Sailor Andromeda by Andromeda Chapter 3- The Quiet Girl “Hello class, did you have a nice weekend?” asked Ms. Haruna. Everyone groaned. “Very good! We have a new student in class. Her name is Sharantyr.” A girl with a calm face stepped up. Blue eyes fitted into a milky white face with raspberry lips and long, shimmering, silver hair. Immediately every boy’s face snapped up. It seemed all eyes were on her as she took her seat. More would be looking at the girl with those stormy blue eyes in the days to come. ************** It was lunch. It seemed everyone was either gossiping or trying to find a seat next to the new girl. Some of the gossips were mean and were said right in front of Sharantyr, but she had the same calm expression on and seemed to shrug it off. At lunch she read after eating. While Ami was asking Sharantyr about her favorite books, Serena, Molly, and Melvin were telling each other what they had heard of her. “Well I heard that she talked back to teachers and had to be sent here!” Melvin always had the full report. “Nah, I heard she got tired of everyone asking her out and moved!” Molly replied. “Well… I… heard… nothing.” Serena said glumly. “That’s cause you hear everything from us!” Molly said with a giggle. “Oh yeah…” *************** Sharantyr left the room in a hurry. Something was happening and she wasn’t there to stop it. It could mean trouble for the Sailor Scouts, they couldn’t fight the evil as well as she. She remembered why she was here, and she hated it. One day she would wake up and it would all be gone. That was all she could hope for. For now she had to do what fate had thrown upon her. So she left for the lake and hoped for everyone else’s sake that she wasn’t too late. **************** Mercury fought with her own element. A water creature flexed and bent. Her videophone was broken, she couldn’t call the others. Serena was probably trying to choke her brother, Sammy, by now. She was weakening. Her ice attacks didn’t freeze it; she couldn’t cut it or surround it with ice. Her visor showed that its only weak point was heat. Very early in the battle when Mars was with her, someone had made very sure that Mars was taken out first. The sun was covered by storm clouds too. Unless help came soon this could be her last battle. Unless she was mistaken, her visor now read of another major power coming from behind her. Of neither positive nor negative energy. No she must be mistaken, it was both together! Just as she went down she saw a silver glimmer and heard a crash of water. Then silence and blackness as oblivion claimed her. Cleansing energy was the only sign she had awakened. Ami was not transformed, and her wounds had gone. The rest had better hear about this.
