THE SEQUEL TO THE WRATH OF THE SHINING POKEMON CREATED BY: Darren Antoney Kerwin
PART 1
Darren, Mason and Jasmine were riding on Darren's Lapras. After 2 Days of travelling to Sunburst Island, they were pretty exhausted. But then, in the distance, Darren, Mason and Jasmine saw the familiar looking Island. "There it is!" said Mason. "Ok Lapras, head for Sunburst!" said Darren. Lapras speeded off towards the island. When Darren, Mason and Jasmine hit the shore of the Island, Darren recalled Lapras to the pokeball. "Ok, were here, where shall we start?" Said Darren. "I think we should be starting there!" said Jasmine as she pointed to the pokemon Centre. "Good idea!" said Darren. So off they all went to the pokemon centre. When they entered the pokemon centre, Nurse Joy greeted them. "Why hello Darren, I haven't seen you around for a while, are you going to be staying long?" said Nurse Joy. "Well, yes actually, you see were..." "We were Just visiting, be will be here for quite a bit yet" said Jasmine as she interrupted Darren and told him that this should be kept secret. "Oh ok, may I see your pokemon?" said Nurse Joy. "Of Course!" said Darren. "She checked the pokemon one by one. "OH MY GOODNESS, AN ARTICUNO!" Said Nurse Joy. Darren, Mason and Jasmine didn't know what to do. "Shush" said Darren. Jasmine explained to Nurse Joy what had happened while they were away from Sunburst last. "Oh my goodness, I see!" said Nurse Joy. "Yes, so it's very important that nobody hears about it!" said Darren. "Well, its going to be hard, ever since you left Sunburst island, we never thought you would return, you are famous all over this island!" said Nurse joy. "Why is that?" Said Mason. "Because you caught the shining Magikarp of course!" said Nurse joy. "Its not a Gyrados no longer Nurse Joy, Its a Gyrados now" said Darren. "WHAAAATT!" said Nurse Joy. "Yes, it evolved using a special stone!" said Darren. He explained why this was. "I see, well, look, I think I maybe able to help you out!" said Nurse Joy. "Why?" said Darren. "Well, when I was younger, I lived with my parents on this island. They told me about a story their parents had told them when they were younger about a special pokemon that lived in Sunburst Mountains. I wanted to see if this story was true, but my parents told me to never go up Sunburst Mountains because it was dangerous. I still went up those mountains and looked for the special bird, but as I was climbing the mountain, I fell into a cave. There was a room with writing on the wall. They were pokemon on the wall. At the far end of the cave was a stone table, and on that table was a Gem. A blue Gem. I grabbed it and took it back down Sunburst Mountain with me but I never told anyone about it to this day" said Nurse Joy. "Where is the Gem now?" Said Mason. "I keep it safe right here!" said Nurse joy and out she pulled a sparkly blue Gem. "That must be one of the Gems!" said Darren. "You may take it, its yours!" said Nurse Joy "Thank you!" said Darren. "Try and find the Shining pokemon for me!" said Nurse Joy. "We will," said Darren. Off they went out of the pokemon centre. "We should get some rest now, come back to my house" said Jasmine. Darren, Mason and Jasmine walked into the town to Jasmine's house. People stared at Darren as he went past. People came up to him in the street and asked about the shining Magikarp. Darren told them and they were surprised that it had evolved. Darren, Mason and Jasmine finally got to Jasmines house. She opened the door. They went inside. Later on, they sat down to a lovely meal that Jasmine had prepared for them. They sat down and ate. Then they got some rest and went to sleep. Darren couldn't sleep, he was thinking about the shining pokemon and the Crystal Ho-oh. Later on he got up, It was the middle of the night. He went to the door and woke Mason and Jasmine in the process. "Darren, where are you going?" said Jasmine. "I can't sleep, I have to go and find the crystal Ho-oh" said Darren. "What, now?" said Mason. "Yes, I have to go and see it!" said Darren. "But Darren, its the middle of the night, and besides, you can't see it without the other 3 stones" said Mason. "Well, we will just have to find them then," said Darren. He walked out of the door. "Shall we go after him?" said Jasmine. "No way, if he wants to go and find them, let him," said Mason.
PART 2
Darren came to the shore of the island. The same places where he battled the Gyrados when he first caught the shining Magikarp. "Hello" said a voice from behind him. Darren turned around. It was a kid. "Hi" said Darren. "Your Darren ain't you," said the kid. "Yea, who are you?" said Darren. "My name is Gareth," said the kid. "Hi Gareth, hey how did you know my name?" Said Darren. "Everyone knows you on this island Darren, but I know why you came here!" said Gareth. "What, you can't know" said Darren. "Yes I can, I know that you have come to seek the legendary Crystal Ho-oh, and I also know that you are the one that holds the 4 legendary bird pokemon with you" said Gareth. "How did you know that?" said Darren. "I read your mind," said Gareth. "You did what?" said Darren. "Don't be shocked, I came to tell you that I have one of the Gems you seek!" said Gareth. "Which one?" said Darren. "I have the yellow one," said Gareth. "May I have it?" said Darren. "On one condition, you battle me one on one with your shining Gyrados, If you succeed at beating me, you may have the gem" said Gareth. "Ok" said Darren. "Its a one on one pokemon battle, no time limit, you may have the first attack!" said Gareth. "Ok, I will only need one attack!" said Darren. Darren threw a pokeball in the air. Out came Gyrados. "Ha, I knew you would pick that one," said Gareth. He threw his pokeball in the air. Out came Alakazam. "Ok Gyrados, use your gold scale!" said Darren. "Use reflect!" said Gareth. Gyrados Gold scale headed for Alakazam. Alakazam's reflect made the gold scale attack bounce back towards Gyrados. "Oh no!" said Darren. "Ha, I knew you would pick that attack, I think you are forgetting that I can read your mind!" said Gareth. "That means all my attacks are useless!" said Darren. "Precisely!" said Gareth. "Ok Alakazam, use your psybeam!" said Gareth. Alakazam used his psybeam on Gyrados. Gyrados was badly hit by the attack and fell to the ground. Just then, Darren had an Idea. If he blanked his mind, Gareth wouldn't be able to know his attacks! Darren closed his eyes and blanked his mind. "What are you doing, I can't sense nothing!" said Gareth. All of a sudden, Darren Shouted to Gyrados. "QUICK, USE HYPERBEAM!" said Darren. Gyrados attacked Alakazam with a hyperbeam. It knocked out Alakazam. "No way!" said Gareth. "Looks like I win," said Darren as he lifted his pokeball in the air. A beam of red light came out of the pokeball and Gyrados returned to his pokeball. "Ok, you win, I will give you the Gem" said Gareth. He handed Darren the sparkly Yellow gem. "Where did you find this gem?" said Darren. "I found it when I was mountain climbing. A pokemon had it and I managed to steel it from it. It attacked me, but I used my Alakazam to transport me back to the pokemon centre. I kept this Gem for 5 years, I never told anyone about it, but since I knew that Nurse joy in the pokemon centre gave you hers, I gave you mine. If you are looking for the other 2, I can only help you with 1. It is the Red one. They is a house at the bottom of the mountain. He knows me; He is the only person I have told about the Gem I had. He owns the red one. He said he will never part with it, so you may have to make him an offer he can't refuse!" said Gareth. "Thanks" said Darren. "Now I must leave you!" said Gareth. His Alakazam just had enough energy left to transport them to the pokemon centre. Gareth and Alakazam Disappeared. Darren ran back to Jasmines house.
LATER
Darren arrived back at the house. It was just about to get light. "Wake up, its morning!" said Darren. Mason and Jasmine woke up. "Where have you been?" said Jasmine. "I've been out to the beech, a battled this trainer called Gareth. He can read peoples minds. He had the Yellow Gem!" said Darren. "HE WHAT!" said Mason. "He had the yellow gem, I won it from him!" said Darren and he showed Mason and Jasmine the second Gem. "You really have got it!" said Jasmine. "He told me to see a man who lives at the bottom of Sunburst mountain, he has the red Gem!" said Darren. "Well, we had better go and see him right away!" said Jasmine. "Yes, come on!" said Mason. They both got up and got to the door. They hurried out towards the bottom of Sunburst Mountain. They saw the house in the distance. When they got to the house, they saw they was a sign outside. "Moltres house" the sign read. "I wonder why it was called that?" said Darren. Darren knocked on the house door. They was no answer. "Perhaps they are out!" said Mason. Just then, the door opened. A man came to the door. "Who are you?" Said the man. "We are friends of Gareth, we believe you have something of interest to us" said Darren. "Well, come on in!" said the man. Darren, Mason and Jasmine walked inside.
PART 3
So, you wanted to see me?" said the man. "Yes, you have a red Gem, Gareth has sent me to ask you for it" said Darren. "What, that is impossible, Its very rare!" said the Man. "How rare?" said Darren. "This gem unlocks the power of Moltres, I will give you it on one condition" said the man. "What condition" said Mason. "I will give you this Gem if you can show me the pokemon that I have been searching for 40 years," said the Man. "Would that pokemon be Moltres?" said Darren. "Yes" said the man. "You are in luck, I have Moltres!" said Darren. "WHAT! THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!" said the man. Darren got out Moltres pokeball and let it out. There it stood, a magnificent pokemon burning sparkly red. "ITS THE SHINING MOLTRES!" said the man. "Yes, it is" said Darren and he showed the man the sparkly blue, yellow, and Purple Gems. "You are the one, I must give you this Gem." Said the man and he passed the Red sparkly Gem to Darren. Darren placed it in his pocket. Darren returned Moltres to its pokeball. "So all you need is one more gem, Darren, this Gem has never been found. It should still be in Sunburst Mountains somewhere!" said the man. "Ok thanks" said Darren. Jasmine, Mason and Darren left the house. "Do you think we will find it?" said Darren. "I'm sure you will," said Mason.
Darren let out Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia and Fearow. "Ok you lot, fly around Sunburst Mountain and try and find that last stone!" said Darren. Off they went up Sunburst Mountain. "Wow, they listen to you!" said Mason. "That's unbelievable!" said Jasmine. "Ok, come on, we should get going up the mountain" said Darren. Darren, Mason and Jasmine set off up the mountain. They began to walk up the mountain when Fearow came back. "Have you found anything yet Fearow?" said Darren. Fearow shook its head. "Can you give us a lift to the top?" said Darren. "Fearow nodded its head. Mason, Darren and Jasmine got onto Fearow's back and Fearow flew up the mountain. By the time Fearow had got only a quarter of the way up, it was exhausted. "Ok Fearow, take a rest!" said Darren. He took Fearow's pokeball from his belt and returned him to his pokeball. Ok, looks like we will have to make the rest on foot. Darren, Mason and Jasmine walked up the mountain path. As they got nearer and nearer to the halfway point, they were less and less grass type pokemon and more and more ice type pokemon. "Do you think we can make it?" said Mason. "I'm sure of it!" said Darren. "But Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia haven't come back yet" said Jasmine. "Do you think they have flew away?" said Mason. "No, they can't of, I have faith in my pokemon, they wouldn't do that!" said Darren. "But they are legendary pokemon, one of a kind, they want to be free, they may do as they wish!" said Mason. "Nonsense, they will come back!" said Darren. Just then, Articuno came back. "Have you found anything yet Articuno?" said Darren. Articuno shook its head. "Where is it?" thought Darren to himself. Articuno then landed. It lowered its neck. "I think it wants us to get on its back!" said Mason. "Is that right Articuno?" said Darren. Articuno nodded its head. "Ok, get on then you two!" said Darren as he got onto Articuno's back. Jasmine and Mason got onto Articuno's back and off they went. They went higher and higher. Soon, they got to the half way point. By now, they were no grass pokemon, just ground and Ice types. Just then, it began to snow. Darren noticed a cave in the mountain. "Articuno, take us into the cave. Articuno swooped into the cave and landed. Darren, Jasmine and Mason got into the cave. "Articuno, Gather up all the other pokemon and bring them back here" said Darren. Articuno took off and flew up the mountain. "Where are we?" said Mason as he looked around in the cave. "I haven't a clue!" said Darren. The cave was quite small, about 20 foot long and about 15 foot wide. "I wonder who made this cave," said Darren. "Most probably pokemon" said Darren. "Yea, it was probably them rock type pokemon we saw on the way up here," said Darren. Darren, Mason and Jasmine waited for the snow to pass over. It finally did, they stepped out of the cave and looked upon the horizon. The sun was starting to set upon Sunburst Island. "If the sun goes down, it will get colder!" said Mason. "Don't worry, we will be ok" said Darren. Just then, Articuno came back with Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia. Because Lugia could speak using its psychic abilities, It talked to Darren. "Darren, I still wish you hadn't of caught me, but you have, and I must obey you" said Lugia. "Don't feel like that Lugia, I wish I had caught you in a real battle" said Darren. "Well, since I must obey you, I will tell you where the last stone is, my stone!" said Lugia. "What, you know where it is" said Darren. "Yes, I have been guarding it for a long time now" said Lugia. "Where is it?" said Darren. "Its on top of Sunburst Mountain" said Lugia. "Ok, let's get there!" said Darren. "No, the air is too thin for you to breathe up there, I can take you to the place where the legendary Ho-oh is, but I must be the one to go!" said Lugia. "Ok" said Darren. "I will take you on my back!" said Lugia. He lowered his head and Darren got on. "I won't be able to carry your friends, you must let them go with Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres!" said Lugia. "Ok, I will," said Darren. Darren asked Mason and Jasmine to get onto Articuno and left. Darren returned Zapdos and Moltres. "Ok, let's go!" said Darren. Lugia flew off at an unbelievable speed. "Hold on tight!" said Lugia. Darren was hanging on for his life!
PART 4
Off they flew to the top of Sunburst Mountain. Darren had reached the top with Lugia. Mason and Jasmine were only 3 quarters of the way up. Lugia dropped Darren up at a cave in the top of the mountain. "This is as far as I can take you Darren," said Lugia. "I understand," said Darren. "Your friends should be here soon," said Lugia and with that, Lugia left towards the top of Sunburst Mountain. Darren turned around. He was amazed at what he saw. He saw the place he had been looking for. There were the 5 posts. One to the north, One to the east, one to the south, one to the west and one directly in the middle. Darren looked at the posts. They were also 4 windows. One was facing each way. Just then, Mason and Jasmine arrived on Articuno. "Darren, were here!" said Mason. "I can see that," said Darren. "So, this is it then" said Mason as he looked around. "Yep, this is it alright," said Darren. Just then, Lugia came back. "Where is the Gem Lugia?" said Darren. "Its right here!" said Lugia. Lugia opened its mouth and out came the Gem. It sparkled even brighter than the others did. "Ok, lets put them on the posts!" said Darren. Just then, the Mountain started to rumble. "What was that?" said Darren. "ITS HERE!" said Lugia. The rumbling started to get louder. "It's coming from underneath the mountain!" said Mason. "Quick, get on my Back Darren" said Lugia. Darren quickly got onto Lugia's back. "Get your friends out of here!" said Lugia. Darren threw two pokeballs in the air. Out came Zapdos and Articuno. "Zapdos, Articuno, Let Mason and Jasmine get on your backs," said Darren. Mason got onto Articuno and Jasmine got onto Zapdos. The floor of the cave started to crack open. "Hurry up Darren!" said Lugia. "Quick, Articuno, Zapdos, fly away from here before it is too late!" said Darren. Articuno and Zapdos flew out of the mountain's cave. "Lugia, lets go!" said Darren. But before Lugia could take off, Something shot from underneath the Mountain. "It's Ho-oh!" said Darren. The shining legendary bird pokemon what Darren had been searching for was right in front of him. It looked at Darren and started to attack. Darren Jumped off Lugia just in time before a flame-thrower attack hit Lugia. Lugia shook it off and retaliated with a Hydro pump attack. Ho-oh was weak against water because it was fire, but it didn't weaken it at all! "What that attack should have weakened it!" said Darren. Ho-oh let out a huge cry and attacked Lugia with a fire spin attack. It hit Lugia. "Lugia, use recover!" said Darren. Lugia used a recover attack and went back to full health. Ho-oh started to glow. "Quick Darren, Get out of here, its going to use sacred fire!" said Lugia. Darren got on his remaining last flying type pokemon Moltres. He got onto Moltres back and flew out of the cave. Just then, Darren turned around. He saw massive blasts of fire come out of the Mountain and Ho-oh flew out. It started to use sacred fire on the Island below. Towns and cities burned to the ground. Hundreds of people fled to the shore. Some got boats, others let out their water pokemon and sailed across the Sea. "NO!" said Darren. The mountain then collapsed on itself. The Mountain had collapsed to the ground. "LUGIA!" said Darren. He told Moltres to go to the bottom of the Mountain. He searched and searched for the Lugia. He then spotted Lugia laid on the ground. Darren got off Moltres and ran towards Lugia. "Lugia, are you ok?" Said Darren. "I have been destroyed," said Lugia. "No, you can't be!" said Darren. "Yes I am, I cannot go on like this much longer!" said Lugia. "Hold on in there!" said Darren. "You must find a way to get this island back to normal" said Lugia. "What, but its been destroyed!" said Darren. "Don't give up so easily, you must find away," said Lugia. Lugia looked weak. It started to close its eyes. "No, Lugia, Don't go!" said Darren. "You must find a way," said Lugia. Lugia closed its eyes. "Lugia, Lugia answer me!" said Darren. Lugia did not answer. Just then, Articuno and Zapdos flew back to Darren with Mason and Jasmine on their backs. "Darren, the island has been destroyed, where is Lugia?" said Jasmine. "He's gone, Lugia's gone!" said Darren. A tear came from Darren's eyes. "I'm sorry," said Mason. Just then, Ho-oh came flying back to attack Darren. "Its back" said Darren angrily. "Quick its going to attack" said Mason. "I'm not going no where!" said Darren. "But you will get killed!" said Mason. "I don't care, It can't hurt me no more than it already has!" said Darren. Ho-oh swooped down and was about to attack Darren "STOP" said Darren. Ho-oh stopped. "Don't you see what you have done, you have destroyed this place, you have destroyed homes, people, pokemon" said Darren. Ho-oh landed and stared at Darren. "You even destroyed my pokemon Lugia, if you want to destroy me then fine, do it, you can't hurt me anymore than I already am" said Darren. Ho-oh stopped. It thought to itself. "This human must be the one!" thought the Ho-oh to itself. "Are you the one?" said Ho-oh. "To tell you the truth, I don't know what I am anymore," said Darren. "If you are the one that I think you are, then you will find a way to stop this happening" said Ho-oh. Ho-oh flew away over the Island and flew across the sea. "Darren, what are we going to do?" said Mason. Just then, Darren had an Idea. "I know exactly what I am going to do!" said Darren.
PART 5
Darren threw a pokeball into the air. Out came Celebi. "Celebi, you see what has happened here, Ho-oh has flew away and I need your help," said Darren. "Darren, what are you going to do?" said Jasmine. "I'm going to turn back time!" said Darren. "WHAT?" said Mason and Jasmine together at the same time. "I am going to travel to the past and change things before they get any worse!" said Darren. "Ok, we will come with you!" said Jasmine. "Yes, me too!" said Mason. "I was hoping you would say that, Ok Celebi, I want you to take us back to the past about half an hour!" said Darren. Celebi flew in mid air. It made a gigantic circle of power and Darren, Mason, Jasmine and Celebi travelled to the past. Darren appeared back inside the mountain when the ground started to rumble.
Quick, lets put the Gems on the posts!" said Darren. Darren ran around the posts. He let out Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. They flew out of the cave and flew just outside one of the windows. He went to the window where Moltres was near. "The Red Gem for Moltres" said Darren as he placed the Gem on the post. He ran to the post where Zapdos was near. "The Yellow Gem for Zapdos" said Darren as he placed the Gem on the post. He ran to the post where Articuno was near. "The Blue Gem for Articuno" said Darren as he placed the Jewel on the post. He ran to the post where Lugia was near. "And the White Gem for Lugia" said Darren as he placed the white Jewel on the post. The mountain was just about to crack open in the middle where the post was. Darren jumped over the crack just in time. He quickly placed the Purple Gem on the middle post. "And the Purple Gem for Ho-oh!" said Darren. But Darren had just noticed that he was trapped. He couldn't get out! The crack had formed right around the post. "Darren!" said Jasmine and Mason at the same time. "Go, Fearow!" said Darren. Fearow came out of its pokeball. Darren got onto Fearow. "Get us out of here!" said Fearow. Fearow flew across the large crack in the floor. "Quick, get on!" said Darren to Mason and Jasmine as he flew past them. Mason Jumped onto Fearow. Jasmine was just about to get on before the floor fell through. "HELP!" Said Jasmine. "JASMINE!" said Darren. Mason and Darren thought Jasmine had fell. "I'm here!" said Jasmine. Darren looked over Fearow and saw that Jasmine had grabbed hold of Fearow's leg. Darren helped Jasmine up. She got onto Fearow's back. Ho-oh blasted through the floor of the cave. It was just about to attack, but a burst of energy came from each Gem and trapped Ho-oh. The purple Gem started to take all of Ho-oh energy and stopped it from attacking. "Crystal Ball, go!" said Darren as he threw the Crystal pokeball at Ho-oh. Ho-oh was sucked inside. Ho-oh was finally caught. Wow, I finally caught it!" said Darren. Just then, the mountain started to collapse. "What's going on?" said Darren. "Quick, let's get out of here!" said Mason. Darren, Mason and Jasmine got out by getting onto Articuno and flew down to the ground. "Darren, get on!" said Lugia. Darren jumped onto Lugia and Lugia Flew out of the mountain. Zapdos and Moltres followed. Darren got down to the island. "Darren, are you ok?" said Mason as he ran to Darren. "Yes, but the mountain is in pieces!" said Darren. "That's because Ho-oh has kept it up all these years!" said Lugia. "How did it get into the mountain in the first place?" said Darren. "Nobody knows, people say that it was flew into it when the mountain was a volcano, some others say it was born in the volcano!" said Lugia. "Wow, do you think the island will recover from something like this?" said Darren. "Well, they is sure to be a lot of tremors and things, but yes, eventually it will" said Lugia. "Well, they is something else I think I should do," said Darren. "What's that?" said Mason. "I am going to let the shining pokemon go!" said Darren. "What?" Said Jasmine. "I have no right to have them, not after all this, I shouldn't deserve them" said Darren. "That is where you a wrong Darren" said Lugia. "What do you mean?" said Darren. "At first, I didn't thing that you would be the one, I thought that you were just another human, but now I see that the legend is true, so I want to be your pokemon" said Lugia. "Are you sure?" said Darren. "Yes" said Lugia. Darren looked at Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. They nodded their heads too. Celebi, Ho-oh and Gyrados came out of their pokeballs too. "They believe in you too!" said Lugia. "I don't know what to say!" said Darren. "You don't have to say anything," said Lugia. "Thanks" said Darren. He returned Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Gyrados, Ho-oh and Celebi to their pokeballs Darren then returned Lugia to its pokeball. Just then, they heard a voice. "Congratulations Darren" said a voice from behind them. Darren Mason and Jasmine turned around. It was Dakar. "You did it, you really are the one!" said Dakar. "It seems that way," said Darren. "I doubted you at first, but now I know that you are the one." said Dakar. "Does that mean that my quest is finally over?" said Darren. "Yes, in a way, but I believe that you will continue to become stronger everyday" said Dakar. "Thanks" said Darren. "But now I must go, It was nice to know you" said Dakar. He turned around and started to walk away. "Wait, won't I see you again?" said Darren. "You don't need to, I have helped you all I can, you must do the rest yourself" said Dakar. "Goodbye, and tell Misdreavus I said goodbye" said Darren. "Tell her yourself, she is yours!" said Dakar. "WHAT?" said Darren.
PART 6
"You have proved yourself to be a good trainer, I will let you keep Misdreavus. She will be better off with you," said Dakar. He threw a pokeball with Misdreavus in it to Darren. "I don't know what to say," said Darren. "Say nothing, I wish you luck for the future, I know you will succeed!" said Dakar. Just then, they was a flash of light, then it disappeared. Dakar was gone. "Goodbye Dakar" said Darren.
LATER
Darren was walking up the beach. He had been thinking a lot. Mason came up to him. "Hey, Darren" said Mason. Darren sat down on the beach. "I have been doing a lot of thinking," said Darren. "What about?" said Mason. "Everything, a lot has happened over the past few years," said Darren. "Yea, I know what you mean," said Mason. "I remember when I first got Squirtle, who would of thought It has lasted this long" said Darren. "Yea, it's been a long time," said Mason. Darren, Mason and Jasmine got onto Lapras. A large crowd gathered to say goodbye. "Hey wait!" said a voice. It was Gareth. "I just wanted to say goodbye and good luck" said Gareth. "Thanks" said Darren. "Them gems maybe lost, but they will be found again I am sure" said Gareth. "I am sure they will be" said Darren. Darren told Lapras to leave. "Goodbye!" said Mason and Jasmine. Darren, Mason and Jasmine sailed off into the sunset. "So, what do we do now?" said Jasmine. "I don't know, what do we do Darren?" said Mason and looked at Darren. "Well, I will drop you back to Olivine, then you can go from there" said Darren. "Why, where are you going?" said Jasmine. Mason explained that Darren will be leaving. "I didn't say anything, I said that I need time to think" said Darren.
2 DAYS LATER
Darren, Mason and Jasmine arrived at Olivine city. "So, your really going?" said Mason. "Yes, I will be in touch" said Darren. "Ok, goodbye then" said Mason. Darren got onto his Fearow and flew off. "Do you think he will be back?" said Jasmine. "I don't know, maybe" said Mason.
ONE MONTH LATER
Mason was walking through Cherry Grove city. He walked into the pokemon centre. Mason walked up to the computer to check his E-mail. He noticed that Darren had sent him one. He clicked on it and opened it. It said "Hi Mason, I have thought about it and with the help of the pokemon HQ, I have decided to build my gym. It will be built in Pallet. The construction will begin next week, I was wondering if you will be here to help me. Let me know, thanks from Darren." The e-mail message ended. Mason thought to himself. "Yes, he will be ok" thought Mason.
