THE LEDGEND OF MISDREAVUS

PART 1
THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO BEFORE MAN EXISTED, A POKEMON EXISTED DEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF A VOLCANO. ON AN ISLAND WHAT WE KNOW TODAY AS JOHTO. THIS POKEMON WAS SAID TO LIVE IN THE SHADOWS OF ALL OTHER POKEMON. IT WAS NEVER SEEN AND WAS NEVER HEARD OF. MEANWHILE IN THE SKY, A GIANT BIRD POKEMON SWOOPED DOWN INTO THE VOLCANO AND MADE IT ERUPT. THIS POKEMON IS BELIEVED TO BE EXTINCED NOW AND KNOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT WAS. BUT THIS POKEMON MADE THE VOLCANO ERUPT AND SPREADED ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE POKEMON BELOW THE VOLCANO WAS DESTROYED. THOUSANDS OF YEARS LATER AFTER THE VOLCANO HAD COOLED DOWN INTO A MOUNTAIN WHAT HUMANS CALL MOUNT SILVER WAS STILL THERE. BUT AS FOR THE POKEMON BELOW, ITS BODY STILL RESTED THERE, BUT OUT OF IT CAME A POWERFUL SPIRIT KNOWN AS MISDREAVUS. IT HAD RISEN FROM THE DEAD AND HAD LIVED DOWN INSIDE THE MOUNTAIN SEEN BY NOBODY, UNTIL NOW.
Darren had been in his gym training up his Gyrados. It had grown a lot, and was now at level 50. Its attacks were Golden Scale, Outrage, Devastate, and dragon bond. It had also just recently learned a new attack, Hyperbeam! Darren was really pleased with his Gyrados, he was proud of his other pokemon too. Lapras, Ditto, Victreebel, Fearow and Porygon. He also had two pokemon he had received in a trade. They were a Scizor (he had traded with Mason) and a Larvitar (he received from the trade corner in goldenrod city) They seemed to get on quite well with Darren. Just then, a familiar face had entered the doors of the gym. It was Jasmine! "Hello Darren, long time no see!" she said. "I can't believe it!" said Darren. "Well you better, because I'm back and I'm stronger than before! When I heard that the shining Magikarp had evolved, I had to come and see it!" said Jasmine. "Ok then, If you want so see it, what about a pokemon battle?" said Darren. "Ok then, we will have a one on one pokemon battle, I will use a steel type." Said Jasmine. "And I will use Gyrados!" said Darren. He threw his pokeball in the air and out came Gyrados! "Wow, It's red!" said Jasmine. "Yea, I know!" said Darren. Jasmine threw a pokeball into the air and out came a Magnimite "What? Magnimite is an electric type!" said Darren puzzled. "No, It isn't, scientists have noticed that it is more related to the steel type then electric type!" said Jasmine. "No, Magnimite uses electric type attacks, It will easy win my Gyrados!" said Darren to himself. "Ok Magnimite, use your sonic boom!" said Jasmine. The attack hit Gyrados and sent it flying. "Ok Gyrados, Use your Hyperbeam attack!" said Darren. Gyrados Hyperbeam missed! "Ok Magnimite use thunder!" said Jasmine. It used its Thunder attack and sent Gyrados to the ground. "Looks like I win!" said Jasmine. "Ok Gyrados, return!" said Darren. "That was a great match!" said Jasmine. "Yea, It was!" said Darren. "Sorry about the Magnimite, but I trained it up just so I could battle you! Said Jasmine. "Really?" said Darren. "Yes, and I didn't just come for that, I came back for my gym!" said Jasmine. "Oh I see, ok," said Darren and he handed the keys over to Jasmine. "But I wanted you to stay on here as my partner!" said Jasmine. "That's very kind of you, but I have to think about it!" said Darren. "I also have made arrangements for you to go to Mount silver!" said Jasmine. "Where is that?" said Darren. "You mean you have never heard of it?" said Jasmine. "No, what is it?" said Darren. "Mount silver is a place where terribly strong pokemon live. Nobody is allowed anywhere near it! It is heavily guarded by lots of guards. The odd few trainers have only been able to pass through to Mount silver; they are the only ones capable of coming out of there alive! They wouldn't let the average trainer into the Mountain, but they have made an exemption for you!" said Jasmine. "Wow!" said Darren. "Not only that, but inside that mountain people believe they is pokemon that we have never even seen before!" said Jasmine. "What kind of pokemon?" said Darren. "Well, we are certain that they will be strong pokemon and will be very rare." Said Jasmine. "When do I leave?" said Darren. "You leave tomorrow, you must make your way to the indigo plateaux in Kanto across the water from new bark town, then you will come to the entrance. We have 2 other trainers who are going with you, I advise that you stick together and you take your strongest pokemon with you!" said Jasmine. "So what do you want me to do there?" said Darren. "We will tell you tomorrow Darren!" said Jasmine. "Ok then, I will see you tomorrow then!" said Darren. "Yes" said Jasmine. Darren walked out of the gym, Got out his Fearow, and flew to new bark town where he spent the night.
PART 2
The next day, Darren had woken up early. He started to make his way to the indigo plateaux. He used his Lapras to make his way across the water. When he got to the other side of the water, he knew he was in Kanto. It took his a very long time before he got to the indigo plateaux and he had to battle many trainers along the way, but he was strong enough to get passed them without his pokemon fainting. He then made it right up to the indigo plateaux entrance. He stepped inside. Inside was officer jenny. "Welcome to the indigo plateaux Darren, we have been expecting you!" she said. "Yes, I'm here, so where do we go to mount silver?" said Darren. "I think you should have some rest first Darren" said Officer Jenny and she pointed to a pokemon centre right inside the indigo plateaux. "If you heal your pokemon there, and you can get some rest as well before you leave!" said Officer Jenny. "Thanks" said Darren and he walked up to the desk. "Hello Darren, welcome to the pokemon centre we can heal all of your pokemon here, shall we heal them now?" said Nurse Joy. "Yes thanks" said Darren. "Ok, please give it a couple of hours before I'm finished" said Nurse Joy. "Ok" said Darren and he handed his pokemon over to Nurse Joy. Darren walked through to a room where he had a rest. About 3 hours later, Darren woke up. Jasmine walked into the room. "Hi Darren, glad you could make it!" said Jasmine. "Thank you, so what is it I have to do then?" said Darren. "Well, a lot of pokemon researchers want to study the pokemon inside mount silver, but nobody can get inside to see them, so they want you to catch them and bring them back with you!" said Jasmine. "Wow, that's a big job!" said Darren. "Yes, and your the only one that can do it among with a few others" said Jasmine. "What others?" said Darren. "Well, we was keeping it a secret from you, but now that you are here, I can tell you!" said Jasmine and with that, she opened the door from behind her and in came Mason! "MASON?" said Darren shocked. You and Mason have the best talents that we know of, and your Gyrados is the only pokemon that we feel can stand up to the challenge" said Lance as he walked through the door. "LANCE?!? The worlds greatest pokemon master?" said Darren. "Yes, I will be joining you on your quest!" said Lance. "Mason and Lance are the people who will be joining you!" said Jasmine. "This, is an honour!" said Darren. "Why thank you" said Lance. "Now, you will be in the mountain for about 3 weeks, we have supplied you with food, drink and shelter. We don't know the exact layout of the mountain, but it is really big!" said Jasmine. "Ok, when do we go?" said Mason. "You leave straight away, if you would like to follow me to the entrance, ill show you through" said Jasmine. "Ok Jasmine" said Darren. Darren, Mason and Lance all followed Jasmine. Eventually, Jasmine stopped at a metal door. "The mountain is just through that door, we wish you the best of luck." Said Jasmine. "Thanks" Darren, Mason and Lance said at the same time. Just then, Nurse Joy came up to Darren. "I've healed your pokemon come back to full health" said Nurse Joy. "Thanks" said Darren. "Come on Darren, lets go!" said Mason and he started to walk towards the entrance. "Ok" said Darren and he walked through the entrance with Lance to mount silver. "Good luck!" Darren heard from behind him. The entrance behind him shut and he continued on.
PART 3
Darren, Mason and Lance were walking inside the Mountain when Darren heard a rumbling behind him. "What was that?" said Darren. "I'm not sure" said Mason as he looked around. "Maybe it was our imagination!" said Lance. "Not if we all heard it at the same time!" said Mason. "I'm going back to see what it was" said Darren and he ran back to where he had heard it. "Darren, wait!" said Lance and Mason. They followed Darren back. When they got to Darren, they saw that he was battling a pokemon. It was a Larvitar. "I choose Lapras!" said Darren. He threw his pokeball into the air. Out came his lapras. "Lapras, use your ice beam!" said Darren. Lapras used a really powerful ice beam and it hit Larvitar (almost fainting it) "Pokeball go!" said Darren. He threw an empty pokeball at Larvitar. Larvitar was sucked inside! It didn't stand a chance. Darren picked up the pokeball and it started to glow white and it disapeared. "What happened?" said Darren looking puzzled. "Its been transported back to the lab" said Lance. "Oh, I see" said Darren. He continued into the cave. Darren, Mason and Lance had been walking around for some time now. They had each caught some pokemon and had transported them back to the lab. Darren's pokedex had been filling up quite well. "I wonder if we should go deeper into the mountain?" said Mason. "I wouldn't chance it" said Lance. "Yea, we were told only to go through to the other side, not under the mountain" said Darren. "I don't care, we need to find more pokemon" said Mason. "Yes, but it could be dangerous down there" said Darren. "Well, you can do what you like, but I'm going down there!" said Mason and with that, he walked to a slope and slid down it. "Mason wait!" said Darren. "We have to follow him Darren" said Lance. "But what happens if its too dangerous?" said Darren. "Then we will help each other through it!" said Lance patting Darren on the back. "Ok, ill do it!" said Darren and with that, the two of them made there way to the slope and slid down. When Darren and Lance got to the bottom of the slope, they couldn't see Mason. "Mason!" Darren shouted. Just then, a wild Ursaring came charging at them! "I don't think you should have done that!" said Lance. Lance threw his pokeball into the air. Out came a Dragonair. "Dragonair, use your thunder attack!" said Lance. Lance's Dragonair hit the wild Ursaring and sent it to the ground. "Pokeball go!" said Lance. Lance caught the Ursaring and it was transported back to the lab. "Oh no! What if Mason got caught by one of those and is knocked unconscious somewhere!" said Darren. "I hope not!" said Lance. Just then, Darren and Lance heard a familiar voice. "I'm over here!" said Mason at the other side of the tunnel. "What are you doing right over there?" said Darren. "I think I've found something!" said Mason. Darren and Lance ran over to Darren. Mason had found a set of steps leading down to the bottom of the mountain. Darren, Mason and Lance walked slowly down the steps and came to a dead end. "Maybe we should turn back" said Darren. "Good Idea" said Lance. Darren, Mason and Lance had just turned around and had just looked up when they saw a shadow go straight in front of them. "DID YOU JUST SEE THAT?" said Darren frightened. "I DID!" said Lance. Just then, they heard a noise coming from the other side of the wall. Suddenly, something came out of the wall screaming at the 3 terrified pokemon trainers! "RUN!!!!!!!!!" said Darren. Darren, Mason and Lance ran as fast as they could. They ran straight up the steps, straight up the slope and straight out of the mountain. When they had got out of the mountain, they could still hear screeching coming from the mountain. "WHAT WAS THAT!" said Darren in a terrified voice. "I COULDENT TELL!" said Mason in an even more terrified voice. Lance couldn't even answer because he was in that much shock. "I bet it was an undiscovered pokemon!" said Darren Starting to calm down a bit now. "I bet it was!" said Mason. "What? Where? When? Why?" said Lance out of breath and confused. Just then, they heard the screech again. It started to get louder and louder and louder! "Whatever that is, it's coming back to get us!" said Darren. "Quick, let's get out of here!" said Lance. But it was too late. The pokemon had come out of the mountain. Darren pulled out his pokedex quickly. "Misdreavus, the screech pokemon, this pokemon has only appeared in a legend and probably doesn't exist" the pokedex said. "Ok, if I caught this pokemon, it would be great!" said Darren. He pulled a pokeball from his belt. "Go Gyrados!" said Darren. Darren's shining Gyrados came out of its pokeball. "Gyrados, use your devastate attack!" said Darren. But Darren looked, where had Misdreavus gone? "It's disappeared!" said Darren. "Quick Darren behind you!" said Mason. Misdreavus came from behind and hit Gyrados with a psybeam. It hit Gyrados with unbelievable strength. "Ok Gyrados, use your hyperbeam!" said Darren. Gyrados charged up its energy, but Misdreavus did a pain split and Gyrados took damage. "Oh no!" said Darren. Gyrados unleashed its hyperbeam and sent Misdreavus down. "Ok, pokeball go!" said Darren and he threw an empty pokeball into the air. But he pokeball stooped in the air. "What happened?" said Darren. The sky turned pure black and Misdreavus began to glow. "What attack is that?" said Mason. Darren pulled his pokedex out. "Misdreavus attacks its enemies with its most powerful attack perish song, it faints its opponent and it also faints itself. "Oh no!" said Darren.
PART 4
Misdreavus let out a huge screech and used its perish song attack. Misdreavus immediately fell to the ground and so did Gyrados. "Wow!" said Lance. "That attack sure is powerful!" said Mason. "Quick, lets catch it" said Darren. He grabbed the pokeball (which was still floating in the air) and threw it at Misdreavus. This time, it hit Misdreavus pulling it inside. The pokeball wobbled slowly backwards and forwards. The light was still shining inside it. Then, all of a sudden, the light went out. But just as Darren was about to pick up the ball from the ground, the pokeball smashed open and disintegrated. Misdreavus was just floating there. It used its psychic powers to talk to Darren and the others. "For millions of years now I have lived here, in the shadows, and that is where I shall remain" said Misdreavus. "But I caught you" said Darren. "Yes, you did, but you don't understand, you are not worthy to have me as your pokemon, you are too weak!" said Misdreavus. "No, I am not!" said Darren. "Yes you are, and you don't even realize it, you trainers do not understand what true power really is, millions of years ago, I was a different kind of pokemon, a pokemon with extreme powers, stronger than I am today, I was one of a kind, all pokemon that lived at that time was powerful, but we became too powerful, so powerful that we destroyed ourselves. A pokemon from the sky came down and struck this mountain which was a volcano back then, causing it to erupt. I was underneath this mountain, and I was destroyed, my body still remains here, but my spirit left the body and continues to live, which is what I am!" said Misdreavus. "Wow!" said Mason. "So what was you called?" said Darren. "I cannot remember, I have forgotten all of my past except of what I have told you!" said Misdreavus. "So now what are we meant to do if you don't come with us?" said Darren. "You must seal off the mountain and leave us in peace!" said Misdreavus. "But we came to explore this mountain and to look for new undiscovered pokemon!" said Mason. "They is many pokemon down here that you will not have seen and will never meat, and now I must go!" said Misdreavus and with that, it floated back into the cave. "Hey wait!" said Darren. "We better follow it!" said Lance. "Yes, come on!" said Mason. Darren Mason and Lance ran back into the cave and tried to follow Misdreavus, but when they got there, Misdreavus was nowhere to be seen "come on, lets get moving on!" said Darren and with that, they went back down to the bottom of the mountain. Darren, Mason and Lance walked for ages. They went down slopes and fell through holes, after a long walk, They got to the bottom of the cave. They was nobody around, no pokemon at all. Just then, Lance saw something at the other side of the cave. "Hey, what's this?" said Lance. He pointed to a picture on the wall. "What is it?" said Darren. Darren, Mason and Lance looked at the picture. It looked like a picture of a Pikachu. "I wonder why its here?" said Darren as he touched the picture. Suddenly, the picture glowed a bright white color. Darren moved his hand away from the picture as quickly as he could. They all moved back as the entire wall opened! They was loads of dust about so Darren, Mason and Lance couldn't see anything. "What was that?" said Mason. As the dust settled, they could see that it was another cave. Darren, Mason and Lance walked into the cave. Suddenly, the wall started to close behind them. "Darren, the wall!" said Mason. But it was too late, they were all sealed in. "Now what do we do?" said Mason.
PART 5
Darren, Mason and Lance all looked over to the other side of the cave. It was a really narrow bridge to the other side of the cave. "This looks too dangerous, we should try to find a better escape route!" said Lance. "No, we can't turn back now, we have to cross this bridge!" said Darren. "But what if its not safe?" Said Mason. "Then we will test it first to make sure" said Darren as he pulled a pokeball from his belt. He threw it in the air and out came Scizor. "Ok Scizor, I want you to check the bridge for us to make sure is safe" said Darren. Scizor stepped onto the bridge and started to slowly walk across it. Scizor got to the middle of the bridge. "Looks ok so far" said Mason. Darren, Stepped onto the bridge and started to slowly walk to the other side with Scizor. Darren and Scizor got across ok. "Its ok, come on!" said Darren. Mason and Lance slowly walked across the bridge. Lance went first and just as they got to the middle, something happened. The bridge started to wobble. The rope that was keeping the bridge up was about to snap! "Oh no!" said Mason. "Don't worry, walk slowly to me!" said Darren from the other side. Lance and Mason looked down. Under the bridge was a floor of spikes! "HELP!" said Mason. "Come on, you can do it!" said Darren. Lance and Mason started to slowly walk towards Darren at the other side of the bridge. The rope started to come loose of the bridge! Lance got to the other side, but Mason was still on the bridge. "Come on Mason!" said Darren. "I can't!" said Mason. "Come on, your only a few steps away!" said Darren. Suddenly, the rope snapped and the bridge collapsed! Mason did a huge jump and managed to grab hold of the other side of the cave. He was left hanging there! "Help me!" said Mason. "Give me your hand!" said Darren. Darren reached for masons hand and pulled him up. "Thank you!" said Mason. Darren, Mason and Lance turned around. Before them, was a stadium! At the other end of the stadium was a man. "I have foreseen your arrival, and I have also foreseen your fate and I can tell you that It's not a good one" said the voice in the background. "Who are you?" said Darren. "I am mealy a voice in the shadows" said the voice. "Show yourself" said Mason. "I'm afraid I cannot do that" said the voice. "Let us out of here at once!" said Lance. "If you want to get out of here, you will need to use an escape rope, a very powerful one, I will show it to you!" said the voice. Just then in the corner of the cave, a glow started to appear. "What is that?" said Darren. "Beats me!" said Mason. Darren, Mason and Lance steped closer. It was an escape rope. "If you want it you must prove your the chosen one!" said the voice. Then, a glow from the top of the ceiling began to glow. A figure at the top of the cave dropped down to the ground. He stood up. "My name is Dakar and I have lived down here all my life, I was the first person to discover Mount silver and all its wonders!" said Dakar. "Are you some kind of gym leader? Said Darren. "Well, you could say that, in fact, I'm probably one of the best too!" said Dakar. "So what's so special about you?" said Mason. "I have lived down here all my life and know all the pokemon in mount silver. You know of 251 pokemon, They are lots more pokemon you do not yet know about, I have seen them!" said Dakar. "What are they, what do they look like?" said Mason. "I'm afraid I cannot tell you that, I would be letting away a big secret! You will find them out soon enough!" said Dakar. "How do I know if I am the chosen one?" said Darren. "you have the shining pokemon!" said Dakar. "Shining pokemon?" said Mason. "You have one with you, a shining Gyrados, what was once the legendary shining Magikarp" said Dakar. "how did you know that?" said Darren. "I see all, I know all!" said Dakar. "Tell us more about the shining pokemon" said Darren. "They is more shining pokemon, only a few, extremely few people have never seen them because they are very hard to find and even harder to catch, but if all of them are put together, they unlock the key to the future pokemon!" said Dakar. "What kind of future?" said Lance. "It is said in ancient scrolls, that the trainer who holds the key will decide the fate for the shining pokemon and future of pokemon" said Dakar. "So, how do you know it is me?" said Darren. "You match the legend perfectly Darren, the key is the special looking pokeball you have on your belt there!" said Dakar. "You mean this?" said Darren, and he took the special looking ball from his belt. "Yes, that pokeball is unique, it was made a long time ago, by the darkness people. I am the only person left of the darkness people. We made that pokeball to catch one of the shining pokemon inside it, over 1000 of us roamed the forests all over Kanto and Jhoto. We looked high and low for over 15 years, until we finally found what we was looking for. The shining Celebi. They was only very few Celebi to begin with, but this Celebi was said to be the creator of all the Celebi. We caught it, its inside that pokeball right now! When we took it back to our village (the ruins of alph), we couldn't understand why it didn't come out of its pokeball. We tried everything to get it out, but it just wouldn't budge. Then, a terrible storm came. It destroyed everything, nothing survived. The remains of our civilization were buried deep underground by the sandstorms. Including the Celebi" said Dakar.
PART 6
"I get it, teem rocket must have dug up the Pokeball at the ruins and that's how they got it!" said Darren. "It also says in the scrolls, that it will only come out of its pokeball, if it has another of its kind with it!" said Dakar. "You mean another shining pokemon?" said Mason. "Exactly, if you open both of the pokeballs at the same time, (Gyrados and Celebi's pokeballs) Celebi will come from its pokeball, or that is what we believe" said Dakar. "Well, lets try it" said Darren. He took Celebi's pokeball and Gyrados pokeball from his belt and threw them in the air. Out came both pokemon. Gyrados first, then, a golden, shining Celebi came from the pokeball. It landed softly on the ground. "Hello Celebi, remember me?" said Dakar. Celebi nodded its head. "Using these two pokemon, I want you to find the other shining pokemon, nobody has ever seen it, and nobody even knows what it is! So the scrolls say, Its in a remote part of the orange islands, far away, called sunburst island!" said Dakar. "Sunburst island, I've been there, that's where I found Magikarp!" said Darren. "Well, it all makes sense, Magikarp must have been looking for the shining pokemon!" Said Dakar. "We must go at once!" said Darren. "Hold on, before you can see this shining pokemon, you must have the jewel!" said Dakar. "What jewel?" said Darren. "You need a special jewel so you can see the shining pokemon!" said Dakar. "Where do I get this jewel?" said Darren. "I have the jewel, but if you want it, you will have to beet me in a pokemon battle!" said Dakar. "Ok Dakar, ill battle you!" said Darren. "I will use one pokemon you may use up to 3!" said Dakar. "I wont need 3!" said Darren. "Very well, we shall see!" said Dakar. He threw a pokeball into the air. Out came Misdreavus. "So, that's your Misdreavus!" said Darren. "That is correct, it has met you once, but it will not lose again!" said Dakar. "We will see about that!" said Darren. He threw a pokeball into the air and out came Gyrados. "I knew you would pick that one, Misdreavus, use pain split." Said Dakar. Misdreavus took almost all of Gyrados hp! "Ok Gyrados, use your hyperbeam!" said Darren. Gyrados hyperbeam hit Misdreavus head on, but It went straight through Misdreavus! "What happened!?" said Darren. "Ha, hyperbeam won't work on ghost type pokemon!" said Dakar. "Ok Misdreavus, finish it with a psybeam!" said Dakar. The Psybeam hit Gyrados and it was knocked out. "Gyrados return!" said Darren. "You don't stand a chance!" said Dakar. "We will see about that" said Darren and he threw another pokeball into the air. Out came Scizor. "Scizor use a Quick attack!" said Darren. Scizor hit Misdreavus, and it looked shaken. "Ok Misdreavus, Use recover!" said Dakar. Misdreavus recovered to full health. It went on like that for quite some time before Scizor finally fainted. "Your good, but not as good as me!" said Dakar. "I have one final trick up my sleeve!" said Darren He threw out Fearow. "Ha, what attack could Fearow possibly damage Misdreavus?" said Dakar. "Nothing yet, Fearow, use Foresight!" said Darren. Fearow used its foresight attack on Misdreavus. "Oh no!" said Dakar. "Ha, now all my moves will damage Misdreavus" said Darren. "Ok Misdreavus, use perish song!" said Dakar. Misdreavus fainted instantly and so did Fearow. "So that means its a draw!" said Dakar. "Not quite!" said Darren. Fearow suddenly got back up! "What, that's impossible!" said Dakar. "Not quite, Fearow was holding a revival herb, so when it faints, it fully revives itself!" said Darren. "Oh no!" said Dakar. "Hooray!" said Mason and Lance together at the same time. "Congratulations, you are a truly powerful trainer, you must be the one the legend has talked about! Here, take this jewel, you will be able to find the shining pokemon a lot easier now!" said Dakar and he gave the Jewel to Darren. "Thankyou!" said Darren. "Its going to be a tough journey ahead of you!" said Dakar. They is 5 shining pokemon in all. An Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and A Lugia. When you find them all, you must find The legendary Ho-oh Who will come down before you!" said Dakar. "How do I find these pokemon?" said Darren. They is 3 pokemon in Kanto, one in Johto and the Ho-oh is said to be on sunburst island. Its a long journey, you must start straight away. Please take the escape rope, it will take you directly out of here and outside." Said Dakar. He gave the escape rope to Darren. With that, Dakar and Misdreavus disappeared. The mountain began to shake and rumble. "Its going to collapse!" said Lance. Darren took hold of the escape rope. Mason and Lance did too and they was transported out of the cave just before it all collapsed on them. When they got outside, the entire cave had collapsed! Darren, Mason and Lance got through the entrance just in time before in got sealed off! "Are you all ok? Said Jasmine running up to them. "Yes, were ok" said Darren. Them caves have been there for thousands of years, they shouldn't just collapse like that, do you know what made it collapse?" said Jasmine. "No, but we think we do" said Darren. "Tell me over a cup of tea and biscuits, you must be exhausted!" said Jasmine. She took Darren, Mason and Lance into the pokemon centre. They relaxed and told Jasmine everything about Misdreavus and all the other pokemon. Jasmine couldn't believe it. Just then, a one of the lab assistants came through the pokemon centre's doors. "Its amazing, we just made a remarkable discovery!" Said the lab assistant. "What kind of a discovery?" said Jasmine. "The pokemon that Darren found apart from Larvitar, can be found in the wild in Johto and Kanto, but what's so interesting is that these pokemon are at exactly the same level as you would find them in the wild, but 20X more powerful!" said the lab assistant. "That's amazing!" said Mason. "Thanks to you three, we may be onto something." Said the lab assistant and with that, he left. Jasmine was still in shock from what Darren had told her about Dakar and the shining pokemon. "So where is the jewel now?" said Jasmine. "Here" said Darren. He pulled it out of his pocket. "Does anyone else know about this?" said Jasmine. "No, only Me, Mason, Lance and You know about it" said Darren. "Then lets keep it that way, if anyone found out about this, the shining pokemon may be destroyed in many ways!" said Jasmine. "I agree, this should be kept between us and nobody else" said Mason. "I agree also" said Lance. "May I ask a favour?" said Jasmine. "Yes sure!" said Darren. "May I come along with you, I may know one place where you can find them" said Jasmine. "Ok, you can come with us if you like" said Darren. "Thanks, I also have one other bit of information for you as well!" said Jasmine. "What is it?" said Darren. "Well, a long time ago, in Kanto, they used to be a place called Seaform islands It was a giant cave with all sorts of powerful ice type pokemon It is said a powerful trainer found the Articuno, but wasn't able to catch it. It panicked and used its attacks to seal itself in the cave. Luckily the trainer got away, but the cave was sealed off so nobody could get to it ever again. Its still there, but nobody lives there exempt a man called Blaine. He used to have a gym on Cinnabar island, but it got destroyed with the volcano accident that was on the news all that time ago. He now lives in one of the Seaform island caves. If you go there, you may find the Articuno" said Jasmine. "Thanks, but what happens if its the wrong Articuno?" said Darren. "Hmmm, you could have a point there, but its worth a try." Said Jasmine. "Unfortunately Darren, I wont be coming along with you" said Mason. "Why not?" said Darren. "After that encounter with Misdreavus, and almost getting sealed in the mountain forever, its made me realise how important life really is" said Mason. "Well, I guess its goodbye then?" said Darren. "I guess so!" said Mason. Mason said goodbye to his friends and walked away.
Darren is about to get ready for his biggest adventure yet, and without the help from Mason, it looks like its going to be a lot harder for him than ever before. Get ready for his next adventure soon
