I hope you enjoyed the Memorial and Dedication to the U.S.S. Little
and her crew as well as the other interesting informational websites.

To commemorate the passing of 60 years since the sinking of the
USS LITTLE DD803 and to honor those friendships between
shipmates who survived, I dedicate this poem.




~ REUNION ~

Sixty years! Seems like
yesterday,
Other times, a millennium
away.
~
It matters not years have
passed,
Our friendships will always
last.
~
Our time together sets time
apart,
Rekindles fond memories of
the heart.
~
Time passes...sweet and
bittersweet,
Yet counts as naught when
shipmates meet.

USS Little shipmates, family, and friends meet every year for a reunion
in a different region of the USA. Missing from that group are 37 crew
members whose whereabouts are unknown.

It is our hope someone viewing these USS LITTLE webpages will know
one of those missing sailors, or one of their family members,
and let them know their shipmates would like to hear from them
or, better yet, meet them at the next reunion.
