Thought it would be nice
To get my portrait taken
When I returned to see the proofs
I said, "You've gotta be mistaken
Those aren’t my pictures
When was my mother here?"
She looked at me with confusion
And said, “Those are of you, dear”

I saw my mother standing there

Never realized until today
