Sailor Andromeda by Andromeda Chapter 7- TOAST! She felt warm…and strangely contented. She’d never felt this way before and it was new to her. Once she opened her eyes and found her own eyes staring back at her. Except these eyes were light and she could see through to her soul. That wasn’t right. She knew her own soul must be very dark and dreary. Living for a thousand years does that to you. Then she woke up. She felt as though something was definitely missing now. Faye stood up suddenly. (Expecting someone else? *Courts smirks*) “DUKE! Come here.” A swirling mist of color stretched languidly across the floor, finally forming a bulky youma. “Uh, Yeah?” Faye stopped to think for a minute. “Go anywhere you want as long as you get me some energy.” {So I can cure whatever it is I have} she thought. “Um, okay.” Duke disappeared. *** People screamed and the mall was thrown into chaos. Duke was rampaging and gathering energy wherever he went. “STOP RIGHT THERE BUSTER!” a voice came from in front of him. “I will not allow you to do as you please to these young people. Even if the shoppers forgive you I will not!” more voices chorused behind the girl. “To destroy a place of shopping is an unforgivable wrong! In the name of the planet Venus you will be punished!” Another girl in green yelled, “I fight for the planet of storms, in the name of Jupiter you will be punished!” One more looked up from her book. “Oh hi, I’m Mercury.” The one in red whispered to her. “Okay- master of books. Can I read now?” Duke struck a pose and yelled, “Oh yeah? I’m the master of… the master of… hey what am I the master of?” Duke ran for a breakfast parlor and came out with a dish in his hand. “I am the master of TOAST!” he said dramatically. Everyone sweatdropped. “Hey wait a minute I got what Faye needs! I can just leave.” Before he could leave, however… “SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!” And “FIRE SOUL!” came together and formed the most peculiar attack anyone had ever seen. A big cloud of HOT steam got to Duke. “OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OW! That HURT! And my toast is SOGGY now!” Venus shrugged. “VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!” Duke laughed, “STOP IT THAT TICKLES!” Venus looked mortified. “Moon just finish him please!” Sailor Moon powered up and yelled “MOON SPIRAL HEART ACHE” but missed as Duke was called back by Sheik. In his place stood a tall man who put up a shield. “I see her problem. This will be just too easy.” Prince held out a hand and sent the scouts flying. “I’d hope there was at least some challenge, but you make it much too easy for me you know. Faye shouldn’t have sent Duke; he’s just humorous, but not really dangerous. I, however, can do many things.” A glimmer of silver caught his eye. “What now? More nuisances?” However this was more than a nuisance. Prince strained against the power that would have torn through his shields effortlessly. “FAYE? What are you doing?” The attack stopped. “Who is Faye?” The girl was undoubtedly confused. She was younger than Faye too. He was mistaken then. He thought for a minute. He had always fancied Faye. Sheik more, but she did not seem to realize it. He’d just have to settle for Faye’s look-alike. She seemed to guess what he was thinking. “I’m too old for you.” Prince doubted that. He was 500 years old. Without warning a bolt seared his fingers. He turned to see a knight in sparkling white armor behind him. The sailor scout had not been idle either. “BURNING MANDALA! No one kicks me around!” Jupiter shouted, “SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE” and Prince found himself on the losing side of the battle. Sheik called him back, however. “Wait Sheik! I can still win this…” All that was left of Prince faded away. The White Knight was gone. Everyone was confused at this point. The Silver Scout, for once, was not in control. Usagi took control immediately. “Who are you? Hey come back here! Who are you?” The girl hesitated. “If you would leave me alone, you won’t get into any more trouble than you have to. Until I find the moon princess, we must stay separate.” Usagi squirmed at this. “WHAT! I’M THE- mmph!” Mars had kicked her. She had officially taken the matter out of her hands. “Why would you want to find her? I’m sure we can work together in this.” The silver-haired girl gave a grim laugh. “I work alone, never with you. My reasons are my own and as you so obviously keep a secret from me, I cannot give you them.” She suddenly looked closely at them all. She didn’t remember a scout like that. And one looked particularly familiar. Her mask of determination wavered. She looked at her. This wasn’t the time. “FAYE!” It was Prince. Why? Did he fail? “FAYE! Where are you?” He was her equal and could certainly find her. Would find her soon. He didn’t sound happy. “FAYE! Did you by any chance know that you had a look-alike running around messing up the queen’s plans?” Oh boy- did he sound mad. His voice got softer, “You know, I haven’t told her yet. She doesn’t have to know…” What did that tone mean? She knew he was sneaky; he never did something without something in return. “If you perhaps did something for me in return…” He suddenly swept his arm and she was standing still. If he hadn’t caught her off of her guard it wouldn’t have worked. He moved closer and closer. She cringed, or would have if she still could…and he stopped. “No! How are you doing it? You can’t! You’ve lost your power!” She remembered… WOW! What will happen next?(Heck, I don’t know) Anyway sorry it took so long, I’ve been busy with my hyperactive kitten. -Andromeda
