Hey-o! It’s Crescent Moon here. I’m starting another new story because I’m bored. Anyway, this is called The Final Scout. It takes place after Beryl, but before Ann and Alan. Everyone has lost their memories, except for one person. PERSON, not CAT. If you’ve read my stories before, then you have a good idea of who it might be. Folks like us, we never fuss with school or books or learnin’. Still we’re happy as can be. Doin’ what comes naturally! Doin’ what comes naturally! Sorry! The school musical is coming up and I’m excited. I’m only in the chorus, but oh well. Anyway, this will seem weird. The enemies might not be that great. I get mixed up sometimes and use other people’s ideas, then have to rewrite. So, please, if this goes along the lines of any other story on the web already, tell me at smtradingcardcollector@yahoo.com. Thanks! -Crescent Moon The Final Scout: Prologue ‘My friends are dead. They died to save me and now even he’s dead. Everyone is. No one is around. If the guardians find out, who knows what they might do if I tell them I remember.’ thought a girl, morbidly. Tears ran down her cheeks as she sat in the frozen wasteland. She was still in the dress. The dress that brought back all her memories, that caused her to remember him . The dress that saved her, but not her friends. She threw her head up and yelled out in pain, “WHY ME?” She continued to cry, tears flowing down her cheeks. No one could help her now, not even the guardians. Not even him. She stood up. ‘Might as well get going. I guess I can pretend not to know anything about my friends, or him. They might be suspicious, but if I don’t go back, they will think I died as well.’ The girl brought out a wand. She held it tightly. ‘Please let my friends come back. Please.’ she wished. The crystal flared. Then she used it to teleport home. She landed on her bed. She changed back into her normal clothes. It was nearly sun-up. ‘The guardians aren’t here. I’ll have to look for the others today. Maybe the crystal really brought them back.’ The girl stood up, grabbed her book bag, then went downstairs. Her family still wasn’t awake. She dropped her book bag on a chair, then went outside. She walked around in the growing sunlight, sighing. Then, suddenly, BAM! The girl fell back. She looked up. It was HIM !!! She gasped. The man just held out his hand. She took and he helped her up. “Sorry Meatball Head. Didn’t see you.” the man said. “Uh, it’s okay. I run into you often enough Darien.” She laughed. “The tables turned for once.” She smiled sadly. “Listen, I gotta go. I’ll see you around, Minus Zero.” She laughed sadly as she left. As soon as she was out of earshot, the laughter turned to sobs. As she passed the arcade, another man was outside, sweeping. “Hey Serena. What’s wrong?” he asked. “Oh, nothing really Andrew. I’ve just been holding back a lot of emotions for at least two monthes, and it all just came out now. I’ll see you around. Bye.” Serena ran off. Her feet brought her to the Cherry Hill Temple. Serena looked at it and sighed. This was the home of one her friends: Raye. She walked up the steps and looked around. It was still peaceful and beautiful. ‘I can’t believe Beryl would want to destroy this place. Or this world. Can you imagine what life would be like with her rul-’ Serena’s thoughts were cut off with the sound of screams. She glanced at the temple. There was Raye chasing Chad around. Chad had a guilty expression on his face. Raye was pure anger. As they passed Serena, Raye stopped. “Can I help you Miss?” she asked. “Oh, no thanks. I’m just here to look at the trees. I used to know someone here, but she’s gone.” Serena replied. Raye looked confused. Then she saw Chad dash into the house. Raye said good-bye, then ran after him. Serena sighed. ‘She’ll never learn.’ she thought. She glanced at her watch. ‘Oh no! I’ll be late.’ Serena dashed off. Okay, okay, I know that this is really weird and that I don’t have a good story going yet. Anyway, I will promise that I’ll get some action in it in the next part, but I had to introduce it first. Thanks for bearing this! -Crescent Moon
