Character Description: Kenpachi gave himself his own name because it means "Strongest Swordsman." He bacame the Captain of his division when he defeated and killed his previous Captain. Kenpachi is the only Captain that is not able to achieve bankai, and he does not know the name of his zanpakuto. |

Character Description: Yachiru is orphaned as a baby when her parents are murdered. Kenpachi finds her and calls her Yachiru, raising her like a daughter. She likes to give people nicknames and is a very cheerful and energetic little girl. She is often seen holding onto Kenpachi's shoulder. Even though she looks very young, Yachiru is a very strong individual. She is able to carry Kenpachi, who is significantly larger than her, and make it seem like she is not putting any effort into it. When Yachiru is annoyed or angry, she shows her spiritual energy, which is pink. Her zanpakuto has yet to release. |
