                                         Time Warp

TWO WEEKS LATER......
	"Is not!"
	"Is too!"
	"Is not!"
	"Is too!
	"Is-"
	"WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP!" Amber yelled at the arguing Buffy 
and Spike. She had no idea how her boyfriend and her friend had 
lasted this long without ripping each others heads off and handing 
them out on silver platters. It seemed impossible to get those 
two to agree on anything. Even dinner.
	"Amber, tell him! Tell him that it is so true that you can 
get sick from eating anchovies on pizza! I read it in Cosmo!" Buffy 
wined.
	"Oh, well then it must me true!" Spike mocked then scowled 
at the aggitated Slayer.
	"Oh shut up!"
	"You Shut up!"
	"No! You Shut up!"
	"No! You-"
	"NO! BOTH OF YOU JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!" Amber rubbed her 
temples trying to ignore the small giggles coming from her two 
sisters. She turned to Buffy. "Buffy, I don't think you can get 
sick from them unless your allergic," Spike smiled. "However, 
seeing as how those little fish disgust me to no end, we aren't 
getting them anyhow." Spike frowned as Buffy smiled arrogantly 
at him and sauntered into the kitchen to order the pizza.
	"Peeeetttt....," Spike wined looking at her annoyed 
expression.
	"Spike. I hate anchovies. They look alive and have everything 
still intact. That, my dear is disguting and I refuse to even look 
at them." Amber shivered thinking of the tiny fish eyes staring 
up at her. "eeehhh."
	Angel giggled. Amanda soon joined in. Even Giles couldn't keep 
the smile off his face.
	Anya and Xander decided to stay home that night seeing as 
how it was their anniversery and Willow was practicing some new 
spells with Tara that was going to last late. So now he was stuck 
here with three fates, an irritated vampire and a gloating 
slayer. 'Would the fun never stop.' he deadpanned in his mind. 
'Oh joy is my life.' he though rolling his eyes before standing 
and making his way to the kitchen to prepare the drinks for 
their dinner. 
	The group was researching a new demon. One that supposedly 
had time travel abilities.
They hadn't 
found much on it lately, but were working as hard as they could. 
They had decided only recently that they were going to order pizza 
and that was when the resident vampire and much annoyed 
slayer took up arguing. Both Giles and Amber had complained 
of a headache since then.
	Spike pouted sitting down in the recliner with his arms 
crossed. Amber smiled. He resembled a pouting child who couldn't 
have his way. Sauntering up to him and placed her hands on 
her hips and looked down at him. "Spike. Stop pouting."
	Spike just frowned even deeper and Amber sighed a fake sigh 
of annoyance before placing her hands on either side of the 
recliner and capturing Spike's lips in a ferocious kiss. Spike 
automatically grabbed her waist with one arm, pulling her down 
onto his lap and the other behind her head pulling her mouth closer 
and deepening the kiss.
	After a few moments, the two pulled apart and Amber ran 
her finger down his cheek. "Now will you stop pouting?" she grinned.
	Spike chuckled and nodded slightly before pulling her 
lips back to his for another kiss.
	Buffy rolled her eyes as she came back into the room. "Do 
they ever stop?" she asked Giles who just smiled and shrugged 
and followed her back into the main living room. The two sat 
down beside the other two fates who were involved in watching 
'Haunted History'. 

ONE WEEK LATER...
	
	"Buffy watch out!" Amber yelled as the large greyish green 
demon kicked at her Slayer friend. Buffy ducked just in time and 
grabbed his foot before throwing him to the ground. The demon 
scrambled up. 
	"Pesky Slayer," it's voice gurgled." I'll rid myself of 
you for good and open the hellmouth and there will be no way for 
you to stop me!" he screeched before letting out a loud yell 
that created sound waves. All the scoobies and the fates clapped 
their hands over their ears and watched in amazement as the 
vibration of the sound ripped open a portal directly in front 
of the demon. With a snort he leaped through, the whole closing 
behind him. 
	Amber ran forward followed by her two sisters. "Oh no!" Angel yelled. 
	"This isn't good." Amanda added, shaking her head in disbeleif.
	"What was that??" the Slayer asked coming to stand beside 
her friends. 
	"That, was a Vakrasi Demon and he just opened a time portal. 
That means he could go back or forward to anytime and open the 
hellmouth when your not there!" Angel moaned, rubbing her temples.
	"What? Damn!" Buffy yelled and threw down her stake.	
	Spike watched as Amber stood there silently staring ahead 
to where the demon had left. He walked up to stand beside her 
and put his hand on her shoulder. "What is it, pet?" he asked.
	She turned to him with a look on her face that made his mind 
whirl in confusion. "We have to hurry,we have to go." she said 
quietly.
	"What? Go where?"
	"After him" Amanda said catching on to her sisters idea.
	"But...how? We dont even know where or...when I guess, he 
went." Willow said looking between the sisters.
	"No," Amber said turning to look at her, her hair swaying 
around her face."But we can find out."
	"What? How?" Spike caught her attention again.
	"I can feel it. I am a fate, remember?" she grinned. 
Reaching her arm out in front of her, Amber's hand floated up 
until her finger tips stretched out and touched where the demon 
had left. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the feeling and 
the time. Moments later her eyes popped open and she turned to 
look at Buffy. "I know where he's gone, but we must go now or we will 
not be able to stop him in time." she said urgently.
	"Alright then," Buffy stepped up, grabbing her ax from the 
grass at her feet and tapping it on her palm. "Let's catch 
ourselves a demon."


	The three girls stood togather and brought all their hands up 
in front of them, palms down, fingertips stretched out. Closing
 their eyes, the three began to hum the exact same tune, vibrating
 as the demon had done before. The Slayer and her friends, once 
again closed their ears as the sound became high pitched and 
loud. Within seconds a portal that could  be a replicate of 
the one the demon had created appeared, swirling brightly. The 
humming stopped and the girls let their hands drift down to their 
sides. Amber, on the left of the three turned her head to the group. 
"Alright, lets go."
	"Alright, about time we had a real adventure." Spike sighed.
	"No!" Amber's voice rang clear. "Only the Slayer must come. We 
cannot risk taking more then us and her. Anymore and the portal 
could collapse in on us all. Only the Slayer goes with us. Im sorry 
Spike but you need to stay here. We wont be long, so dont worry." 
she smiled. "We'll be back soon. Come along, Buffy."
	Buffy nodded to her friends to stay and followed the three fates,
 jumping into the portal. Moments later, the portal closed and 
Spike threw his weapon down on the ground in fury. "Damn!"



	SUNNYDALE 1902...

	Buffy stood up, brushing off the back of her pants. "Uh! 
What is that SMELL!?" she gasped, pinching her nose. She looked 
around in confusion. "Where are we?" They were in an alleyway beside 
some old stone buildings.
	"Dont you mean when?" Angel asked as she walked in front of 
her friend out of the alleyway and into the cobblestone 
street.
	"Ok, so, when?"
	Angel turned and shrugged. "Don't know." she grinned at the 
Slayers annoyed facade.
	Amanda looked around then rubbed her chin before answering, 
"Judging from the clothing and the most prominent stench," she 
stopped to wave her hand over her nose in disgust." I'd say 
somewhere around the early 1900's. Not sure exactly when. Style 
doesn't change that often back then...uh now."
	"LOOK!" Buffy yelled and the fates turned to see the demon 
scrambling through a crowd of screaming people in the dark alley 
across from them. "Come on! We have to follow him!"
	Taking off a full speed, Buffy quickly started to catch up 
with the demon, the three sisters not far behind her. Catching it 
off guard, she jumped and kicked at it's back knocking it forward 
before rushing over to kick before picking up her ax and bringing 
it down on the demon. A screech filled the air as it opened it's
 mouth and let out that horrible ear bursting noise. Buffy flew 
back and slammed into a pile of garbage against the wall as the 
demon jumped through another portal it had created. 
	The sisters ran up to the fallen Slayer and helped her up. 
	"Where did he go?" Amanda asked quickly.
	Huffing, Buffy replied. "He- *gasp* he opened another 
*wheeze* portal." she pointed to her left. "There." she said 
holding her side. Amber walked over and once again held up her 
hand to the air. 
	"I've got a lock on him, but not for long." she said turning 
to look at the Slayer who was waving off the other sisters heading 
toward Amber. 
	"Then let's go. We have to get to him before he finishes his 
job." she replied standing upright again.
	Nodding her head at Buffy, Amber signaled for her sisters 
to begin the circle with her.



	SUNNYDALE  40,000 B.C.....

	The four fell on a marsh of grass, saving them from hurt 
tailbones. Standing up, Angel looked around wiping off the mud from 
her jeans. "Where are we?"
	"It's gotta be before colonization." Amber said taking in the 
surroundings. It was a large lush forest area covered in green, 
not a sign of polution in sight. This was definatly a nice place 
she could get used to.
	A roar from behind them made the four freeze and slowly turn 
around, their eyes going wide.
	"Oh..."
	"My...."
	"Goddess....." Angel finished.
	Moments later screams filled the lush jungle area as the 
four ran from the large very hungry Tyranusaurus Rex, large and 
drooling with the thought of four nice living creatures 
for lunch. Seconds later a second Rex joined the chase, only 
this time he was chasing the demon that the girls had been after.
 So the five end up running side by side, not having time to notice 
each other in their panic. 
	"Quick! Split up!" Buffy yelled and ran off after the demon,
 being chased by one of the T-Rex's and the three fates split 
up, Angel being the one that the dinosour decided to go after. She 
screamed at the top of her lungs and the two other sisters 
continued running but now had doubled back to come behind the 
T-Rex. 
	Yelling to her sister, Amanda brought up a plan."AMBER! 
WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!" she yelled. "ONE OF US SHOULD JUMP 
ON IT'S TAIL WHILE THE OTHER ONE BLINDS IT OR SOMETHING!"
	Amber looked at her like she was nuts. "YOUR NUTS! NOT ME! 
I'M GOING TO FREEZE TIME. WE'LL ONLY HAVE TEN SECONDS, BUT THAT
 SHOULD BE ENOUGH!" she screamed back to Amanda. Unfortunatly
 for them, Angel hadn't heard and was still off running as 
fast as she could, screaming at the top of her lungs in fear.
	"ANGEL!" Amber yelled causing Angel to stop and turn. "COME ON!" 
she shouted. Once her sister was to her she continued. "We only have 
a few seconds left, let's get out of here and find Buffy!"
	Running off the sisters didn't see the time start again 
and the dinosour stop in confusion, making a whimper for loosing 
it's lunchtime meal. Clomping off, it went to look for it's friend 
in the opposite direction.
	The girls dashed through the folliage and brush, hurrying as 
fast as they could to find their Slayer friend. They stopped moments 
later.
	"Look, we're never going to find her this way, we need to 
split up or try something." Amber said.
	"I could do a locator spell." Angel put in.
	"Great! Do that."
	"One problem." 
	"What?" Amanda asked.
	"It only works if she's standing still, otherwise I'll 
just hone in on everything moving and it will be no luck."
	Two groans could be heard throughout the forest.
	"Angel..."
	"I'll try it anyhow, hang on."
	Placing her hands on her forehead, Angel closed her eyes and 
let her third eye open and look upward. It began skimming over 
the forest, coming upon many creatures and beings that she never 
thought she'd get to see with human eyes before coming to a stop on 
Buffy, who was thankfully standing still, very still actually, 
hiding behind a tree as the Dinosour looked for her and the Vakrasi 
Demon.
	"FOUND HER!" Angel yelled causing her sisters to jump and smack 
her on the arms.
	"What?" she asked meekly.
	"Come on, let's go. We need to get to her as soon as possible. 
I forgot to mention to her that we can't stay too long in a time or 
we'll be stuck there." Amber said, earning groans of her own as 
the girls darted off to find Buffy.

	She was trying not to breathe loudly, she was trying not to 
breathe at all, she really was but obviously it wasn't helping 
because the dinosour was getting closer and closer. Soon it was 
on the other side of the tree she was hiding on, her back flat 
against it, her eyes wide with fear. This was SO not how she 
pictured dying. Vampires, sure. The Hellmouth opening, yeah. A car 
wreck she could even believe, but this was stretching it. She was
 prepared to handle DINOSOURS for God's sakes! She heard it's 
snout as it's breath rushed past her on each side and she knew it
 must have smelled her. Not taking the chance that it didn't, she 
began to run again only to be met with a loud screech
ing roar from 
the monster as it resumed the chase.


	Amber stopped and put her hands out to stop her sister, 
accidentally clotheslining Angel in the process since she was 
running too fast and didn't see the arm. "sorry ang." she grinned
 sheepishly before turning back to listen."Did you guys hear that?"
 she asked. The girls didn't have time to answer as the dinosours 
yell came again. Running in the direction, the two, then third 
sister made their way towards the sound.
	What they found made them stop in their tracks. There was 
Buffy, covered in blood....green blood and trying to wipe it off. 
She spotted the girls, who were looking at the dinosour on
 the ground. 
	"Yeah shocked me too. I just happened to get him to run into
 a tree. It knocked his head good and of course like always the
 blood splashed all over me. I think he's just unconcious."
 she said looking at the dinosour in amusment.
	"That's not why I'm staring at it." Angel said in horror.
	"Oh yeah, that. Weird huh? Who would have thought it?"
	"Exactly. I just thought some werido came up with that. 
Who knew he was right?"
	The four started to walk away to find the demon still discussing 
the dinosour.
	"Who would have thunk it....a purple dinosour." Angel shuddered 
thinking of Barney and the strange purple dinosour now left unconcious 
on the ground...


	It only took them five minutes to find the demon. 
	"Well that sucks. I was hoping to get to kill him." Buffy 
sighed angrily as the four watched the now dead demon being chomped 
by the first dinosour.
	"Oh well, now we can go back." Amanda sighed.
	"Uh, we might want to do it quickly." Angel said nervously.
	"Why?" Buffy asked, then caught her look and followed it 
up to another TRex staring down at them hungrily. Then it began to 
lean down towards them! Quickly chanting the spell the four vanished 
just as the dinosours teeth closed around the ground. It chewed at
 the dirt for a moment before looking around the ground confused.


	SUNNYDALE  PRESENT DAY...

	The four trudged into Giles', covered in green and brown and
 smelling very vile. Spike began to hug Amber, then thought second
 of it, which made her growl before rushing off to claim the 
shower first.
	"So...how..how did it go?" Giles asked wiping off his 
glasses.
	"Very tiring." Buffy sighed plopping down onto the recliner.
 "What?" she asked at the dissaproving look Giles gave her. He simply
 sighed and left to get him a drink.
	"Oh and you wont believe this!" Angel started. "You know 
Barney? Well we saw...."
