Episode 38 (cont)

(Zorro and Bernardo discover a cannon that the Eagle intends to use to take control of the pueblo. In order to prevent this, they attempt to destroy the cannon, running into a little problem. While getting the cannon ready to for them to blow up, Bernardo is trapped by the wagon. Zorro tries to free Bernardo before the cannon explodes.)

(Zorro freed Bernardo, but he himself was not able to escape in time, and was caught in the blast.)


After the explosion Bernardo finds Zorro's cape and wretched sword, and there appears such grief on his face that I always want to cry, thinking like Bernardo that Zorro didn't survive it; when a displeased loud voice declares:

"Are you going to get me out of here or not?" This moment always gives me the creeps of happiness, that Zorro is still alive and will ride on and on again.
