i have had a good day. i've read back over some of my past entries and have seen how much energy i've spent talking about my finances. i'm only frustrated when i think about them. there's so much other stuff in my life that i need to focus on.

i put this on my site last night. right now i'm comfortable with having my journal on my site. if that changes, i'll make changes.

the breakfast club is on. it's such a profound movie. even though it's over a decade old, it's still speaks so much about social interaction. it's one of my faves of all time.

saw the grinch with mom yesterday. i enjoyed it. she's on this kick with fleece. we went to i. goldberg and she bought up all the fleece she could find. i don't know if this is the beginning of a much larger problem. *winx*

i'm getting ready for my evening tomorrow night. i want to look elegant and classy. i have a midnight blue velour dress that i'm wearing. a necklace of pearls. i've decided to do my nails in flourescent orange. i can't give up my "dandelion" style altogether.

i still don't know how i got invited to this whole event. it's at the grand opera house and seems like quite a big deal. no one knows what i'm talking about when i mention it. my dad's my date. i'm trying to think of how i can pin my dreds up in the back. it'll look cool if i can pull it off.

i'm excited!!! =)
