Joey - Sweet Like Miele
You know, I really suck at introductions...I think this time I'll try famous quotations: A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Like miele! Ha! Oh, I crack myself up. ::sigh:: So. Um. On with the show! Yeehaw!
- The Voice- Joey hardly gets to sing. Poor boy. And poor us. Because he really does have a very nice voice. It's also cool that he can go pretty high (as demonstrated in ITSK), but he was going to cover the bass parts before Lance joined. Did you hear him when he was singing that song from Damn Yankees on the Driven special? Very impressive. Um...he did sound ::looks in thesaurus:: remarkable when he led in I Thought She Knew. That was my fave part, too! I'm a poet, and now I know it! Wow, go me. And the On The Line soundtrack was very ::checks thesaurus again:: extraordinary. There. That about covers about all of his leads...In case you didn't get that subtle hint, here's what I'm trying to say: JOEY! SING MORE, DAMN IT! Jeez. Some people...
- The Looks- So. Joseph's looks. He used to be very, very handsome. He's not fat now, but he has put on some weight. And that's kinda what's throwing me. I mean, he's only 25! He should save some of that weight for when he's 35. Lordy. I think of Joey as a big, 6 foot tall teddy bear. You just want to go up and give him a big hug. So maybe that lil bit of extra fat comes in handy there- all the more to love. My mom, Miss Nsync-oh-my-god-they-are-ugly even agrees that if he lost some weight and changed his hair cut (she was watching On the Line) that he would be somewhat cute. And I wish he would grow back the freakin' goatee! *sniff* He looks so...naked without it.
- The Personality- This is where Joe's getting most of his cool points. Whenever I see him, he's always smiling and joking around. Even when the other guys make fun of him, he just laughs and jokes some more. But his "real" jokes aren't really that funny...I mean, climb in a tree and pretend to be a nut? Okay, whatever you say Joe. Hyper happy Joey makes Mar happy and hyper...and Dorge happy and hyper...and Santa happy and hyper...and the Sand Man happy and hyper...and the Easter bunny..see! Just thinking of him made me hyper!
- The Moves- Joey surprises me here. He doesn't look like the kind of guy who can dance, but he's really quite good. It still amazes me that he can dance the way he does...sorry, but he REALLY doesn't look like a dancer. But he is! All right. I could go on like that for a while, but I think I'm about to be paged, so I had better move on...
- The Ambition- What I like about Joey is that he knows what he likes and he sticks to it. I respect Lance for wanting to do all these side projects, but sometimes I wonder if he's stretching himself to thin. Joey, apparently, likes acting, and is pursuing that. After singing, of course. But OTL was a...not that great start, but whatever. My Big Fat Greek Wedding was an EXCELLENT uh, 2nd start. There wasn't really any mention that a guy from N Sync was in it, and it did very well. And now he's going on Broadway! Yay Joe! If I had money and lived somewhat closer to New York, I'd come see ya. But I don't. Sucks for you.
So, there you have it. Happy now? Good. Cuz I gotta go. Smilez!
