Cell Saga They all start heading out, Bulma towards home, Trunks and Gohan towards the Kame House. We see Numer 18 shopping, stealing some clothes she tried on. Some cops chase them but 18 quickly take them out. Then on Karin Tower, Kami is terrifired. He senses a monster. Bulma is listening to the radio, and there is a report about people mysteriously disappearing in the West Capital, the place where they just discovered the shed skin. She calls Kurilin, and she tells him to put on a TV station, where it is being reported that all people are missing, and clothes are just left lying on the ground. They see a reporter shocked, then the screen go fuzzy. On Karin Tower, Kami tells Piccolo it's time to fuse, and they can't let there be any more victims. They fuse, and head out for the West Capital. Trunks also heads out towards the monster. Piccolo is in the city we just saw on the TV report, and sees the monster. He is shocked and confused by the monsters ki. The monster is standing over some guy, who begs Piccolo to save him. Piccolo tells him to leave the man alone. The monster driver his spike-like tail intothe mans back, and the man basically dissolves. The monster then says "Your next, Piccolo!". Piccolo is extremly surprised that the monster knows his name. At the Kame House, everyone is in shock. Gohan says he feels his father, and Freeza's ki. Trunks feels Piccolo and Vegeta's ki. Yamucha tells them it's impossible, Gokou's in the house, and Freeza is dead. Trunks and Kurilin head out towards the battle. Trunks feel another huge power, but Kurilin recognizes that as Piccolo fused with Kami. PIccolo begins fighting the monster, confident that he is stronger. That androids notice the fight, and 17 and 18 are scared when 16 tells them that one of those powers could fight them on equal terms, but they just look at it as a mistake, saying it's impossible. Piccolo thinks he can beat the monster, so he starts talking trash. The monster then, to Piccolo's surprise, startes charging a kamehameha. Piccolo dodges the blast but is grabbed. The monster stabs Piccolo in the arm, attempting to absorb him, but Piccolo swings back his head, nailing the monster focing him to release his hold. Piccolo's arm is now deflated. Piccolo says to tell him whats going on, since he can't win with one arm. The monster aggrees and says his name is Cell. He was created by Dr. Gero using the genes of Freeza, Gokou, Piccolo, Nappa, King Kold and Vegeta. He reveals his whole story, telling Piccolo that he needs to absorb 17 and 18 to acheive his perfect form. He only tells him this, because he knows he can kill Piccolo since he has only one arm. But then Piccolo regenerates his arm, making a jackass of Cell. Trunks and Kurilin arrive. They talk, and Cell learns that Gokou is alive. Cell than uses a Taiyoken, blinding them, and high tails it outta there. He lowers his power so he can't be found. Vegeta flies right over his head headed for Piccolo. Vegeta is shocked and jealous at Piccolo's huge power, and is very pissed that Piccolo became so strong so quickly. Tenshinhan arrives, and Piccolo explains the story about Cell. Vegeta is really pissed now, and tells everyone he going to surpass super saiya-jin, and takes off fast, leaving everyone wondering is it is possible. Kurilin and Trunks head off to Gero's lab, to destroy the present times Cell thats baking. While they're there Trunks grabs the blueprints for 17, so he can give them to his mother to find out if they have any weaknesses. He and Kurilin destroy the lab, and Trunks heads out to train with his father, and Kurilin takes the blueprints to Bulma. Two days pass, and everyone is a Kame House watching a news report, talking about more absorbed people. They head out in a ship so they can't be felt by Cell. Back at the ranch, Gokou finally wakes up! He gets dressed tells Chi Chi and Muten Roshi he's going to surpass super saiya-jin. He teleports into the ship everyone is searching for Cell in. He takes Gohan, they go get Vegeta and Trunks and head for the Room of Spirit and Time, a place on Karin Tower where a years training can be done in one day. Trunks and Vegeta go in first. Meanwhile, Piccolo and the others in the ship are still searching for Cell, who is just hopping towns absorbing everyone he comes across. Almost a day later, everyone's back at Kame house. Piccolo is watching TV, and the others are sleeping when 16, 17, 18 arrive. Piccolo brings them over to an abondoned island so he can fight them. Piccolo is now getting ready to fight 17. 17 is still confident, since he can't feel Piccolo's new, greater power. Piccolo powers up, and 16 immediately notices it's not Piccolo. This confueses 17, as Piccolo nails him in the back of the head. Piccolo then kicks him in the face, sends a blast his way, which 17 dodges. Gokou and Gohan, on Karin Tower, realize that Piccolo has began fighting a cyborg. Piccolo send up hundreds of energy balls, and they surround 17. he sends the blasts towards 17, and there is a huge explosion, that destroys the island they were fighting on. 17 is not hurt though, be formed a barrier around himself. Cell feels Piccolo's power, and realizes he must by fighting the androids. Cell has now surpassed the androids from the thousands of people he's absorbed, and heads for them. Piccolo and 17 start fighting again, and it's even for the most part. Bulma calls Kurilin and tell him she made a remote control that will destroy the androids. She heads out to bring it over, and Kurilin goes to meet her halfway. Piccolo and 17 are still pretty even, when Cell arrives. Cell starts walking towards 17, and dares Piccolo to fight him, but Piccolo isn't that stupid, he knows he can't win. Tenshinhan foolishly heads for the island to help Piccolo. 17, being the cocky idiot he is, tell Cell to go away, and isn't worried at all. Piccolo warns 17 to get away, Cell wants to absorb him. Cell tries to get 17, but he avoids him, and Piccolo kicks Cell away. Now Piccolo is going to fight the newly powered up Cell. Needless to say, Piccolo gets the living ass beaten out of him. He charges a huge blast, a gekiritskodan, or something along those lines(damn complicated japanese names) and fires it. 18 thinks he won, but 16 tells her it didn't even phase Cell. Cell comes up, and kills Piccolo. 16 tells 18 to run away, and that its time for him to fight. 16 heads for Cell while he's beating the hell out of 17. Cell just about absorb 17 him, when 16 clocks him in his stupid face. 16 thinks he's equal power with Cell, so he heads towards him, Cell knocks him down and tries to absorb him. He puts his tail into his neck, but realizes 16 is fully robotic. 16 grabs his tail and rips it off, ending Cell's plans of world domination. NO. Since he has Namek blood in him, he regenerates it. 16 shoots his fist at Cell, nailing him, he grabs his fist back and reattaches it. He punches him again to the ground, picks him up and slams his to the ground, hard making a crater. He removes both of his fists, points his arms towards Cell, and screams "HELL'S FLASH!". The blast is huge, and causes a lot of damage to the island. 16 reminds 18 that she has to leave, but she thinks everythings okay, since Cell has been defeated. 16 screams at her, telling her that Cell is just hurt. He then tells 17 to run. 17 thinks that since Cell is hurt, he can finish him off himself. Cell pops up behind 17, and absorbs him. 16 tells 18 and Tenshinhan to leave. Cell is now looking stronger, and more human. 16 grabs 18 and tries to escape, but is stopped by a much faster Cell. Meanwhile, Tenshihan wonders to himself what he'll do. He then says "I'm sorry Choutzu, I think I might die". Elsewhere, 16 punches Cell in the face, but it doesn't phase him one bit. Cell blasts him in the face, sending him flying back. Cell heads for 18. He speaks in 17's voice to persuade 18 to allow herself to be absorbed, but she realizes he's full of shit. Then Cell looks up, and Ten is up in the air powering up. He uses a Shin(new) Kikoho and hits Cell, and he keeps pumping more power at him. Gokou, from Karin Tower, warns Ten to stop or he'll die. 18 is taking 16 to leave with her. Ten finally stops the blast, and falls to the ground, lifeless. Cell realizes 18 escaped, and decides to vaporize Ten. He's about, but Gokou appears in front of him and saves him. Then, very surprised, he senses that Piccolo is still slightly alive! He grabs Piccolo, and Ten and teleports back to Karin Tower. Cell starts his search for 18. Kurilin finally meets up with Bulma, and gets the remote control that will destroy the androids. Bulma tells him he has to be within 10 meters of them. He heads off towards 18, and Bulma takes off to Kami's Palace with armor for everyone. Up there, Trunks and Vegeta come out of the Room of Spirit and Time. Bulma arrives and gives them the armor, and Trunks, Gokou and Gohan put it on. Vegeta and Trunks head out for Cell, and Gokou and Gohan enter the Room of Spirit and Time. Cell is still looking for 18, and he comes across a series of islands. He starts blowing them up, and he's about to blow up the one 18 is on ,but Vegeta shows up just in time. Vegeta tells Cell he's going to rip him to shreds. Trunks arrives. Vegeta starts powering up, and Cell isn't worried at all. Now we see Gohan and Gokou in the Room of Spirit and Time. Gokou's explaining the room to Gohan, and he tells him he has to become a super saiyan. Back in the fighting, Vegeta is still powering up. He finishes, and punches Cell in the stomach, hard. Vegeta get some more nice hits in, and basically Cell can't compare to him. Cell powers up, and thinks he can win now. He punches Vegeta in the face with all his power, but Vegeta isn't hurt at all. Now Vegeta really beats his ass in. Cell makes a remark about his perfect form. Vegeta is interested, since he wants to fight a really strong opponent. He tells Cell to go ahead and make his perfect form. Meanwhile, Kurilin is debating with himself whether or not to use the controller to destroy 18 or not. He decides not to. He crushes the controller. Cell is flying away to get 18, but Trunks stops him. He can't allow it. Vegeta warns Trunks to stay out of it. Cell looks down and spots 18. He heads for her, Trunks chases after him, but Vegeta kicks Trunks in the back, to keep him out of it. Trunks aims up at his father, vowing he could not let Cell become perfect, even if it meant fighting his father. Vegeta smirks, knowing Trunks would never shoot at his own father. Trunks fires away, hitting Vegeta. Cell blinds everyone with a Taiyoken. He absorbs 18. Trunks attacks him during the transformation, but it does nothing. Then, the shit hit the fan, and Cell acheived his perfect form. Back in the Room of Spirit and Time, Gohan goes super saiya-jin! It's pretty crappy the way he does it in the manga, but it's cool in the series. He only stays is SSJ mode for a couple seconds though. Gokou decides they'll take a break, and give Gohan a haircut. Now we see Perfect Cell for the first time. Kurilin is pissed that he absorbed 18, so he attacks Cell. Kurilin gets one kick in the face, and is extremely close to death. Trunks feeds him a senzu. Even though Kurilin is nothing compared to Vegeta or Trunks, he still can sense the powers, and he knows Vegeta can't win. He also knows that Trunks is stronger than Vegeta, but he's holding back because he doesn't want to make his father angry. Vegeta and Cell start fighting, and Vegeta can't touch him. Vegeta knows Cell isn't even trying, and he tells him to use his full power. Cell comes at him, Vegeta gets a couple harmless kicks in, before Cell kicks him hard in the face. Kurilin tells Trunks to help, but Trunks decides to wait for Vegeta to get knocked out. Vegeta starts powering up a huge blast. He challenges Cell to take the hit head on. Kurilin wonders if he would really use an attack like that on the Earth's surface. Trunks begs his father not to fire, the blast would destroy the Earth. "FINAL FLASH!" Vegeta yealls as he fires his huge blast. Cell is scared shitless when he sees the blast. The smoke clears, the Earth wasn't destroyed, but half Cells body is torn off. Everyone is thrilled, but Cell reminds them about Piccolo's blood, and he regenerates himself. Vegeta is pissed now. Cell heads for him and Vegeta starts firing a lot of blasts, right at him, and Cell walks right through them, and punches Vegeta, sending him flying back. He flies after him, gives a few more hits, then a real strong elbow to the back. He's out cold, and Cell is getting ready to kill him. Trunks powers up to Ultimate Super Saiya-jin. Kurilin takes off to Kame House with Vegeta. Trunks is now really buffed up. Cell tells that Trunks is stronger, but he'll never beat him. In the Room of Spirit and Time, Gohan is training very hard, and Gokou is concentrating on beyond SSJ. Gokou stands up and goes SSJ. He then powers up more and buffs up really big, like Trunks. Gokou also reached Ultimate SSJ. Back in the fight, Trunks is swinging at Cell every which way but can't touch him. Gokou realizes he can't beat Cell in USSJ because it slows him down way to much. He decides he and Gohan will stay in SSJ mode at all times so they can get used to it, and eliminate any nervousness they feel while a Super Saiyan. Back in the battle, Trunks realizes he can't win. He reverts back to normal mode and tells Cell to kill him. Cell asks him how he got so strong so quickly. Trunks refuses to answer. Cell asks if he had more time, could he get even stronger? Trunks says yes. Cell brings up the idea of a fighting torunament, with him as the only opponent. Tunks leaves. Cell finds a good abondoned area and puts together a ring, and makes an announcement on TV about the Cell Game, 10 days away. Up at Kami's Palace Gohan and Gokou exit the Room of Spirit and Time as Super Saiyans. Gokou puts his old clothes on, and Piccolo gives Gohan clothes just like his. Trunks explains the whole story to them, about Perfect Cell. Vegetsa asks Gokou if he could defeat Cell, and Gokou doesn't know, so he teleports off to get a look at Perfect Cell for himself. They talk a litte, Gokou says "Let's hope no one get's killed, eh?" and leaves. He's back on top of Karin Tower with the others, and is surprised at Cell's strength, but he isn't worried. Everyone tells him he can go back into the room, but to the shock of everyone, Gokou refuses. He says it's better to rest, and tells Vegeta he can go in if he wants. Vegeta takes offense to this, and asks "Are you trying to imply your stronger than me?" and Gokou responds "As a matter of fact, I am", which pisses off Vegeta big time. Gokou and Gohan leave, making a stop at Karin's house. Gokou asks Karin to compare his ki to Cell, and Gokou powers up. Everyone up on Kame's palace is shocked at Gokou's power, and he says it's only half. Karin tells Gokou that even with that much power, Cell will still beat him. Gokou bas a big smile, and thanks Karin, which confuses Gohan. Everyone is surprised at Gokou's confidence.They leave and head for Kame House to get Chi Chi. Now Gokou, Gohan and Chi Chi, are out having a picnic. On the drive home, they hear on the radio about the army attacking Cell. Gokou is pissed, he knows they are just going to die. The army fires everything they got, and Cell is untouched, and destroys the entire army. Gokou gets out of the car, and teleports to Kami's Palace. He asks Piccolo if he could split up into Kami and Piccolo again, but Piccolo says it's impossible. Gokou has an idea to go to New Namek, and get another Namek-seijin to become the God of Earth. Gokou teleports to Kaiosama, and then to Namek. The Namek Elder, Moori, volunteers Dende for the job. Gokou takes Dende and telports back to Kaiosama's, then to Earth. On TV, Yamucha and Kurilin are watching a guy named Mr. Satan who announces he's entering the Cell Game, because he thinks he's the martial arts champion. Gokou teleports to Kame House, gets Kurilin and Gohan, to meet their old friend. Dende then reactivates the dragonballs. Gokou tells Gohan to stay up there with Dende, and that he's trained enough. During the next days, everyone keeps just focuses on the battle, and Gokou searches for the dragonballs.
The day of the Cell Game finally comes, and everyone meets up on Karin Tower, except Vegeta, who's already on his way. The first one to arrive at the scene is...Mr. Satan. The jackasses of Earth think Satan really can win. There is a news crew there, and the reporter interviews Mr Satan. Satan talks about how he's going to win, blah blah blah. Then Vegeta flies in, and the reporter noticed that he actually flew, but Satan says it's just a trick. The reporter tries to interview Vegeta, but Vegeta tells him to go away. Satan makes a comment about how Vegeta is just getting in the way. 16, who has been repaired by Bulma and her father, lands too. Then come to other Z fighters. Ten, Gohan, Gokou, Piccolo, Yamucha, Trunks, and Kurilin. Gokou volunteers to start things off, and Satan yells at him. The reporter thinks they're stupid for coming, that they don't realize whats going on. Kurilin makes a remark about how they're the ones who are clueless. They allow Satan to fight first. Satan gets beat up, obviously. Gokou now steps in. He and Cell start fighting fast, and pretty even for the most part. Gokou fires a Kamehameha, Cell bats it away, but gets punched in the back. Cell gets pissed and then punches Gokou to the ground. They agree the warmups are over, and the real fight will begin. Gokou powers up, and everyone is surprised and impressed, except Gohan. Cell powers up too, and they start fighting again. Gokou gets 3 or 4 good shots in and Cell starts charging a Kamehameha. Gokou warns him that if he uses a Kamehameha when he's that powered up, he'll destroy the Earth, so Gokou jumps up in the air, and teleports out of the way of the kamehameha. He teleports right behind Cell, and kicks him in the back, sending him flying. Cell looks worried now, but Gokou is calm. They talk a little, then Cell attacks. Cell gets some nice hits on Gokou, and starts winning the fight. Up in the air Cell fires a blast, that destroys the ring so niether of them could loser by falling out of the ring. They fight some more and Gokou jumps into the air and charges a Kamehameha. Cell knows he won't fire it because he'll destroy the Earth, but Gokou keeps charging it. Just when everyone thinks Gokou's going to destroy the Earth with his full-powered Kamehameha, he teleports down right in front of Cell and fires from a foot away. Cell is now missing his head and both arms. Gokou really blew the shit out of him. Yamucha thinks they've won, but the others know Cell can regenerate. Cell forms himself again. They start fighting again, and Gokou realizes he can't win. So then Gokou yells up to Cell 2 words no one ever expected Gokou to say. "I give!". Everyone is apalled. Gokou says he is going to choose the next opponent for Cell, the warrior who has surpassed Son Gokou. Everyone is confused. Who could be stronger than Gokou? Gokou then says "It's your turn, Gohan!" to the shock of everyone. They talk a little, and Gohan goes over to fight Cell. Gokou asks Kurilin for a senzu, he gives it to him, and Gokou THROWS IT TO CELL. Gokou says he wants the fight to be fair. Cell eats the senzu, and powers up, as does Gohan. Gohans power inpresses everyone, including Cell. They start fighting, and Gohan is losing pretty bad. Cell tells Gokou to end the joke, and to eat a senzu and come back and fight. Gokou tells Cel to look behind him, and there is Gohan, not hurt at all. Gohan realizes his father wanted him to fight because he knows when Gohan gets angry, he becomes incredibley powerful. Gohan tells Cell that he doesn't enjoy fighting the way his father does. Cell then starts kicking the crap out of Son Gohan to make him mad, but Gohan kicks Cell across his head knocking him back. Cell tells Gohan that he is going to do whatever it takes to make him mad. He grabs Gohan and squeezes him in a bear hug. He drops him, realizing Gohan won't get mad at his own pain. So he heads for his friends. "STOP IT!" Gohan pleads. Cell snatches the senzus away from Kurilin. But then out of nowhere, number 16 grabs him. He tells Cell he's going to self destruct, and take Cell with him. He tries, but nothing happens. Kurilin tells him that when he was being fixed at capsule corp, they removed the bomb. Cell blast 16 into little pieces. Cell starts counting the Z soldiers. He counts 7, and then he spits out 7 miniature, incredibley strong, blue versions of himself. The Cell Jrs attack the Z soldiers, and beat the living shit out of them. The only ones who can fight back at all are Vegeta and Trunks, but they are still losing. No one stands a chance against them. Gohan wants to get mad...he wants to kill Cell. Then the icing on the cake, Cell tells the Cell Jrs to stop toying with the fighters, and to kill them all. Meanwhile, 16's head is still able to talk. He tells Satan to throw him over to Gohan, he does and 16 starts talking to Gohan. He tells him it's okay to fight for good, and to release his anger. When Cell crushes 16's head, that's the final straw. Gohan goes ape shit. He lets out a god awful scream, and powers up big time. Everyone sees Gohan, and is shocked. Son Gohan, has gone beyond Super Saiya-jin, beyond USSJ...Son Gohan is now a Super Saiya-jin level 2. Gohan tells Cell he is going to pay for everything he did. He marches straight up to Cell and takes the senzus. He flies over to Kurilin. The Cell Jr. tries to attack, but Gohan smacks his stupid little head off. No the rest of the Cell Jrs attack, and Gohan effortlessly rips them to shreds. One of them tries to escape, but is cut off and destroyed quickly. Gohan throws the senzus to Trunks, and tells him to give them to everyone. Gohan goes down to Cell, and tells he's going to defeat him. Cell still thinks he can win, and powers up to his absolute full power. Gohan isn't the least bit impressed, worried or nervous. Cell attacks. He punches Gohan across the face, full power, and Gohan isn't hurt one bit. Now Gohan hands Cell his ass. He nails him in the stomach. Cell is in a lot of pain, and Gohan uppercuts him right in the jaw. Gohan now kicks Cell across his face, sending him sailing back. Cell is now truly terrified. He has a plan though. He jumps into the air and starts powering up a Kamehameha to fire at Gohan. If Gohan dodges, it will destroy the Earth. Gohan stand there looking up at him, expressionless. He is not worried one bit. Cell fires a huge blast and at the last second, Gohan fires a blast to, much more powerful, and it rips apart Cell. Cell is now truly pissed. He regenerates himself and powers up to the really buff form he showed Trunks earlier. Gokou tells Gohan to finish him off, but Gohan refuses, saying Cell must suffer more. Cell is now huge, and attacks Gohan, but is too slow and can't touch him. Gohan kicks him in the face, and Cell is really hurting now. Cell now barfs up Number 18, reverting back the his 2nd stage. He knows he can't win. He starts changing forms, he blows up like a balloon and announce he's going to explode in 1 minute, and he's going to destroy the Earth when he does. Theres nothing anyone can do. Gokou knows what must be done though. He teleports over to Cell. He tells Gohan he's done well, and to tell Chi Chi he is sorry. "Goodbye, Gohan". He teleports Cell to Kaiosama's planet, telling him this is the only thing he could think of. Cell explodes. On Earth they realize Gokou is dead. Then in heaven, we see Gokou, Kaiosama, and Bubbles flying around. Kaiosama is pissed Gokou killed him. Then Gokou notices he can't feel Cell's ki. Kaiosama also can't. They realize...that Cell is still alive. Back on Earth everyone is getting ready to leave, when a blast comes out of nowhere, killing Trunks. Cell has returned. He explains how he learned Gokou's Instantaneous Movement, and how he regenerated himself. Everyone is horrified except Gohan, who is happy. He wants to be able to avenge his father's death. He is glad he will be the one to kill Cell. Vegeta is still staring at Trunks' dead body. "Trunks..." he says...then he screams and powers up, and attacks Cell he gives him his signature machine gun-like blasts, but none of them hurt him. Cell nails Vegeta, knocking him down, and sends a deadly blast for him, but Gohan jumps in front and takes the hit for Vegeta. It hits his arm, leaving it limp and unusable. Cell starts powering another Kamehameha to destroy the Earth, but this time Gohan is worried. Vegeta tells Gohan he's sorry, surpirsing him. Piccolo is pissed off because there's nothing anyone can do. Gokou then contacts his son from the afterlife. Gokou tells Gohan to fire a Kamehameha to beat Cell. Gokou tell him not to worry about him, he's going to have fun in the afterlife. Gohan starts charging his first Kamehameha.They both fire, and the huge blasts hit each other head on, cause a huge explosion. Gohan is losing, Cell's blast is much stronger. Gokou reminds Gohan he is holding back. He wants Gohan to let his power explode and not worry about the damage to the Earth. Vegeta hits Cell with a blast, distracting him for a split second, and thats when Gohan goes all out. Gohan's Kamehameha destroys Cell, and he falls down, reverts back to his regular form, and lies there exhausted. Cell has finally been defeated. Or has he? ...Yes, he has.
