Kenpo Belt Order (pictures below text):
Below is the belt order. Each belt (excluding white) requires that you pass a belt-test. Some dojo's require a certain amount of time at each belt before you may test for the next one.
You may also notice one major omission. There are different levels of brown-belt (typically three), as well as ten different degrees of black belt. The levels of brown belt are indicated by black tabs on the end of the belt. Where as the different degrees of black belt are indicated by red tabs also on the ends of the belt.
Some dojo's also include different level's of color belts.
