back PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 11-18-2002 KAMIKAZE Art Gallery and Media Center ANOTHER MULTIMEDIA ART EXPLOSION On November 23, there is a one night exhibition with visual art, video screenings, and performances at the KAMIKAZE at 9pm, with the performances and screenings at 10:00pm. The KAMIKAZE is at 435 Ellicott Street. There is a donation of 3 dollars at the door and seating is limited so arrive early. There will be photography and video by Cliff Borres, drawings by Nicholas Golebiewski, photographs by Anna Chiratta, prints by Pat Buckley, paintings and performances by Colin Hargraves and Tom Holt, in addition to a performance by Brain Milbrand, and video work by Calder Greenwood, Soyeon Jung, and John Logan, plus special surprise events. A group of young Buffalo artists (the Yba’s) have opened, curate, and run their own art gallery and media center in downtown Buffalo. The spirit of the Kamikaze is a direct response for the immediate production of artwork with no down time.
