SAILOR ANDROMEDA By Andromeda Chapter 1- Scout of the Stars Faye was afraid. More afraid than she’d ever been. For underneath her loyalty lie a burning hatred for her mistress. She had been watching Sailor Moon grow for years and said nothing, hoping that the angel of light would somehow destroy Sheik and leave the Dark Throne open. She had been asked to kill that which she relied on. No, she wasn’t good. Quite to the contrary, she was as evil as any came. But that light which she dreaded so much could be used to her advantage. Instead of an all out open attack then, she would take over without any knowing. Slowly. And she would win. A spirit assured her of that. It called itself the Negaforce. A nagging in the back of her mind sent her magic to a certain school in Tokyo called Crossroads Junior High. Something then interfered, though. “You will not spy anymore!” came a voice through the crystal. She’d heard that voice before, long ago. *****flashback***** “Why do you tremble so princess?” a voice cackled sarcastically. “I won’t take your soul, just your life! Though such a disappointment on my part.” “Stay away from her Beryl! She is the imperial princess of the Silver Millenium!” A young man stepped out in front of a shaking Princess Serenity. “Leave now before lasting damage is done!” “But that is what I intended!” she shrieked as bolts of lightening flew from her fingers to the prince and princess in front of her. Both fell before the onslaught, still clasping hands. Meanwhile an unseen figure raced for her life, time was running out. Silver hair streamed behind her as she ran for the spark of life she still held to be kept burning. On and on the trail went. Faye was watching all of this from her vantage point in the trees. She had been working for Beryl then. Faye appeared in front of the running figure. “My, my, a little hasty aren’t we, hmmm? I think you’ll be staying right here.” “Don’t keep me, I’m in a hurry!” the maiden said as she raced down the path faster and faster still. “Now see here, child! You’re not going anywhere, do you hear!” Faye swooped down in front of her and held out a hand to stop her. *****End of flashback ***** She still had a scar from that day. She now wondered where the young woman was going that fateful day of Beryl’s first defeat. She would never get in that short-tempered girl’s way again. That was why she stopped looking into her crystal ball. That was why her plans were in shambles. That was why she was afraid to report that she wouldn’t do what her mistress said. Who was she more afraid of? A voice that seemed vaguely familiar or a threat that she knew existed? She would do the task. ********** Setsuna watched all of this from the time gate. She hated that she couldn’t leave to help. She couldn’t even warn them. Time is the last Taboo. She wasn’t allowed to reveal any more of the future. She had a feeling they wouldn’t want to know either. She was helpless. The worst thing would be to have to watch what was to come. *********** Balor slid through the shadows of the back alleyway. The sooner he got out the better! He would do what Faye ordered of him. Who was this child that so threatened Sheik’s plans? No time for that now. Here was the house described to him. Another time perhaps he may have banged through the door, but he was ordered to keep quiet. Wait a minute. He didn’t have to go into the domain. He could draw the human out. Instead of going to the house he went to the park. He started flying above the green trees and shimmering ponds. While flying, he let loose his special power, sleep. If this wasn’t quiet he didn’t know what was. As the fine powder withdrew, he flew lower to the ground. With the most grace possible he settled down into a tree. To wait. To watch. *********** “Usagi! Wake up!” Luna yelled. “There’s an emergency. It’s a new enemy!” Serena distantly heard the voice. “Hmm, What? Luna what new enemy? We killed them all!” Usagi sleepily replied. “Okay, okay, I’ll get up.” Serena slowly rose from the bed in her pajamas. “Hey why get dressed at all?” she said to herself as she started towards the dresser. “MOON CRISIS POWER MAKEUP!” colors swirled around her as she transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon. Once she was transformed she felt more awakened. “What, WHAT DID YOU SAY LUNA!?” Of course they wasted no time getting to the park falling perfectly in coordination with the fiend’s plans. ***********
