When "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" first came out as a movie,
I fell completely in love. It was one of the greatest movies I now
own. Then, years later, when the television show came out, I thought
to myself, 'It's never going to be as great as the origional'. How
wrong I was.
BTVS, as we fans so lovingly call it, has come to be one of the
single greatest television shows I have seen in all of my lifetime,
however short those 18 years may seem. As I began to get more and
more into the show, almost missing out on seeing it at all due to my
skepticism, I found the characters and plots to be some of the most
creative I have ever watched. The idea that so much can happen
everywhere and noone even knows about it intrigued me. Joss' mind
created this wonderful world where a regular highschool
girl was transoformed into one of the most admirable Slayers in
history. Her watcher one of the smartest and best training. Her
two friends turned from extrodinary, one becoming a most powerful
Witch and the other taking his bravery to astounding heights.
Along the way we met some incredible characters, vampires, demons,
ex-demons, witches, you name it, it was there. And this creativity
and fiction mixed with such colorful fact created a wonderful setting
for a great show. Throughout the show, every plot we could conceive
has been examined and used to delight and enjoy us, as well as bring
tears and a saddening pain to our hearts. It truely brought out the
'human' in all of us.
And so, in saying this very, very fond Farewell, we wish the
cast and crew of Buffy the Vampire Slayer a wonderful life and many
thanks. But our thanks most of all goes to Joss Whedon for his
creative inspiration that has fueled all our interest in the show
and "Angel".

Heroic efforts that have saved the world so very many times, and
a good friend will be missed. Survived by Dawn Summers, sister.
We'll miss you , Sarah!

Willow Anne Rosenberg
Alyson Hannigan
An advanced Witch, stong-minded and a wonderful friend. Your
companionship will never be forgotten by the fans. Living on forever.
We'll miss you, Alyson!

Alexander Harris
Nicholas Brendon
Fondly known as 'Xander', a comical, yet brave friend of the
Slayer and Willow, the laughs and the tears with you will never be
forgotten. We'll miss you, Nicholas!

Rupert Giles
Anthony Stewart Head
Watcher of the slayer and ever kind and caring father-figure,
your wisdom and guidance will not be lost to us. We'll miss you,
Anthony!

Joyce Summers unknown-2001
Kristine Sutherland
Mother to the Slayer and the Key and maker of the most wonderful
hot chocolate Spike's ever had (With those little marshmellows), Mrs.
Summers was one of the most beloved mothers of Sunnydale. Your memory
lives on, Joyce. We'll miss you, Kristine!

Dawn Summers
Michelle Trachtenberg
Dawn, also the Key to Earth's destruction, may have been around
a short time, but is dearly loved by many fans. Through Buffy's memory
Dawn can keep going and we'll support her all the way. We'll miss you,
Michelle!

William the Bloody a.k.a. Spike
James Marsters
One of the most lovable and ever changing characters, Spike will
always have a special place in our hearts. May he find the strength to
keep going after Buffy's sacrifice. We will always love and support
him. We'll miss you dearly, James!

Anya formerly Anyanka
Emma Caulfeild
Adorably outspoken Anya, learning to be human as best she can. We
will always laugh with your bluntness and help you to be who you strive
to be. Be strong for Xander. We'll miss you, Emma!

Tara
Amber Benson
Though newer to the Buffy crew, you are already a part of the circle
of friends. Thank you for keeping Willow safe and adding a new friend
to all our lives. We'll miss you, Amber!

Riley Finn
Marc Blucas
Though in Buffy's life for a short time, with understanding due to
the surrounding circumstances, it was nice to see someone from a real
home town in Sunnydale for a while. Thank you for the memories. We'll
miss you, Marc!

Harmony Kendall
Mercedes McNab
Harm, you have kept us well entertained and kept Spike tame for a while
and for that, you have made our lives, even if just a little, more exciting.
Thanks for the memories. We'll miss you, Mercedes!

Jenny Calender
unknown-2000
Robia LaMorte
Ms. Calender, though you were also there for only a little while, you
made great impact in the others lives and our lives. For your courage
and your sacrifice, we thank you. We'll miss you, Robia!

Oz
Seth Green
Though you have made some less than considerable decisions, your love
and caring for Willow has earned you a great spot in our hearts. Wolf...
man, it doesn't matter. Thank you for the memories and the music. We'll
miss you, Seth!

Amy Madison
Elizabeth A. Allen
Though for most of the seasons in the last you were a rat, your
involvment and magickal help in the first seasons makes you no less
important than anyone else. Your help toward Willow is comenable. We'll
miss you, Elizabeth!

Drucilla
Juliet Landau
Sweet, crazy Dru. Your insanity and forsight has made you an
unforgettable part of the entire group. Your ramblings of the future and
talking dolls will stick with us. Thank you for the fun memories. We'll
miss you, Juliet!

Faith
Eliza Dushka
Though evil at first, your change of heart and great entertaining
wit has kept us on the edge of our seats. A great (though somehow
corrupted) slayer, you will also always have a place here. We'll miss
you, Eliza!
Special Tributes

Sophia Crawford
Stunt double for Sarah Michelle Gellar, you have done a spectacular
job at portraying the physical strength and power of the slayer. We
pay special tribute to you. Thank you, Sophia!

Joss Whedon
And last, but most certainly not least, creator of "Buffy the Vampire
Slayer", Joss Whedon. Joss, there are no words to thank you, but I'll
try to as best I can. You have created a world in which our imaginations
can run free and for that we thank you dearly. We will miss your wonderful
tales and adventures that come the Slayer and her gang's way. And,
as a special tribute to you, the cast and the crew, on June 5th, I will
open the Fan Memorial and Dedications sections with the names and
comments of devoted BTVS and Angel fans. Thank you and we will miss you
very much, Joss!!!
