Secondaries:

The secondaries are symbols designed to represent sixteen possible states, i.e. hexadecimal. They are read from left to right and are little endian (LSB last).
Each secondary is composed of four primaries

Symbols:

Start with a dash:
0x0  This is zero.

Now add some lines for the numbers:
0x1  This is one.
0x2  This is two.

Combine one and two to make three:
0x3  This is three.

Invert one and two to make four and eight:
0x4  This is four.
0x8  This is eight.

As with three, combine one and four to make five:
0x5  This is five.

Combine one, two, four and eight to make the last digit:
0xF  This is fifteen (0xF).

Now we can count from 0 to F:
0x0 0x1 0x2 0x3 0x4 0x5 0x6 0x7 0x8 0x9 0xA 0xB 0xC 0xD 0xE 0xF
