JC-Voice of an Angel

As much as I luv my Lanceten, and Georgia luvs her Juju, we've both got to admit that JC really is "The Voice" in *N Sync. I have so much respect for this man, and I am in constant awe of his voice. Each time I listen to "I Drive Myself Crazy," I lose myself in his part, and I am not ashamed to admit it. Well, I'm not exactly sure what else to put here...I'll try a list like I did Lance's. That ought to work.

The Voice- You cannot get away from this. You can hate *N Sync all you want, but if you just listened to JC sing, you would have to admit that his voice is strong and gorgeous. He saves *N Sync from always sounding on the whiny side (no offense to Justin at all! I just know that before I got into *N Sync, I always thought of Justin's IGBM and how whiny it was, and assumed all *N Sync was like that.) His voice was amazing on the debut album, and it has only gotten better, except for the occasional almost-whiny quality on a couple of tracks on Celebrity. Also, the fact that he plays several instruments and writes songs is always a plus. He is a music man to the core.
The Looks- Huh. So far this list is almost exactly the same as Lance's. Oh well, it'll stop after this, I promise. Jayce is gorgeous. Chiseled face, beautiful eyes...and I like his hair. So shoot me. There are some pictures that he almost looks like a statue in ancient Greece or Rome. (See, Justin isn't the god. JC is a spitting image of Apollo, Orpheus, or Adonis-fine, maybe the last two weren't gods, but whatever.) Even my mother had to admit that "he's the best looking in the group...He looks like a man. That is the highest compliment *N Sync is going to get from her, I do believe...However, that chin thing bugged me. And he could definitely stand to gain a couple of pounds. But other than that, life is good.
The Personality- Okay, so I lied. I couldn't think of any other way to put it though. I like JC. He's cool. I like how he's always jumping around and being hyper, but how he can also be "It's all about the music, man." And in the SEVENTEEN article when they said he started jumping around to distract the nosey journalist was very sweet. On DRIVEN they said he was self-conscious... And he was trying so hard to be cool at the Summer Music Mania. Muy bien.
The Ambition- What the hell. I'm just going to grade all the guys on all the same criteria. So sue me. Fine. I like how he followed his dreams, just like the other guys. But I think he's too nice and modest. He's writing all this music for other artists, producing other artists...but he does nothing for his own solo career. And don't tell me he shouldn't have a solo career. Personally, I think his solo effort would be better than Justin's, but you know that Justin's will sell more just because he's Justin Timberlake. Whatever. If that's what makes him happy, then good for him. Moving on.
The Moves- Jayce can dance! Although he is eerily good at humping the floor...wonder how he got that good... And he can do back hand springs. Very impressive.
NOTE: I do NOT think that JC is on crack. I do NOT think that he has such a ridiculous temper as often portrayed here. Honestly, even though Lance is my fave, JC is the one I would most like to meet. So there.
