Givin' Lanceten Some Lovin'

Aw, Mar, ya like me? Ya really like me?
Duh, Lance! We LOVE you!

All righty then. Probably by now you have figured out that my fave *N Syncer is Lance. Why? Why do I put up with my mom and brother's constant arguments that he's gay and always defend him? Cuz I have to. I mean, look at the man! Fine. Don't wanna look? Then I'll give you some reasons why I luv him so much.

  1. The Voice- I dare you to find me somebody that says that Lance does not have an incredible voice. Sure, sure, say what you want about his singing, punkass (lol lela), but for such a big, deep voice to come out of a not-so-big guy is pretty amazing. Personally, I think his singing voice is just as great--that is, when we get to hear him. Think of Just Got Paid. The whole chorus would have been so...not cool without him. (lol, I'm real good at explaining stuff, ain't I?) It's his little parts in songs such as Selfish, I Drive Myself Crazy, Everything I Own, and More Than a Feeling that really bring the songs to life. Just that little something extra.
  2. The Looks- I admit it. I did not always find Lance attractive. I actually thought he was kinda funny looking. But now I look at him, and it's like, HELLO! Even my mom admitted that he has gorgeous eyes, and eyes are my fave part on a guy. He's got the whole baby boy cute thing going on, which is my favorite kind of hotness. (A full explanation of our different types of hotness will show up sometime on the site.) And now with all of his space training, he has got a serious body. You go boy!
  3. The Personality- Considering how I don't even know him, it's kind of hard to judge. But in interviews, he always seems really sweet, with a michevious streak. I can believe the whole "southern gentleman" bit, but I don't think he's like that all the time, which is OK by me. Also, did you see his face when he hugged that girl on Rosie? Truly awwww-worthy moment.
  4. The Ambition- Maybe he hasn't really succeeded that much in everything that he's done, but you've got to give the boy props for not being afraid of trying new things. Personally, I loved On the Line, but it didn't do too well, but he never whined or moaned, never really sat around feeling sorry for himself. When he was informed that those two annoying critics named it worst movie of the year, he just said, "I didn't know that," and let it drop. But he's already working on new movies, which is awesome! He doesn't let one failure get him down. On top of all that, he produces other artists, which is great, so he can sort of pass on the dream. And even though so many people are raising all this shit about how he shouldn't be able to go into space, he just keeps on doing what he's been doing, training, hoping, and just being Lance.
  5. The Moves- Everybody keeps on giving Lance grief on how he's such a bad dancer, but I love his moves! He is a LOT better than anybody I know, and he wasn't even a dancer to begin with, so to become that good in just a couple years is amazing. And he does the steps with such an aloof attitude, like "I'm hot. I'm singing. Oh, yeah, let's throw in some dancing too." Kind of like an afterthought. Very sexy.

So, there you have it. My true thoughts on Buggy. What? You don't know why I call him Buggy? Well, here ya go:

See? Bass Buggy! Lance thinks he's a buggy! Pshaw. And you thought I was the weird one...
