Character Description: Izuru Kira is the lieutenant of the 3rd division, formerly under Gin Ichimaru. He is extremely loyal to his captain, and he defended him from the attack of his good friend Momo Hinamori. Even though he is loyal to his captain, he is loyal to his friends as well. He calls himself a monster for having fought Hinamori. Izuru's zanpakuto is activated by the phrase "Omote wo Agero", or "Show your face." It bends to a hook with two right angles and causes everything he hits to double. This is demonstrated when he fights Matsumoto. His zanpakuto has no bankai. |
