7/11/00 (11 July, 2000 or July 11, 2000) Hi!!!!!!! This is the sixth part, and this is the part I got stuck on for The Final Scout. If you read it, and have any ideas, tell me, please!!! I’ll gladly put your name in my story for credit, if you tell me your name. Thank you!!!! The disclaimers from the previous story apply here. Oh yeah, Saturn’s name is out. It’s Hotaru (hoe-TAR-oo), and it’s not creative at all. So, Saturn will still be Tara, due to the lack of creativeness on the part of whoever is doing the new dubs. A New Princess R: Chapter Six “Can everyone calm down a bit?” asked Daimen. The talking stopped. “Okay, we know that there are twelve major kingdoms, but all the planetary ones, save Earth, are part of the Moon’s court, correct?” “Hey, that’s right!” said Amy. She and Amanda quickly started typing on little computers. “And the Sun had it’s own kingdom, not under any other rule, correct?” said Darien. “So, the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth are three of the major kingdoms for sure,” said Raye. “What about the Starlights?” Mina asked. “Is it possible that their princess is Sailor Star?” “No,” said Amara. “That would mean that she would also be Gaea, remember?” Lita said. Mina just made a little sound. “So, basically, we’re saying the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, and the Stars are the four kingdoms we’re looking for,” said Tara. Dawn nodded in agreement. “I guess.........,” said Tracy. Miranda just shrugged when Tracy looked over to her. “So, what kingdoms were we all princesses of?” asked Marie. “Moon and Sun,” said Serena immediately. “Earth PRINCES,” said the two brothers. “Mercury,” said Amy. “Mercury and Neptune,” said Amanda. “I married a cousin of the royal family there.” “Venus,” said Mina. “Jupiter,” said Lita. “Mars,” Raye answered. “Mars and Saturn,” said Robbi. “Married to one of the princes of the moons.” “Venus and Pluto,” said Marie. “My mother was a princess on Pluto that Father took a liking to.” Mina had a look of disgust on her face. “Jupiter and Uranus,” said Lisa. She made a face. “I had to be married to one of Tracy’s brothers.” “Hey, I’m the same as you. I was stuck marrying one of your brothers too,” said Tracy in retort. They made faces at each other and grinned. “Saturn and Venus,” said Dawn. “Don’t ask, I don’t even know.” “Neptune and Mars,” Miranda sighed out. “Raye and Robbi’s cousin was a pain.” “Pluto and Mercury,” said Claudia. “I never had any desire to find out how that happened.” “Pluto,” said Trista. She smiled. “We’re not from the past,” said Rini, Andi, and Poll. “I think you all know mine,” I answered. “Weren’t you married or anything?” asked Amanda. “Uh-uh! Father and Mother said I couldn’t get married even if I wanted to until Serenity did. And I was glad of that.” Daimen shot me a look. I shot one back. “I wasn’t engaged to you, stupid. I was engaged to some nut from the Stars. I liked him, but I didn’t want to marry him.” “Why not?” asked Claudia, curious about my past suddenly. “Because, for one thing, it didn’t feel right. Plus, his mother wasn’t too happy about it.” “Who’s his mother?” “She was the Queen of the Stars. I think he was a cousin, or something, because his mother was Mother’s sister.” “EWWWW!” exclaimed the myth scouts. “Isn’t that, like, incest?” asked Mina. “Probably, but it was appropriate to marry your cousins back then.” I sighed. “Let’s just say that I hope that if he is reborn, and remembers, he doesn’t want to continue this. Thank Gawd he didn’t like the idea back then either.” Slowly but surely, the conversation moved on to other marriages and engagements from back then. Soon, Daimen and Darien started talking together. They were pretty serious about it, whatever it was. So, I decided to talk to Serena. “Hey, Serena?” I asked. “What’s up?” she asked. “Where’s Travis? I haven’t seen him in a long time. Not since, well, I left, I think.” “Oh, he’s, um, he’s looking at the world, or something. It’s a trip Uncle Jake, you remember him, Darien Jacobson? Anyway, it’s a trip he planned for Travis’ graduation, I think. He mentioned looking for someone, uh, I don’t remember who.” Serena shrugged. “He was supposed to be back with Apollo two weeks before we came here, but he sent a letter from somewhere that he wouldn’t be back for awhile.” “Oh. Do you think that he would answer his communicator?” “Nope. He didn’t bring it, because Uncle Jake’s still wigged out by the fact that his, uh, charge is a Senshi. My parents took it a little better, but I think that was because Rini was still there.” “That’s pretty cool. I haven’t seen my parents in a long time.” I sighed. Daimen suddenly turned and beckoned for me and Serena to join them. We looked at each other and shrugged. As we walked over to join, Claudia and Trista suddenly transformed and disappeared. A lot of “Huh’s?” and “Where are they going’s?” could be heard. “What’s up, Daim?” I asked. “Well, Darien has a theory that he thinks that only you two, plus me, of course. Darien, why don’t you explain?” Daimen gestured to Darien. “Okay, remember earlier when we talking about the kingdoms we’re from? Well, we know that Serena is from the Sun and Moon, and since you, Bunny, are her little sister, you have to be those two also. And, you would have been Princess of the Stars, since you were going to marry that guy, so that makes you have three, right?” Darien looked at me. I had a look of confusion on my face. “Darien, I hate to interrupt, but me and Serena were already related to the Stars, ’cause it our cousin I was going to marry, remember?” I gave him a look. He just nodded. “Anyway, and since you both have a connection to the Earth, because of us, then that makes one of you the Princess we’re looking for.” Darien looked between us. “So, which of you is it?” Darien pointedly seemed to look at me. I looked at Daimen, and he looked guilty. “Daimen?” I asked. He gave me a sheepish look. “Did you tell him something you shouldn’t have?” Before he could answer, Pluto and Chronos showed up. With some extra baggage. “Who’s the kid?” asked Raye. He looked sort of like Darien, same funky hair style anyway, but it was a pale, light purple, and he had blue-violet eyes. “This is Rien,” said Pluto, becoming Trista. Chronos copied her sister. “Rien?!?!?!?” I shrieked. “He’s here already?” “Rien!! I’m so glad to see you!” Rini exclaimed jumping up and giving him a hug. “Rien’s the eldest child of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. He was visiting one of the many planetary kingdoms during the Black Moon attack, otherwise he would have come back sooner.” Claudia grinned in Rien’s direction. It seemed that those two had a special friendship just like Trista and Rini. “We have another kid?!?!?!?!?!?!?” exclaimed Serena. “And it’s a boy?” Darien asked, sounding rather happy about it. “Darien, Serena, meet Rini’s older brother, Prince Endymion Mamoru Darien Tsukino-Chiba,” I said. Trista gave Rini a look when I said that. Rien bowed to his parents, and they both promptly fainted. I started giggling. “That’s not very funny, Aunt Ter- uh, Selene,” said Rien. Rini, Andi, and Poll found that funny. They started giggling. Soon, the five of us were giggling, then Daimen joined us. Everyone else just looked at us like we were in insane. Darien and Serena woke up in a few minutes. “Did I just imagine that we have a son?” Serena asked groggily. “’Fraid not,” said Rien. Darien groaned as he sat up, rubbing his head. “Why don’t you kids-” I started. “I’m fourteen years old. I’m not a kid,” Rien said. “Whatever. I’m only sixteen and I have a fourteen-year-old nephew. Plus a twelve-year-old niece, so don’t mess with me, okay? You four go into the kitchen and play a game or something. Be nice to the younger two, got it Rien?” He nodded, and herded his sister and cousins into the kitchen. “Now, to finish our discussion of earlier, Bunny, Serena, which of you is the Princess we want?” Darien looked at me. I sighed. “Okay, so what if I am? That doesn’t prove jack.” I glared at him. “You’re supposed to know about whatever it is that we’re doing now.” Serena looked at me. “Do you?” “What am I supposed to know? The identities of the new scouts? Who the enemies are? What?” I demanded. I threw up my arms and stormed into the kitchen. “What’s up, Bunny?” asked Rini. “Oh, your stupid Uncle Terran told your father something he shouldn’t have until I said it was okay, and then him and your mother were badgering me for information.” I stormed over to the freezer and fridge and got out some ice cream and syrup. I pulled five bowls out and made five sundaes, gave one to each of the four kids at the table, and kept the biggest one for myself. I saw them all raise their eyebrows and look at each other. “Um, Bunny?” tried Rien. “What do you want?” I asked, intent on my ice cream. “Are you angry?” “What do you think?” “I thought so. You always make sundaes whenever you get angry for anyone who’s around at the time. The freezer is always full of ice cream because of you.” “But I like it!” said Andi. I smiled. Andi was so adorable, I couldn’t stay mad long. After the ice cream was finished, I washed the bowls and spoons as Andi started to nod off. “Bunny?” asked Daimen as he entered the kitchen. “What?” I answered, picking up Andi. “Are you still mad at me?” “You could say that. Look, it’s late, and I’m cranky. Tell everyone to go home so Andi and I can get some sleep. She’s practically asleep as it. And Poll needs to go to bed soon too, and I’m sure Serena and Darien want to visit with their son.” I left the kitchen, still holding Andi. She woke up enough to tell me where her bag was. Luckily, it wasn’t in the living room. I found it, and I helped her change into her pj’s. Then I put her to bed in my room, on the trundle bed thing that came out from under mine. I left the room then. Daimen had managed to get everyone to go home by then. He was busy getting Poll ready for bed when I entered his room. “Did you find the trundle bed?” asked Daimen. I nodded. “Come to the living room when you’re done in here. We need to talk.” I went out, going to the living room, still a bit steamed. Daimen came in a few minutes later. “Why did you tell Darien?” I asked. “What?” Daimen asked, a bit shocked at the outburst. “Why did you tell Darien? Who said that he could know without my permission?” “Um, well, remember when Robbi said that somebody wasn’t telling the whole truth? Well, Darien must have seen something on my face when she said that, and he started questioning me about it. All I told him is that you were of all four major kingdoms. He sort of figured out the explanations himself. He doesn’t know the whole story. As a matter of fact, neither do I.” He added that last sentence to himself. “You don’t?” I asked, surprised. “But, you said you knew.” “I knew the basics. You were a princess of the Moon, Sun, Stars, and Earth. I don’t know how, though.” “But I do,” said a voice at our feet. Artemis jumped up onto my lap. “Let me tell you the story, Daimen. Bunny can fill in as I go.” So, we spent the next hour or so telling Daimen the story. Artemis knew a few things that I didn’t. Like, who the guy from the Stars was - my BROTHER. Now, I didn’t interrupt, but that didn’t sound right at all. After Daimen had heard enough to settle his curiosity, I asked Artemis a few questions of my own. “Artemis, how is it possible that I have a brother in the Stars, but Serena doesn’t? And why was I going to get married to him?” I looked at the cat. “That, I can’t answer. I don’t know myself. The one thing I know for sure is that your father isn’t Serena and Travis’ father. Their father died while Travis grew up on the Moon. As to why there was still a King of the Sun after that, I couldn’t tell you. You’d need to go visit them.” “What do you mean?” “You should go visit your old kingdoms. I know the Moon and Earth are hidden, but the other two I hear are still flourishing under the rule of your guardians.” “My guardians? I thought you were my guardian.” “I’m only one of them. You have, um, at least two others.” “Oh.” I sat there thinking for a few minutes. “Maybe tomorrow I can bring Andi and Poll along with me when we go. Maybe Rini and Rien too. C’mon Artemis. Time for bed.” And we did just that.
