Bigger than Live
Brought to you by the WB

As you all know, N Sync did this whole big HBO concert. Then it was condensed into this thing called "Bigger than Live" and ran on the WB to the delight of Mar and Dorge. Eventually we'll have a review up of the HBO concert, but seeing as we have yet to get a hold of a copy of it...it might take a while. So, enjoy what you can get, you ungrateful bumsquashes! Geez.

No Strings Attached

The lovely show opener. I really don't get this. If the whole concept of this thing is no strings attached, why are they always acting like freakin' puppets? Geez. Besides that, I like. The dance move during the "If you take a chance with me" where they all sort of jump forwards and bring their hands over their heads and then down...um...yeah...whatever. That part's cool. You could see Lance was happy that he could do the steps. "Yeah, go me. Mississippi Albino, here to take over the pop world, yo."

I Want You Back

Sorry, no pic for this one. :'( It was quite good actually. Joey got his solo: "I want you back, baby. I want you back, girl. Huh huh. Yeah." That has much progressed from his "Yeah" on their first appearance on MTV. Lance has an, I hope, unintentional solo because it sounded quite funny. The part where JC sings "I told you not to worry" terrifies Dorge. I find it funny when Jayce runs full speed up the rampy-like thing, then casually...skips down. Wow, that sounds gay. But he looked cool! I was feelin' his thug appeal. J was feeding his ego with "If you want me GIRL LET ME KNOW! Lovely.

Tearin' Up My Heart

Sorry, no pic here either...This was Dorge's fave song in the concert. I liked the "Come baby come baby baby come on." However, it bothered me that J has gotten so bossy that he feels that he has to tell JC when to start singing. Geez. After doing that song for God knows how long, you would think he was capable enough of knowing when to come in. Teenies who don't wear bras are annoying. And I have reached the sad fact that I cannot win. I hate being bossed around by Justin, so when he goes, "When I say N, you say Sync," I rebelled and said "N" with him. Then Dorge informed me that I would just be feeding into his ego even more by screaming the letter that stands for his name. ::sigh:: Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated? I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else--sorry. Avril Lavigne moment there.

It's Gonna Be Me

Justin has sweaty knees. Who the hell sweats at the knees? ::Dorge walks over and steals the keyboard:: Gods sweat at the knees... although I probably shouldn't say that, on the odd chance that Justin manages to find our website, and then reads this. That boy has enough ego already. Anywayz back to the current subject...and back to Mar. Yes, back to me. Um...besides J's sweaty knees, there isn't really anything to say about this performance. I mean, you've only seen it, gee, I dunno, 100 times before, and yet, we could not find a picture of it...oh yeah. JC randomly just ran full speed from the back to the front of the stage. What is his fascination with running on stage? It is a mystery. *cue Twilight Zone music*

I Thought She Knew

::sigh:: I love this song a lot more now that I've seen them perform it. I like seeing them go "Do do do DO." It was nice how Joey's part perfectly flowed into Chris's. I actually didn't notice until he went really high. Justin has this way of looking meaningfully at the person next to him. In this case, JC. He plays with his fingers a lot. He grabs the end of the song. Guess you gotta see it to know what I'm talking about...

Just Got Paid

This is my favorite song of the concert. It was awesome- they put so much energy into it. They exuberated fun and energy! (Yes, I know. Big word. Go me.) Lance had a cool jacket. It was green with a gold $ on the back. The little skit where they were trying to get into the club was funny. Just watching Chris doing the karate moves had me cracking up, plus JC acting all indignant that Lonnie had never heard of him. lol. Poor little *N Sync boy. However, I do have this one problem. Whenever they do "booties shakin'" they turn around and smack their butts. And every single time the camera zoomed in on Justin's "ass." Even when Lance was in the center! Jeez. Did anybody else notice how JC never dropped that dollar bill? I mean, it's only a dollar. And it's not like you can't afford it.

Space Cowboy

My my my. They did quite a good job on this. Yes...fine! I tried, but I can't not say this: JC! YOUR PANTS ARE FUGLY AND WAY TOO TIGHT! There. I said it. Phew. I feel better. C'mon, I know y'all saw the little side-jumpy move thing. You could tell the audience did - they started cheering louder. Pervs. Other than that - I like! Joey was really getting into it. I like the part they were doing when that picture ^^ was taken. Lance looked hot. ;-)I'm suhc a teeny.

This I Promise You

Aw...I love this song. But there are just so many things that just make this performance lose the "aw..." appeal. For example, it appears that a tampon was thrown across the platform at one point. Joey's nose was dripping sweat - those N Sync boys. They sweat at the oddest places...Not counting all the times when the camera was on somebody else (!)and you could not see Justin but you know he was pointing anyway, I counted 21 points-at-random-girls-in-the-audience. Just so they all felt loved, right J? JC's "forever has new BEGUN" was lacking...something. Justin made this weird "Hey, you" face that's hard to explain, but it was cute. But he laughed when a girl in the audience fell over. THAT'S NOT NICE, JUSTIN! That is why all of your fans are slowly changing their fave member...except for Dorge. Soon she'll be your only fan. ::laughs hysterically::

Digital Getdown

We're gettin' nasty nasty. Apparently J likes girls who "bounce" with him. Hmmm...JC was getting really into it. Licking the stage. Lovely. Did anybody notice how dazed everybody, but especially JC, Justin, and Lance looked? Like they were concentrating a little too much? Maybe thinking thoughts to really feel inspired to sing the song, ya know? But I swear, look at their eyes. It's creepy! But they did do a very good job. It was chock-full of energy and hos. Nice.

Bye Bye Bye

Would someone please explain to me the black robe thing in the beginning? Well, like IGBM, there isn't really all that much to say. It was more or less like the other million performances. Except for that oh-so-special moment above ^^ where Lance grabbed, and the others didn't. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SWEET LIL ALBINO? Actually, I don't really care. I like this albino better. ;-)

Overall Thoughts

They did a very good job. Unlike the Atlantis concert, they actually managed to fit a decent amount of songs in an hour without all that talk. I don't mind the talk...if you're going to give me 2 hours, as opposed to just one. But there was really one thought that kept on being thunk: So this is what it's like with the other guy's mics turned up...You could actually hear Lance, Chris, and Joey- whoa, what a concept! And they sounded really good. They should do that more often.
So, uh, that's about it. Have a peachy day!
