Character Description: Chad is a very strong and silent person due to the fact that he was abused as a child. He is kindhearted and cares deeply for his friends. He has a certain affection for things that are cute and small, which explains why he often chases after Kon. As a child, Chad lived with his grandfather who taught him when to use his strength. His grandfather instructed him to always use that strength to protect people who could not protect themselves. He protects Ichigo's sister and later helps Ichigo save Rukia from the Soul Society. Because of the intensity of Ichigo's spiritual energy, Chad is able to recognize his own powers. He learns of his powers when Ishida and Ichigo were having a contest to see who could kill the most Hollows. When a Hollow prepared to attack Ichigo's little sister Karin, Chad stepped in to protect her. |
