Dear Amiboshi, HI amiboshi, it's me agian. The play was great. Hazel and I had a blast....we were supposed to go and get some ice cream after words, but we had 2g2 a retriet for our church. This week is semester exam week. Yeahh!!! ( yeah right) I have to take only a couple of exams...mainly for geometry, swimming, band (maybe),and english 2. Swimming, I just missed four practices this 6-weeks and so he's making take the semester exam. He's propbably going to make me swim 200-free in 2 minutes.( 200 means doing 4 laps, a 50 is worth 2 laps) Geometry, he's just being a real pain in the @ss so that didn't help me much. English 2, I have to because I'm not exempt from that class(We're only exempt from certain classes, It's a grade level thing) And Band, I may be exempt if Mr.B lets me off for bring my uniform in late. It's was at the cleaners and i ain't got my license yet....I've only got a permit but I'm getting my license after Christmas when I finish driving my hours ( I've only! got to drive 3 more hours^_^) Anyway, how have you been? You never become angry with Soi after she failed in her mission, and there's the fact that you saved her in the first place. Dear Chaotic Serenity,     Quite a lot of questions. 1) Incompetance that leads to failure. 2) Not really. I have a fondness for Soi. 3) It depends on their usefulness. Tomo mocked and tormented me repeatedly, but due to his position as a seishi (and power) there wasn't anything to be done about it. 4) I've felt both at different points in my life. As a child I felt inferior, but that changed as I matured. 5) As a child I did, but it doesn't bother me so much now. 6) Yes. My true faith lies in Tenkou. The seishi powers are both a blessing, because they give me power, but a curse in that they killed, directly and indirectly, the people I loved. 7) No. 8) It's not horrifying so much as unpleasant, and not something I care to partake in. 9) Nothing, but I don't read their works. Dear Soi, I'm sure everyone who knows something of the Seiryuu seishi or has seen FY in its entirety knows the story of how you met and fell in love with Nakago. However, upon reading the novel Seiran Den, I was surprised to learn that it was not in fact Nakago who saved you from the brothel itself, but a man named Tou Eichuu, Nakago's former rival for the position of shogun. In fact, Nakago only saved you for a short time from your first customer, who later ended up taking you anyway. (::stops and hugs you at this point:: Dear Seiryuu, child..you are quite a strong woman. I admire your courage.) Obviously, I was surprised by this. My shock only increased only to learn that Eichuu in fact then fell in love with you, taking you away from the brothel himself. Now, he attempted to win your heart, obviously, but that didn't work too well, and in the end, you only ended up manipulating his feelings to get information and save Nakago. I don't agree very much with the characterizations in the novel--I personally feel they contrasted heavily with what we saw in the show--but still, it was kinda...shocking. My question is whether or not you ever regretted or felt guilt at your choice to use him the way you did? I can understand that you loved Nakago and that the heart can motivate us to take actions that may hurt others, but, in all of this, did your thoughts ever center on how Eichuu may have felt about this? Nakago did take away the two things he wanted most: the position of shogun and you. And through all of this, have you ever considered the idea that maybe Nakago isn't deserving of your love? I mean, I don't dissent with your relationship--I wouldn't have written a multi-chapter epic on you two meeting in the real world if I hated you--but I'm sure you've doubted your own heart more than once or twice in the end, neh?
