Green Valley Lake - Labor Day 2001
It was a time of fun for all. The AFB reunion. There's nothing like a glorified pond, two carfulls of people, and a fantastic view from a lady-lover's cabin to make for a great weekend of partying, playing games, sleeping, and bonding. Take a look at our pictures, and you will be jealous of the good time we had. Reservations are being made for next year, possibly also this winter. You must pay to partake. Hey, why is there no picture of me? Those who have the camera must step away from the camera, eh?

View of Lake Arrowhead from the left side of the deck. There's Grandma and Grandpa's cabin! I see it!

Here is the view (a little smoggy, but hey, it's SoCal) from the direct center of the deck. Victorville? Apple Valley? Hesperia? Something like that, I think.

This is the gorgeous view from the right side of the deck. Sure, it's pointed to the sky, but trees are only so pretty, you know? Does that cloud have a silver lining, or is it just me?

An appropriate title of the house for us folks! The people who went are me (Kelly), Tiffany, Jamie, Stephanie, Craig, Kristina, Doug, and my ex, Nick.

This is the frontal view, minus about a third on either side, but hey, my digital camera isn't panoramic, so shoot me!

There's WonderWoman, among the trees, please. That's the right portion of the cabin.

And here are a few of us kooks, Craig, Tiffany, and Jamie making her signature happy face in the kitchen of our fine establishment. Say cheeeeeeeez!!!

Stephanie being a good mommy and washing our dishes. Steph, Craig, Kristina, and Doug all drove out from Tuscon, AZ where they cram their brains at U of A. What a nice bunch of Greeks!

Once again, the lack of a panoramic view makes for an incomplete picture of the beer wall. The guys contributed a vast portion of the bound-for-recycle-bin bottles, but the girls sure as heck didn't slack!

Tiffany! Of all people, adding a few items to the wall. Who would have thought! ;-)

Here's Jamie, kickin it on the left corner of our deck (it's too bright, or you'd see Lake Arrowhead). We're getting ready to go home now, sniff, sniff.

And finally, the crew is leaving. Oh, so sad, but we had a blast.
Unfortunately, a variety of the events that took place INSIDE the cabin are either classified information, or it was too dark for me to capture on my digital camera. The paddleboat excursion, as well as our attempt to ice-skate (the Ice Castle has been torn down), are not on here, but we have many pictures in our mind. Thanks for visiting, have a great day!
