When Ami first appeared, the other students in Serena's class, believed she had gotten kicked out of a private school for geniuses. Serena refused to believe it and took Amy to the video arcade, so that they could play video games (and so Serena could see Andrew). After playing video games for a while, Amy realized she was going to be late for her computer class. She rushed off, forgetting her disk at the arcade.

Luna was catious of Amy, because she was getting some strange vibes from her, and wanted to look at what was on Amy's disk. Serena refused, not wanting to invade her new friends privacy, and scolded Luna for not wanting Serena to have any friends.

After much arguement Serena agreed to look at what was on Amy's disk, just to prove that Amy was not from the Negaverse. Much to Serena's surpise, the disk was from the Negaverse, and they rushed over to Amy's computer school.

When they arrived a monster was draining the energy out of Amy, and Luna noticed the sign of Mercury on Amy's forehead. Luna then threw Amy her transformation pen and told her to say "Mercury Power!". Amy, seeing no other way out did as she was told, and transformed into Sailor Mercury.

Mercury Power! and Mercury Star Power!: Amy says one of these phrases to transform into Sailor Mercury.

Mercury Bubbles Blast! (Shabbon Spray): Sailor Mercury says this to create a mist like fog, that confuses enemies and makes them more prone to attack. It was used as a shield once, and against Evil Prince Darien as an attack.

Mercury Ice Bubbles Freeze! (Shabbon Spray Freezing): Sailor Mercury says this to freeze an enemy in bubbles.

Mercury Ice Strom Blast! (Shine Aqua Illusion): Sailor Mercury says this to use a blast of ice crystals, this will usually freeze an enemy.

Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!: Her main attack as Super Sailor Mercury.

Mercury's Computer: Though not an attack, certinaly a powerful tool. It can give readouts on a monster's strengths and weaknesses.

Mercury's VR Visor: Another very important tool, though not an attack. The visor helps avoid hidden traps and illusions. To activate she uses one of her earrings (as Super Sailor Mercury, she has three earrings on each ear).
