*N Sync Theories

Sometimes, you've really got to wonder about the guys. And sometimes you don't stop wondering. And then you start thinking up all of these theories that probably are totally untrue, but it doesn't matter cuz it's your site and you can put whatever you want on it, so there! ahem. So, here are some of ours:


Q:Why does Lance have such perfect eyebrows?
A:When he was little, his sister wanted to pluck her eyebrows, but she was worried about messing up on her own. So she experimented with Lance, and they never grew back.

Q:Why is Chris so short/has such a high voice?
A:Growing up in a family of 5 girls does that to ya.

Q: Why did JC grow a fro?
A:He thought that girls only like Juju because of his curls, and once he chopped them off, then Jayce would be the cute one in the group if he just had long curly hair.

Q: I don't believe it. JC's too nice to do that. Why did he really grow the fro?
A: Fine, you got us. We were just trying to protect you from the truth: JC is lonely. Notice how Lance and Joey are always together, as are Justin and Chris. JC has no friends. He used to be best friends with J's fro. Justin noticed this and grew uncomfortable, so he chopped it off. Heartbroken, JC grew his own fro. Happy now?

Q:Why is Lance even in the group if you hardly hear him on the CD?
A:The guys were worried that they'd be accused of lip syncing, so if at the concert you could suddenly hear a bass voice, then they would have to know that they were really singing.

Q: How come Chris got to lead in IDMC?
A: Hey, it's crazy Chris. He figured he should get to lead in it. And he did start the group, ya know?

Q:How come JC and Justin lead all of the songs?
A:You see, while on MMC, Justin and JC had all these plans to do a duo group called JC and Juju. But just when they were actually ready to make their dream become a reality, K-Ci and Jojo came out, and the names were just too similar. So they got a couple of glorified backup singers and started *N Sync.

Q: How did they choose the order for the BTL concert?
A:Well, the first few songs were random. But it makes sense once you get to Just Got Paid. See, Lance "Just Got Paid," so he had money to go into space and be a "Space Cowboy." Then he got back, and even more girls liked him because he went into space, and to win them over, he sang "This I Promise You." Then, once he had them fawning over his every word, he decided that cybering was in, so "Digital Getdown." There are two possibilities for "Bye Bye Bye." Either the girl thought that cybering was nasty and wouldn't do it, so Lance broke up with her, or she did it and Lance thought she was a slut and didn't like it too much anyway, and dumped her. Take your pick.

Q: How come you hear Chris so much on the Christmas album?
A: Chris...Christmas...get it?

Q: How come JC wrote Digital Getdown?
A:He was on MMC. Duh.
