Episode 1 - The Arrival of Raditz |
| A long-haired survivor of the Sayian race lands on earth in a space pod. This alien, whos' name is Raditz appears looking for someone named Kakarot(Gokou). After a short ecounter with a human armed with a shortgun, Raditz is soon on his way to find Gokou.
Meanwhile, Gokou is set to take his son Gohan to the Kame house to introduce him to "the gang."
Raditz encounters Piccolo. Before Raditz fights piccolo however, he gets another reading, that of Gokou and decides to head of.After being away for seven years, Bulma
visits the Kame House.
Goku arrives later, and introduces Gohan to
everyone. Raditz soon
appears. Kuririn, unaware of the strength Raditz possesses,
attempts to show him off the island and is wacked across the face and sent flying through the kame house. Raditz then tells Gokou that he's his brother and goes on to tell him about the Sayians and
himself. Raditz wants Gokou to join him but Gokou isn't taking any of it.

Episode 2 - The World's Strongest Team |
| Raditz leaves with Gohan and orders gokou to destroy all humans. Gokou is angry and does evrything to stop Raditz but Raditz is too powerful. Piccolo shows up and wants to join forces with Gokou to fight Raditz. of the world. Gokou accepts, and the two of them pursue Raditz,
using Bulma's Dragon Radar to follow the Dragonball attached to
Gohan's hat. Raditz returns to his pod and locks Gohan inside of it. However, Gohan has a power level that makes Raditz think that his scouter is broken. . When Goku and Piccolo arrive, however,
Raditz realizes that the Scouter is working normally and thinks back on Gohans power level. Gokou and Piccolo remove their weighted clothing. The two attack Raditz,
but even both of them together are no match for Raditz.

Episode 3 - Gohan's Hidden Powers |
| Goku and Piccolo face off against Raditz
. However, they soon figure out that they're no match for the Sayian — Piccolo's arm is vaporized by a near-miss
from an energy blast. Goku draws Raditz's attention as Piccolo
unleashes, his new attack.
However, Raditz dodges the blast in the nick of time! Goku uses
the opportunity to grab Raditz's tail, and put Raditz at his mercy. However
Raditz talks Gokou into letting him go and being the good natured warrior,
Gokou does so.Raditz then turns on his word and attacks gokou!
Meanwhile Gohan, who had been watching Raditz beat up
his father,explodes out of the pod amazing everyone of his hidden powers. In a burst of rage
Gohan skull-blows Raditz in the chest, cracking his armor and knocking
him back. Raditz is stunned and injured , but recovers quickly.

Episode 4 - Gokou's unusual Journey |
| As Raditz is
about to kill Gohan, whose power level drop back to almost nothing, Gokou sneaks up and grabs him in a super hold. Gokou tells Piccolo
to do his new attack again even if it meant Gokou had to go out with Raditz.
Piccolo's attack fatally pierces both
of their bodies. Piccolo informs Raditz that
Gokou can be wished back with the dragonballs.
Meanwhile two other Sayians pick up on Raditz's scouter and hears about the dragonballs and the wish.
the two Sayians decide to come to Earth in search of these dragonballs.
Raditz with his last words informs everyone that the other two Sayians are on their way to Earth.
Soon after, Kurillin, Bulma and the others catch up and witnesses Gokou's final goodbye as his body dissappears.
Gokou arrives at the gates of the "Otherwrold". Here he meets King Yama. Gokou chooses to
train with the great King Kai,
. After receiving King Yama's
permission, Goku is lead to the head of the almost never ending
Serpentine Road, the route between King Yama's palace and King Kaio's tiny planet. Meanwhile on Earth,
Piccolo uses a special power to regrow his destroyed arm.
Knowing that the Sayians will arrive in 1 Year, he decides
to take Gohan under his training and help him to control his hidden power. Kurillin is left to break the bad news to Gohan's mother.

Episode 5 - Gohan's Metamorphesis |
| Gohan is left in the middle of
the wasteland to survive on his own.
Piccolo insists that he must first learn to survive on his own before he can learn to fight.
Gohans is about to face lots of obstacles and dangers, unlike anything he can understand.
Meanwhile, Gokou in his efforts to save time by leaping along snake way slips and almost falls off.
On the other hand, Kurillin has his hands full with breaking the bad news to Gohan's mother, Chi Chi.
Knowing that Chi Chi along with Bulma can be very hot tempered, Kurillin is beside himself he gets to Chi Chi's house. Kuririn, unable to talk to Chichi and
her father, the Ox King, about Gohan and Goku, returns to the Kame House where
the Turtle Hermit and Bulma are waiting for him. Yajirobe then
shows up to inform them that Kammi has decided to train the remaining Z-fighters.
The Ox King and Chichi are hot on Kuririn's trail, in search of
her husband and child. Piccolo continues to watch over Gohan,
but when Gohan awakes to a full moon, he
transforms into a giant ape! Piccolo realizes that
the full moon is the cause of Gohan's metamorphosis, and destroys
it. Gohan goesback to his normal sefl and piccolo removes his tail and gives him a new outfit with a sword.

Episode 6 - Gohan makes a friend |
| During the past seven years, Yamucha had
been working on the side as a professional baseball player. In
the middle of a game, he is pulled out of a brawl by Kuririn with
the news of Goku's death and the upcoming attack from the two Sayians.
The two of them meet up with Bulma and leave for training at
Kami's place.
Meanwhile, Gohan accidentally shares
a cave with an injured Brontosaur, and after a fright, befriends it by tending to its wounds. However, while he
is away his new found friend is attacked by another dinosaur and Gohan on return is unable to save his friend.

Episode 7 - Trouble in Arlia |
| As Gohan endures his survival training,
he becomes stronger so much so that the meat-eating dinosaur
has had the tables turned, and is instead being eaten from the
tail up by Gohan. Elsewhere, Vegeta and
Nappa, the two Saiyans headed for Earth, take a short detour to
attack Arlia, a planet populated by insect-people. The two let
themselves be captured and are taken to the King Maio's
castle. In the dungeons they are imprisoned with the prince,
but are brought in front of the tyrant King and a mysterious female
insect. There, Nappa single-handedly defeats their guards, as
well as the monster kept as a last line of defense!
After killing the king, Vegeta leaves
the castle in ruins, where the now-freed prince is reunited with
his bride. But Vegeta decides that the planet is worthless, and
destroys it with a single blast from orbit.

Episode 8 - Home for the infinite Losers |
| Gohan is in the middle of his
own training when he is swallowed by the resulting quake from Piccolo's training mistake! Panicked
for his life, he barely escapes with his skin.
. Kuririn and Bulma finds Tien and Chaozu training near a waterfall after hearing the news of the Sayians and Gokou, Tien
also decides to accept Kami's training.
On Snake Way, Gokou has hitched
a ride on a passing street sweeper. Exhausted, he falls asleep
and an accidental bump causes him to fall off the road! Gokou ends up in Hell, where he meets two heavily-muscled guardian demons. He
makes a bargain with them: If he can outperform them at one
game of their choice each, they'll have to show him back to Snake Way.
Goku manages to prevail over the two demons They try to put him back on the Road using a seesaw,
but Goku keeps smacking his head on the invisible one-way barrier
between Heaven and Hell. Lacking any other way to keep their side
of the deal, they show him the secret route back to the Snake Way. Gokou ends up at the start and has to travel Snake Way all over again.

Episode 9 - Princess Snake's Hospitality |
| Kurilliin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu
and Yajirobe gather at Kami-sama's temple and begin their training.
Meanwhile, Goku continues on Snake Way. He come across a Castle and thinking it's King Kai's he enters. Inside, he meets the Snake Princess and her attendants.
.In an effort to keep Gokou there, the Princess tries gives him
food, dance and a hot bath, but when none of these stop him from trying to
continue along the path, she plays her ace card: a sleeping potion. Soon Gokou sees that it was all an illusion and that the Princess is an evil reptile goddess, tempting travellers along the
road! Goku narrowly escapes the castle, which after the illusion
turns out to be the goddess's body, a monstrous fire-breathing
snake! As she pursues him, he manages to tangle her up into a
knot, and continues along.

Episode 10 - Escape from Piccolo |
| Seven months remain until the Saiyans
reach Earth! Piccolo is still concentrating heavilly on his training. Elsewhere, Gohan is planning his escape from the wasteland Gohan in his attemps on a sznd craft finds the Ocean seeing that he was on an island he decides to build a wraft a raft from what he found from the neardby forest. He sets out at sea only to be engolfed by a terrible storm.Gohan washes up on a beach, and is found by some orphans. Gohan becomes good friends with them and even help thme to stand up against the head of the orphanage and the police.
Gohan soon wants to leave to see his mother and he escapes with an older boy who helps him find the way. Gohan, however, after some thinking decides not to see his mother and starts out back to the forest.He soon discovers Piccolo,
who reminds him of his mission, and takes the boy back
to the island.
