There was one sunless day recorded during the month.

Only one thunderstorm occurred during the month and that didn't last very long. No rain fell at all between the 9th and the 22nd, yet on June 30th, 45 millimetres of rain fell, making it was the wettest day of the year so far of the year and tarnishing what otherwise has been generally a warm, dry and sunny month, causing flash floods and substantially raising rainfall totals. It wasn't, however, as wet as 31st July 2002 when 49 millimetres of rain fell or 31st August 1997 when 57 millimetres of rain fell.

It was the sunniest June recorded since 1996 and the warmest recorded June since 1976.
