” Cried the little king as he ran from the castle gardens, holding a white rose. “My what a beautiful flower my love! Thank you. Come let us go have some lunch. And then after that we can go for a nice afternoon stroll.” Jumping into his mother’s welcoming arms he smiled. “I’ll always love you mother.” Serenity smiled through her tears and shouted to the darkness around her. “Do you see this light your majesty? Do you remember this promise to your mother!? Use this to grow stronger! Make this darkness leave you! Leave darkness, leave now!” Serenity snapped her eyes open and quickly taking her crystal she raised it and shouted to the king. “Your majesty! From this moment on you are to know what love is! You will finally understand how to care for others!” With this a small string of silver light shot out of the round crystal and strait into the king’s head. After the light had died down the king was glowing a golden color. Though it really wasn’t himself. It was his spirit. The body was laying motionless on the ground. “Thank you Princess Serenity. I am afraid however, that because the darkness had taken over me so much that even with the help of the crystal it wouldn’t have kept me from leaving this world. I am sorry my son, for never showing you love. I really do love you. And I will now give the thrown to you.” With a final wave the king’s spirit was gone and only his shell was left on the ground. The Prince with tears streaming down his face gently took the crown from his father’s head and place it upon his own. And with a loud, firm voice he announced to the crowed of stunned nobles, “I, Prince Endyimond Son of George Meryl and Quista Meryl will take my duty as king of this realm!” No one in the room moved. And after several seconds Serenity bowed and then followed by every one else in the room. Endyimond though tears still fell, held himself proudly and walked up to the bowing Serenity. Taking her hands he lifted her up to meet his gaze. “Princess Serenity you have saved my father from complete misery and on behalf of earth I would like to thank you and give you my word as king that no harm shall ever befall the kingdom you come from, or your friends.” And he then gently kissed her cheek. And suddenly, something filled them with warmth, though not knowing what it was, it felt wonderful. Pulling away the two blushed and a knight rose his voice. (Keely: Yeah I know it was only a country, but it didn’t seem right so it ’s the whole world now k!) “Hail King Endyimond!” And soon applause’s and cheers filled the room. Serenity, her guardians, and her brother came together and each one in turn told her how brave she had been. “Serenity, it is time to go home. Your mother must be very worried, after all Setsuna told her that you would come home today.” Serenity smiled and cried as she teleported away, and one word filled the room and every ones heart. “Home.” ~*~*~*Moon Kingdom~*~*~*~ Queen Serenity ran through the halls, ignoring the cries that maids made. Her daughter was home. Her daughter! Oh how she had longed to see her daughter; to see how she had grown! And there she was her beautiful daughter that now looked so much like her! “Serenity! Oh my dearest daughter!” She cried as she ran to her daughter, crying and laughing all the while. And through this happy reunion Serenity also thought of another loved one…one back on earth… Queen Serenity entered her daughter’s room and noticed the sad expression. She knew what had happened and she knew what she could do too. Putting a gentle hand on Serenity she led her to a large white room with a golden star engraved on the marble floor. “I wish to show you something dear. Now watch closely.” Queen Serenity’s moon symbol began to glow and soon an image of earth came into view, and then the prince, who was helping the peasant’s with food. Leaving Serenity in the room Queen Serenity smiled it would not be long now. The five princesses and two princes talked in the library, making sure none of the maids were around. “I’m worried about Serenity! She has been going into that room and nine in the morning and then leaving and nine at night. I haven’t even seen her eat!” cried Mina in despair. “Her psychic level has gone down drastically too. She may loose it if she continues to use it and not rest.” Said Ray with a tired face. “She also has been getting paler and skinner, she might get very sick she doesn’t start taking care of her health.” Said Amy sullenly. “Please do not make it sound as if she’s going to die dear princesses. This is merely a clash with fate. Soon things will work out and your princess will be happy again.” Said Setsuna’s voice through the walls. The girls could only mumble as they left the room, and the two princes conversed with themselves. Serenity soon became more and more ghastly looking and Queen Serenity, not being able to take it any more called apon earth, asking the prince to come to her daughter’s aid. Endyimond rushed quickly over and found his princess sick and pale, laying on the bed. He quickly came to her side and held her hand fondly. “Dear princess please get better.” She placed a shaky hand on his and smiled faintly. “As long as your hear, I know I will. Please don’t leave me.” The prince smiled and placed a kiss on her brow. “Never.” More love and tenderness could not have been expressed than that word. Within the weeks and months that past the princess quickly regained her health and happiness, playing with her friends in the morning and taking afternoon and evening strolls in the royal gardens. And in the middle of the gardens was a large water fountain with two lovers holding hands. And when the prince had asked the princess to marry him on the spot her eyes welled with tears as she watched him slip the blue ring on her finger. Finally, a true love sighed the stars above them, and shone and twinkled for all they were worth, knowing that as long as the couple lived and loved, their lights would never dim. And so…. “That is how it all happened.” Whispered the queen to the red rose, looking up at the shinning stars with a slight smile. Warm arms suddenly incased her tiny body and she leaned back, smiling at the stars. “The stars hold such beauty in them tonight don’t they darling? Perhaps one day they will shine on the earth.” Looking to her side she saw the dark planet and frowned, but it quickly faded to a smile. “But, one day the earth will be green again.” Stroking her hair the king put his cape around his beloved. “Come dear, it’s getting cold, and we don’t want you to freeze.” Taking her hand he felt a tug. Turning he saw his wife still staring at the stars. “Just a little longer. I want to be here just a little longer.” Smiling the king rapped them in his cape and watched the stars twinkle. ~*~*~*Owari*~*~*~ Keely: Ahhh the sweet taste of love at the end of a good story na!?
