About Me
Who Am I?
I'm
Jonathan MacMullen. I live in Fernandina Beach, Florida, which in case you've
never heard of it, (which I'm sure you probably haven't), is a small island
(ghost town) about 45 minutes north of Jacksonville (which hopefully you HAVE
heard of). Anyways, I'm currently a college student attending UNF and I have
absolutley, positively, no idea what in the world I want to do with my life, but
since I'm currently only 19 years of age, I think that's ok!
You know a lot of people ask me why I like PT Cruisers. I'm not sure why
that is to be perfectly honest, but I can tell you how I ended up with one. When
I turned 16 my parents gave me a used, beat-up, ex work truck, a 1994 Chevy
S-10. That's how I got into the customizing scene. I couldn't stand how ugly
this junker was so I did everything that my wallet would allow me to do...which
wasn't very much. After a while the truck just started causing problems and my
parents realized it was time to get me something else. So with a little bit of
searching and a bit of luck, my parents brought me home a practically brand-new
2000 Chevy Xtreme (S-10 with ground effects for those of you who don't know).
This was a dream come true for me. I now had a great canvas to work with and I
instantly set to work doing everything that I possibly could to trick this truck
out...which unfortunately still wasn't very much. I didn't really end up doing a
lot to this truck either, mainly because of the fact that I had no money coming
in, but more so because I was slowly realizing that a standard cab pick-up truck
just wasn't cutting it for a 17 year old with a lot of friends and a job. I
started to set my eye on trading the Xtreme in for something with some more
space, something like a Blazer or some kind of SUV. I wasn't huge on this idea
because the humungous SUV's don't really do it for me and I'd always been more
into sporty compact vehicles. While exploring my options I decided to play
around and see if anyone made ground effects and accessories for my mom's PT
Cruiser, a 2001 Inferno Red PT Cruiser. Sure enough Xenon made some pretty
awesome accessories for the cruiser and there were a ton of other companies with
parts. To make a long story short, my mom handed the PT Cruiser down to me and
she drove her other car for the time being. And...to make an even longer story
even shorter, I eventually traded the red PT in for my 2003 Deep Cranberry PT
Cruiser GT. Anyways...that's how I ended up with the PT Cruiser GT.
On another note, back to who I
am. I'm not one of the click kids, I don't really fit into any specific group.
I'm my own person and I do my own thing. I like all kinds of music...anything
from rock to classical, I even like a few select country songs. I live by the
beach, but I don't go there too often. If I'm not working and I'm not at
school...I'm probably working on my car or just relaxing all day long with my
fiancee Noelle. We love to just sit around and watch movies, tv, play games,
cook food, just stuff that doesn't require a whole lot of thinking or energy. On
the other hand we do go out and ride bikes or go on walks and do things like
that too.
Anyways that pretty much sums me
up. There's a lot more to me but I don't want to get into my life story or
anything. I'm sure you have other things to be doing besides reading my lame
"about me" page.
