Disclaimer: Ranma 1/2 does NOT belong to me. I'm just borrowing them for a little fun. The story and Sakira Saotome in there does belong to me so don't take them. This story is dedicated to Sakira Saotome who is my best friend at school. Read her stories! They are good! Cherry Blossom Light Part 3: Unleashed Powers By: Silver Star "Aaaaaaahhhh!!" Sakira screamed as she fell out the broken window after the creature's second attack. She could feel herself falling down toward the ground below her. She didn't know why but she closed her eyes and felt relaxed instead of frightened. Suddenly, her eyes snapped open and it wasn't blue anymore. Her eyes are glowing solid gold. She did a half flip in mid-air and two wings, one black and one white, spread out from her back. She landed gracefully and her wings folded itself onto her back and disappeared again. She looked up and jumped away just in time as the creature landed heavily onto the spot she was standing at before. "What the-?!" Ranma exclaimed in dead surprise at the sight of Sakira and a monster facing each other one-on-one. He was about to go out to confront the monster when Genma, in his human form, stopped him. "No. Let them fight." Genma said quietly, staring at the two unmoving forms of Sakira and the Clone. Ranma nodded reluctantly and then turned to watch the battle within the safety of the shadows. Sakira stared at the clone unmoving. Her nightshirt suddenly disappeared and only to be replaced by a pure white Chinese shirt with gold designs of a Chinese dragon and white Chinese pants. A solid gold cuff appeared on each of her wrist and a complex designed golden choker with a gold dragon attached to it appeared on her neck. Her hair was pulled back into a braid with a gold ribbon. Two lock of her hair was left down, framing her face. The creature watched her every move with blood-red eyes, tail twitching behind it. It suddenly snarled and lunged toward Sakira in an inhuman speed. Sakira leapt away just in time and landed on the opposite side from the creature. "Come on, little girl." It snarled out in a high pitched voice. "Don't be scared. I won't kill you." It lung toward Sakira again but she avoid it easily. "You are the one aren't you?" Sakira asked softly, gritting her teeth. "You are the one who tried to kill me!" She said, voice growing louder by the second. "You cloned my father!!!!" She screamed and lunged. She did a kick and then a punch and the creature easily dodged it, laughing all the while. "So what if I am?" It asked, dodging a knee-kick. "Then you won't live to the day to get your pay." Sakira whispered. "Cherry Blossom...DRAGON!!!" She screamed. A blinding light pierced the darkness of the night that Ranma and Genma had to shield their eyes. When they opened their eyes again, Sakira was standing alone in the yard. A pile of ash was in the clone's place. Then, just as sudden as it came, the white and gold outfit was gone and Sakira was in her nightshirt again. Then, she fainted on the spot. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Allen's piercing ice-blue eyes narrowed again as he watched the finish of the battle in a dark, shadowed corner of the yard. "Impressive isn't it, Lady Death?" He asked softly. A dark form materialized beside him in the shadow. "Yes, my Lord." She said. "Do you think you can take her on?" Allen asked absentmindedly, crossing his arms as he watched Ranma and Genma carried the fainted Sakira inside. "I'm pretty sure I can, my Lord." "But the question is, can you win?" "Perhaps...perhaps not. Time will tell, my Lord." "Yes, time will tell." With one final smirk, Allen disappeared into the darkness. Then, for a split second, the Lady of Death was washed in the moonlight. Akane. She smirked and then, disappeared. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "Akane...no..." ~~~~~~~~~~~ "You knew what's going on didn't you?" Ranma asked, narrowing his eyes as he stared at his silent father. "Where did that youma came from? And why is Sakira fighting it?" Ranma kept on asking questions after questions as he paced in front of his father but Genma didn't move from his meditating position on the center of the dojo, nor did he open his eyes. "You have some explaining to do." "Yes. I suppose I do." Genma said quietly, eyes still closed. "Sit down Ranma," he said, "and I'll tell you the rest." "The rest of what?" Ranma asked angrily at the fact that his father kept so much important things from him and sat down crossed legged onto the dojo floor in front of Genma. "The rest of...truth, I guess you could call it." Genma replied in an even tone, not wavered by Ranma's anger. "Now where should we start?" "Beginning would be wonderful." Ranma muttered. "The beginning." Genma sighed. "It would not be easy since you do not remember the past, the life before Sakira disappeared. But I will try. As you know, Sakira is your twin sister." Ranma nodded silently. "But there are things that you DON'T know. Like..." "Like what?" "Like the fact that Sakira had incredible powers. Ever since the first moment she breathed, I could sense the strange powers inside her. It was the most powerful thing I've ever felt. It's like swimming against the powerful currents of the ocean. No. It's much, much more powerful than that. "You've probably heard Sakira saying that I've never liked her. That's not true. I love her just as I loved you. But the fact that she has more power than the other kids makes everything very complicated and worse. "She used to ran inside crying that the older kids bullied her because she's strange. I know that if I keep on comforting her, she'll take me for granted and once I die, she'll fall completely apart. That's why I decided that I have to be harder on her like she's an older boy. "That's also why I decided on taking both of you on a training trip. It can help train the both of you and Sakira can get away from everybody. "As she said, I left you two in the forest with only sleeping and cooking stuff. I don't know what happened while I was away but when I came back to get you two, you were the only one there. "You were very protective of your little sister back then and when you finally realized that she must have died, you went into a mental death and when you came to, you have no memories of Sakira whatsoever. "Since you don't remember her and she's already dead, me and your mother decided to never mention her name. And that's when she threatened me that if I don't bring back you as a man, she'll kill me. "As for me, well, I continued with you onto the training trip and since Sakira's dead, I gave everything to you. Including the incident with the cats." Genma sighed. "What about the fiancée thing?" Ranma asked. "Did you and Soun made a tie for Sakira, too?" Genma sighed again. "No we didn't. We made the tie before you were born. I didn't even know that you have a twin until the day you two were born. It's just so sudden." "What about that youma? Who send it? Why is it after her?" "I don't know about the youma and who send it. But I'm pretty sure why it's after Sakira. Somebody send it to get Sakira's powers. "And I'm pretty sure that, that youma is the one who cloned me and left Sakira in the forest. Whoever send it know very well of the powers inside Sakira and is planning to either feed on it or strip it off of Sakira." Unexpectedly, Genma stood up and walked to the door. Ranma looked on, surprised. "Pop?" He called out tentively. It's so unlike his usual careless father that he's used to. This one is so serious. Genma turned his head slightly and looked at Ranma through his serious eyes. "Ranma, promise me one thing." Ranma stared at him, too surprised to speak. "Promise me that you won't let them take Sakira. Promise me just that one thing, Ranma. Promise me." But before Ranma could answer, he turned and was out, leaving the confused Ranma behind on the dojo floor. Ranma stood up slowly and he looked out the open door and out toward the darkness of the night. "I promise, father." He said softly. "I promise." ~~~~~~~~~~~ To be continued... ~~~~~~~~~~~ So what do ya think? Good? Bad? Suggestions? Comments?
