Hugs, Love and Prayers Subject: Prayer Need For Friend's Grandson ... Update and prayer request: Colby still has a brain bleed of a grade 3,which has caused the ventricles in his brain to swell causing an obstruction of blood flow.This caused his head to begin to expand due to spinal fluid building up around his brain. He is having lumbar irrigations to relieve swelling. this is allowing pressure to decrease.(this is a great thing) Jake and Amanda's prayer The bleed would stop completely so the spinal fluid will flow with no blockage! Pray that his lugs will get stronger so he can grow and be able to breath on his own (ventilator free). And that he would continue to receive his feeds and even increase his feeds,he is now @ 11cc per feeding. he is close to 3lbs and 15.5 in long and is 19 days old.
