Puppy mills are horrible places where dogs are breed only to make profit. Dogs should only be breed about once every other "heat" or less in order to keep the dog healthy. Mill dogs are breed every single "heat" and given little to no break. These poor dogs have deplorable lives, they have no contact with people, nor a name. Most if not all of these dogs will never know the feeling of a soft warm bed or even the simple act of eating a meal out of a bowl instead of some kibble thrown on the floor. Assuming the dog is lucky enough to eat every day. It is your job as a human being to help stop puppy mills by investigating where you are purchasing your dog. Many mills puppies are sold in pet stores and sold through adds on the internet and news papers. The majority of these puppies come from Lancaster County Pennsylvania and are sold by the Amish. The Amish view these dogs like live stock, which is only a means to make money. Again please as a human being stop puppy mills!
