SAILOR ANDROMEDA

       A singular silhouette against dusk, she walked on.  Always against 
the wind. Yes that was her.  Her long silver hair floated behind her. Rosy lips 
decorated her delicate milky white complexion. But the most startling thing 
about this girl was her stormy blue eyes.  They were windows into her soul people 
would tell later to eager listening children. But they would always be wrong. No, 
her eyes masked something. An unknown secret too much for this one lonely girl to 
bear. Almost.

Luna purred happily as Michiru stroked her. With luck Luna wouldn’t have to get 
out of her lap until bedtime. A sudden crash of lightening disrupted that daydream, 
as the sky grew dark with storm clouds. A flash of lightening found both Luna and 
Michiru trembling under a bed.

Sheik sat in her obsidian black throne. Her fingers were tapping nervously on 
the arm of the glorious chair. “Faye come here!” she snapped as if into thin air. 
A swirl of blue and green appeared. After it subsided a woman in robes appeared. 
“Yes my mistress?”  “Would you look at this!” A portal came into being in front of 
Faye. In it was a past scene of a winged angel destroying evil. “I want her and 
any of her friends disposed of. I’m leaving it up to you and your…. creatures. I 
don’t care how you do it! The earth must be unprotected by Midsummer’s Eve.” “Yes 
of course my mistress.”

	A storm slowly grew in size until it covered the whole of Tokyo. Minako 
stared out of the window. She shut the curtains and got into her covers. She 
shivered as she thought how cold it must be outside. She shivered even more as 
she thought of the pouring rain. It had been sunny that day, what changed the 
weather so drastically? “No matter,” she thought, “Tomorrow will be a better day.”
