Muza's Role in Thousand Arms

If you currently have NO earthly idea of who Muza Grifford is, then the information that follows will perhaps make his personality a bit clearer. Muza is one of the main characters in the Playstation (PSX) RPG fantasy game Thousand Arms. Muza is one of three male characters that you can fight with at will. The other two include Soushi (a feminine looking guy; looks like Marron except with silvery hair and wears nothing but pink kimonos and stuff -_-;) and Meis Triumph (the absolute main character in the game, you play as him). Muza is obtained rather quickly in the game, and is the second other character that you recruit; you get Muza to join your party subsequent to Sodina joining your party.

Muza is mentioned earlier in the game, however, when Meis is busy exploring his house and going to talk to his dad at the initiation of the game. Three or four maids are rapidly clucking to themselves about "how strong Sir Muza is" and how each would "love to be wrapped in his strong arms" and whatnot. (I, personally, did not recognize this when I played the game, however, for I had no clue who Muza was and paid little attention to it. My brother instead informed me of the maids gushing about Muza later after I had nearly completed the game & had become infatuated with Muza...) It is learned later that Muza is Meiss best friend, or at least a very good friend, who resides at this fortress embedded in a cliff called Fort Teve. The first time you meet him he helps you fight off some of the nearby bad guys (they are called the Dark Acolytes)who are attempting to ambush the Fort and take it over. Muza, however, aids you in beating them off, specifically with the use of his special attack called Twister Blade. When he screams out the name of this attack, a damaging whirlwind blows fiercely at the enemy. In the cut scene, however, this Twister Blade blows the Dark Acolytes away so that you can be safe; at least for a while.

Muza later agrees to join you and Sodina, not after exposing his one major weakness: girls. While Meis is outgoing and flirtatious, Muza is quite the opposite, being extremely shy and fidgety in front of ANY girl. He is otherwise rather self-confident, pleased with his own strength and does not refrain from letting people know that he is very strong. Muza is very strong in battle and can procure about 1,000 hit points in a short amount of time (Muza was my strongest character when I beat Thousand Arms; perhaps this was because he was my favorite character and I used him most often..? Probably..) but is rather weak when communicating with members of the opposite sex. In fact, when he realizes he is speaking with a girl, Muza is so nervous and will instantly freeze up-literally turn blue-and he cannot move at all for quite a while. Meis recognizes this and thinks it pretty comical. He apologizes for Muza and explains the situation to Sodina when this happens for the first time. The most hilarious occurence of Muzas little nervousness pattern in front of women was when he discovered that the person under the cloak near Langoud (it was Wyna) was a woman (and not just ANY woman, either-she was the half-dressed PIRATE woman named Wyna-ARR!), he turned to blue stone and you had to DRAG him around for a while-that was really funny! Another hilarious part of this particular scene was that in a conversation one choice you had was to say to Muza, "Oh great, now I have to drag your sorry @$$ around" or something to that effect, and Sodina countered, "MEIS!!!" and slapped you soundly (rumble pack going nuts) for putting down your friend just cause of his little weakness. I never gave that choice, but HAHAHA! Poor Muza.. Ahh! but baka desu! I should not be laughing at my poor little darling..Baka Kloot, baka Kloot..

During the course of the game, you meet several other people, mostly women, of course, but still interesting nonetheless. My second favorite character in the game, personally, next to Muza, is Soushi, the bishonen samurai. Samurai are really awesome, and Soushi is quite mysterious, but it is found out later he likes women about as much as Meis does. When I first looked at him I thought he was a girl, and I was like, She is so cool! when I bought the game, but then my brother read the caption and said, Kloot, uhhmm..hes a GUY, and I was supremely shocked. I have learned my lesson from that experience, however: if a certain anime/manga character is feminine and does not have huge protruding boobs that are at least a size C, then it has to be a guy. There is just a rule somewhere..no anime women have tiny boobs, except for, say, Lina Inverse (gomen nasai Lina!). Lina is still awesome though! *bonks Gourry for making fun of Lina due to her smaller chest size* Men...I swear, all I needed to know about men I was taught by anime. And lets not go into detail there, folks..its very scary.

So much for my little introduction on Muza Grifford. If you want to know more about Muza then play Thousand Arms! I really like that game...even if you dont do it for Muza, even if you hate Muza, even if you dont really give a piece of freaking KFC about Muza, then STILL play Thousand Arms because it has really good anime sequences for those who enjoy general anime-type stuff. It has quite a few laughs and the bosses are enjoyable and pretty..uhmm....interesting looking. I highly recommend the game, and OF COURSE I highly recommend Muza, my aijin, my lovable darling-baby-bunker-boo!! *hearts in eyes* OK, I am not insane, I am not insane..right?!

Minna: Right. *rolls eyes*

Is is time to go back to Muza's warm loving arms or go back home?

Your choice.
