Character Description: In the beginning of the series, Rukia Kuchiki is a Soul Reaper, or Shinigami. However, she transfers her powers to Ichigo and trains him to be a substitute Soul Reaper while she resides in his closet. During this time, During this time, she registers at a local high school and lives as an ordinary human. Rukia transfers her powers to Ichigo after she is injured fighting a Hollow with him.
