Slayers
Slayers is a funny, popular sword and sorcery fantasy series showing the adventures of a powerful 15 year old sorceress named Lina Inverse. Slayers is also divided into two storylines: Slayers and Slayers Special. In the Slayers Special series Lina¡¯s companion is mainly Naga. The Special series describe the events in Lina's life, which took place before the Slayers series, so Lina is younger in Special series. Then for some reason Naga is no longer with Lina and seems to have disappeared by the beginning of the Slayers storyline.
Personally.. I like the Slayers Next season better than The Slayers, Slayers Try, and Slayers Special, because it has a more interesting story too it. But I do recommend you to see The Slayers before anything else. The Slayers gives you a lot of information and introduces all the characters.
This anime may seem a little bit childish but once you understand the whole series... you won't think that way anymore. There's way too much going on. Also when your watching the anime, make sure to pay attention when they are explaining things about the Dark Lords and Holy Dragons.
