Dear Seiryuu Seishi, Hi all! I told you earlier that I was going to my first horse show on B and that I'd tell you how I did. It went *great*! On Saturday, we did two tests and got second place in both! On Sunday, we did the same two tests and got a second and a *first*! And there were nine and eleven people in the classes! And even though that judge was harsh, we got scores in the 62nd percentile (a 60% on a test is a *good* score)! I'm so happy! B got lots of hugs and sugar cubes, and he was real proud, too! He's also an idiot. On Saturday, after the second test, my boss was going to do her test on her horse. Since I wanted to watch, I put B in the trailer. Unfortunately, he doesn't like trailers, he doesn't like being away from H (my boss's horse), and the window in the trailer was facing the train tracks that were at the edge of the property. When I came back to let him out of the trailer, his shoe was lying on the ground in front of him and his blood was covering the floor. I quickly took him to the hosing-off place and washed his feet off. Luckily, he'd only skinned himself; the reason it was bleeding so much was because there is alot of blood in the hoof/ankle area. Since he was sound on Sunday morning, we were able to compete. We also made a new friend. I was sitting by the trailer holding B's lead rope while he grazed, and a cat walked up. I petted her, and she stuck around, rubbing against my hand. Curious, B leaned down to sniff her and she rubbed against his face, too! I tickled her tail against his face and he seemed to like it, 'cuz he kept on sniffing her. As I petted her, he'd put his nose on her back and wiggle his lip like he was petting her, too!
